(Theology Poem) The Truth

The Truth

O’ Truth, why do we hate you so

Why do we turn our face from you

At your presence we turn and flee

Why do you frighten us to our grave

What is it about you that scares us so

In your light we were created

Within your love we were sustained

In your wisdom and might we grew

With your knowledge given we prospered

In your Holiness we lived without fear

Through the lie’s of Snakes we do now live

Now, lies and unstable ignorance we follow

The children of Devil’s now rule all the land

Divided and conquered we can now only crawl

O’ Spirit of Truth once again enter our conscience

(Theology Poem) My Depression

My Depression

My bones are weary with my age Lord

My mind speaks bitterness to my Soul

Lord do You despise my skin and my bones

Each night I search for the sins I committed

Lord am I wicked though my eyes see it not

My Lord I know that I am but clay and dust

At Your will Lord I know I will soon return to it

Youth You gave me yet I did not value or respect it

You granted me life Lord and many a pretty days

Yet I seemed to seldom live in the Light given to me

Woe be unto me Lord if I am counted among the wicked

I am not worthy Lord to have ever come out of the womb

Lord there is no joy in living if You turn Your Face from me

I have lived in a land of darkness made by my own hands

Show me Your mercy and wisdom, bring me to Your Light

Lord I have lived as a fool walking in my own darkness

Understanding and wisdom, Lord I have only a little

I stand as one mocked by both family and by the world

My Soul and my breath is always held in Your hands Lord

Darkness has been my depression as I now seek Your Light

(Theology Poem) Prophet

Prophet

What is a Prophet, is there really such a thing in these days that we live

Is it something from our past that mankind in our wisdom has out lived

Who is it that would dare say they are such a thing as a speaker of God

Do we believe things the Scriptures have told us for thousands of years

Today if a person says they are a Prophet do they say this hoping for profit

Are we living in Spiritual darkness, are these the last days of mankind

Are we living in a time that our ears cannot hear nor can our eyes see

If one stands up and speaks only God’s truth, would anyone of us listen

If we are living in the last days in darkness of which the Scriptures speak

What shall we do, will we know a chosen vessel of God, or will our hearts be cold

Friends, Prophets will be both men and women that God for Himself has chosen

Will our sarcasm, our ignorance and ego’s lead us to live in Hell’s fiery pit below

(Theology Poem) For G-d Is With Thee

(The Idea For This Poem Came From The Bible, Old Testament, 1st Chronicles Chapter 17)

