(Wisdom Poem) Be Kind To Others

It is the fool who promotes his own shame and greed

For it is only the wise who shall inherit God’s glory

The passionate shall show mercy to the weak stranger

The Lord blesses the homes of those who love Him

Yet the Lord curses the hearts of those who choose evil

The person who is forward and aggressive loses his own Soul

Yet the Lord keeps His secrets bound in the hearts of the meek

If you envy the possessions of the aggressor you envy a fool

Do not be aggressive toward anyone who has done you no harm

Only an idiot chooses to be aggressive toward their own neighbor

If your brother seeks food and you have it then invite him to share

Do not withhold food from your neighbor when your pantry is full

Satin rejoices in the hearts of the greedy and those who worship gold

Do not let the sun set on you paying the wages to the working poor

Don’t be fooled, the Earth is the Lord’s Footstool, He will Judge us all

(Philosophy/Poem) Explain Your Self

Explain Your Self

Just who do we really think we are

If a stranger asked our spouse about us

What is it do we think they would really say

Would they paint the stranger a happy picture

Or, would they vent and spit venom at our name

Our Children, do you think they ever really knew us

Ever wonder what our kids and theirs think about us

Do you think about if they know you really do love them

Our childhood, how did we really manage to survive it

What have we done for those we can say we really love

So many failures, so many things I wish I could change

Were you are a child just trying to learn to stay out of the way

If you were never taught reality, how can one manage to find it

We hopefully can reach old age if we can live long enough to enjoy it

An Old Wise Man told me this just a few days before he passed away

When we finally learn our self, its time to give our Soul back to God

Quiet Night

Quiet Night

Doth one tremble in the day

Anxiety ripping through one’s flesh and bone

Trembling for what the night’s darkness holds

Do we stumble and fall while in the light

So afraid of what the night will show

Turn not thy foot from the door as night doth set

If we step into the dark of night

Doth the shimmering light still guide our step

As it fades ever dimmer beneath the streets

Do we fear that which we do not know

Do we stumble upon that which we cannot see

Do the stars shine does the moon give it’s glow

O child of man so foolish are we

Bed down in your castle

Where candles and lanterns abound

Walk in the light while it still can be found

Keep your door closed to the darkness

The viper awaits, no sound did it make

Attached to your shin your death it awaits

Six feet closer to Hell in the darkness you wait

You chose to walk in the darkness of this world

Now the lake of your new Master awaits

Can you smell the sulfur as Your Soul He takes
