(Philosophy/Poem) All Countries Have Dark Shadows And Secrets

Is there any ground that is not stained with innocent blood

Through the thousands and thousands of human years told

Every Clan every village every woman every child and man

There are shadows that move in the back swamps at night

Every Pod sprouts out into the light showing good seed and rotten

Here in the U.S. our own History shows we invaded every neighbor

There is blood on the hands of everyone who survived a cleansing

Freedom ain’t Free if all flows to the top end of big Gov and Corporate

How many fields and streams have flowed red with the innocent

Political Media spin put up a face act all amazed to learn about you

Ain’t nobody without a little dirt kicked onto a family grave

We won our freedom but how many free people did we kill

Some blood were proud of spilling, some were ashamed of

Can any Country live Free without making a mistake of two

There are dark shadows in the forest and swamps of all Lands

(Philosophy/Poem) Dirty Little Secrets

Dirty Little Secrets

Just because we were both young

I kept all of your nasty little secrets

Because both our kids were innocent

I pray their minds are clear of deceptions

Secrets, O how much they can harm

Dirty little secrets destroy all they touch

How many deaths have your dark daggers caused

Dirty little secrets, O how you mar the soul and heart

Secrets, prognosticate the lies that now come

Why always the need to bury a shameful truth

To skirt all real issues with your high skirts

In the mirror, what is that looking back at you

Can you even see the damage, dirty little secrets

We keep some secrets, sometimes we don’t

Sometimes to protect the heart of a friend

It’s okay to lie, just pretend we didn’t know

Dirty little secrets sometimes we keep for life

I wish that perfect that I myself could be

A disgrace is all I see the secrets inside of me

Lord I come to you bowed head on bent knees

Please cleanse me of all, my dirty little secrets

Dirty Little Secrets

Dirty Little Secrets

Just because I was young and naive

You kept your secrets from me

Because both our kids were young

I pray their minds are cleansed of such deceptions

Secrets, O how much they can harm

Dirty little secrets

How many deaths have you caused

Dirty little secrets,  you mar the Soul and the heart

Secrets, prognosticate the lies that now come

Why always the need to bury a truth

To skirt all of the real issues in our lives

In the mirror, what is that looking back at you

Dirty little secrets

We keep some secrets, sometimes  for life

Sometimes to protect the heart of a friend

Little white lies don’t hurt we are all told

All we have to do is just pretend we didn’t know

O the weight and the cost of dirty little secrets

I wish that perfect for a day I could be

A disgrace is all I see when dreams enlighten

When I see the secrets inside of me

Lord I come to you on prayerful knees

Please cleanse me of all, my dirty little secrets

Secrets, Lies and Ghosts

Secrets we have harbored sense opening our eyes

How many stories and lies had we learned by three

Family secrets, personal flaws, shelved deep in files

How many skeletons haunt the rafters of your mind?

You learn to survive in a home with hate, ignorance, alcohol

All creatures learn young if they hold a high value, or none

Lies and secrets that little children learn to spin to cover the scars

What is truth, what are the lies, the path we choose defines our loves.

Aged we lay in bed thinking of the Ghosts left behind their blood in our minds

Our brain, our personal CPU, 92% dark matter, 8% can’t fathom our own realm

Night time filled with escape dreams, daytime living in the mental space allowed

Secrets poison the Soul, they are like lies, old ghosts, you can’t live till they die.

Dirty Little Secrets

Just because we were young

Girl, I kept your secrets

Because both of our kids were young

I pray their minds will be free of your deceptions.

Secrets, O how much they can harm

Couples dirty little secrets

How many deaths have you caused?

Dirty little secrets, O how you mar the soul and heart.

Secrets, prognosticate the lies that now come

Why always the need to bury a truth?

Secrets, used to skirt life’s real issues

In the mirror, what is that looking back at you?

Do you even know what you are, dirty little secrets.

The human experience, we all keep some secrets

Sometimes to protect the heart of a friend

We all know it’s okay to lie, to deceive

I’ll just pretend I don’t know, your dirty little secrets.

I wish that perfect I could be

A disgrace is all I see

When I see the secrets inside of me

Lord I come to you on bent  knees

Please cleanse me of all, my dirty little secrets.