Shall we build a house to honor the Lord

Do we honor the Lord in our own house

Can we do better than that of our Fathers

Are our feet planted in the Earth unmovable

Do our own children and theirs know The Lord

I have been a wanderer all of my days, but for what

Along with the dirt I have washed my hands in blood

Will our children choose a better path than our own

Our Children and their, have we nurtured them in wisdom

Is not The Lord’s Path true Manna from the Throne of G-d

Will we indeed build a house for the lord to dwell in

Does The Lord dwell in the house in which we live

Does not The Spirit of The Lord dwell in His believers

There is no greater gift than that of G-d’s Living Spirit

For the walk of a Saint shows the world The Spirit Of G-d

(Theology Type Of Poem) What We See, But Also, What We Don’t See

What We See, But Also, What We Don’t See

We are all in the Womb, so what did we know and when

So, what did we see with our first memory, of anything

What did we know when we first remember seeing the Sun

How many folks have we seen through our heart, for a while

When did we each say, here I am, and remember that memory

There is always a time when we look right through our life, like a grind

We all walked past the Daily Hurdles life so kindly keep twirling at us

Did we notice and remember the people who slid in and out of our daily life

Stages of how you and I look now look in the memories of others cared about

Grades at every step, in deed we’re prodded and Rated, but what were we taught

Those around us who we know, how many of those folks don’t even recognize us

Yet how many wonderful people have we walked by because we didn’t see them

One side is irate cause the memories they see were far from being great ones

With Gray Hair we understand better what our senses of youth were blind to

When we understand that only by the Grace of G-d, have you or I, ever been

(Theology Poem) Trust And Rest

Trust And Rest

True rest is a trusted rest that is well-earned and deserved

Does not even the Lord choose to rest from His chosen labors

Yet rest not while the work is yet at your hands and your feet

A slothful man will starve both  himself and all of his family

Confidence in one rest is when all of their harvest has been sown

When ones mind seeks sin there is no true rest of their Soul

When a parent has a rebellious child they can never sleep well

Candles burnt at both ends brings death early to our own door

Anxiety is a persecution of the heart that allows the mind no rest

For can one truly rest when they cannot trust who is in our head

Trust and rest are like a full harvest as they are all fully earned

The bones grow weak when we party with the Devil and the Moon

Slothfulness disrupts the alpha rhythms of our rim sleep and our rest

The weary in the Lord shall enjoy their rest when their work is done

Trustworthy is the rest we will receive when our Soul returns to G-d

(Theology Poem) G-d’s Judgement Upon Our Nations

G-d’s Judgement Upon Our Nations

Children of the Earth lend me your ear, and listen to my words

The Lord of the Heavens has brought us up as His Holy children

The Earth listens yet why does His children still continue to rebel

A mule knows the voice of his master yet we people ignore our own

When children provoke their Father should we not expect His wrath

Children, why do we continue to choose to be stricken with grief

From the sole of our feet to our crown is there no wisdom in us

Our Country and our Cities are havens for murderers and thieves

Yet we questioned not those who had authority over our own children

If not for a small remnant of the Lord’s Saints would we all be dead

Why do we bother to enter the Lord’s House covered in innocent blood

Know ye not that the Lord turns His Face from the prayers of the wicked

We stretch forth our hands only for money and the homes of the fatherless

Our Princes are lovers of power and gifts and are bedfellows of like swine

The Elephants and Donkeys devour the Widows and Homeless as we smile

The World must soon repent or we will be destroyed by the fire of The Lord

Theology Poem: Their Is Only One Thing We Own

Their Is Only One Thing We Own

We bought us a Hector of land about 3 yrs ago

It even had a three bedroom planted upon its face

We’re even blessed with two old sleds, but they ride

Could we all be more alive if we just owned more toys

Own the Business, but, do we really ever own the fame

There are many generations of those whom have owned this land

How many striped backs have worked this very place that I stand

Grass to timber, back to grass, then back to trees, again and again

Did a Red Man before me own it, if so, which people were they of

Did a Cave Man or maybe a Monkey or even a Chimp lay claim to it

Do the Trees think they own the Stars as well as the Ground below

The Skies hold the Rain but are the Skies beholding to the night breeze

How is it that I think to my self, yes I do own this, and I also own that

The Air owns the Man, the Man has never been in control of his Air

The Only Thing that We Own is Our Own Name, waiting in Line Up There

Theology Poem: Compassion

Theology Poem: Compassion

Should we kneel and pray for the things we have done

Should man only fast in certain months throughout the year

When our Elders did Fast, did they only do so in times of plenty

When we eat and when we drink do we share with our friends

Did the poor ever savor our crumbs or did we take them from them

Have we ignored the words of the Lord’s Prophets throughout time

True judgement is to shew mercy and Compassion to friend and foe

Those who oppress the Widow and the Children oppresses the Lord

The Greedy pull away and stop their ears to the truth of Compassion

The hearts of the wealthy are often like a stone, no Compassion within

The Spirit of The Lord see’s those Souls who refuse to live by Compassion

In turn The Lord will not hear their cries for what they would not give

The High Minded, Arrogant and selfish consider Compassion to be weakness

If we choose to live without Compassion The Lord will turn His Face from us

Compassion, no Soul lives in isolation, good or bad, before The Lord we will Kneel

Theology Poem: Evil Cards Will Burn

Theology Poem: Evil Cards Will Burn

The Wealthy are like Lions lurking in the weeds

Can anyone remove themselves from their jaws

Evil gives to the Rich as they steal from the poor

Wealthy Politicians steal the Homes of the Widows

Fools, The Lord sees your ways and you He will judge

The Lord has set His feet upon the roof of the Stars

Millions of Planets He has created and He has dominion

Earth He rented to man, it’s now covered in innocent blood

At Your Name Lord the Mountains and the Rivers do shake

Yet to the Faithful You have given the Path to Your Glory

Lord rebuke the evil liars and remove them from Our Office

Destroy the Temples of Wealth built on the backs of the poor

Lord bring down the Politicians who put Party before the people

Bake the acidic forked tongues of these snakes in Hell’s Fire

The Lord Judges Righteously, so these Cards of Satan will burn
