If You Are Poor And Can’t Support Yourself; Why Should You Be Allowed To Live?

If You Are Poor And Can’t Support Yourself; Why Should You Be Allowed To Live?

Playing the part of the devils advocate in this piece, all for the purpose of getting people to think deeper than the everyday surface that we see in our daily lives and to look at the bigger pictures in life itself.

Several months ago I wrote an article that was about world food supplies concerning an ever-growing world population. As we speak there are about 7.1 billion human mouths to feed here on the planet Earth. Fifty years ago the world could not have fed the current population, the shortfall would have been by at least a couple of billion mouths. If by the year 2050 there are ten billion people, will we as a human society be able to feed them all? What if they can’t, then what? There are thousands of people who die everyday on this globe because they did not have the food and or water they need to survive. There are millions of people right here in America that go hungry everyday, men, women, children, old folks. It is a national disgrace that this country has millions of people who are homeless and hungry, there is no excuse for this except pure greed and ego’s. Greed, that is an obvious answer, but ego’s? One of the sad lessons that I have learned during my years is that most people here in the States seem to look down upon anyone who has less than they themselves do. When a person has a problem in their life where they have a problem with their finances and they lose their car or their home many people mock them behind their backs and belittle them to their faces, and on places like Facebook. Brotherly love, where is it? Christian love? Multi-million dollar Church buildings that are financed on the backs of the very poorest, or in a community that is very poor, is a disgrace to the teachings of Jesus.

Now for the Devils Advocate part of this post. If I were a very wealthy person whether I be worth many millions or even worth billions, why should I have to give any of my money, my resources, to help the poor, uneducated, and untrained? Why should I have to take fewer profits just to give to those to sorry or to ignorant or to disabled to be able to support themselves? When there are ten billion children with let us say about three billion adults but technology has made it to where there are only two billion jobs with only about one billion that actually pays a living wage, why should I give a flip about all these lowlife peasants? Why should the top one-per-centers be forced to lower their life styles and give to the bottom rungs of society? Why feed the garbage, just let them die so they can get the heck off my planet sooner!

Is it my fault that ten percent of the people in my county are unemployed and another forty percent are underemployed? Well, if I am a business owner or an executive with an international company and my total earnings are leveled off at lets say five times the amount of my bottom scale I pay my employees, maybe then I would care about what my lowly scumbag employees make. Why should I have to give any of my money to the welfare system? If these people are to lazy or broken down to go earn their own living why the heck should I care if these people starve or freeze to death, they are not my responsibility? As an example, if the planet can only sustain five billion humans then why is it wrong for those of us who are energetic and have been successful in our lives to go forward with the eradication of the lowlife scum on this planet whom are not pulling their own weight?–Remember, Devils Advocate. Folks, if you honestly believe that there aren’t millions of people who think this way then I believe that you are clueless to reality.

(Humor Poem) Give Me Gold

GIVE ME GOLD

If Gold is our God, we shall never be in want

Gold always lets us lay down in pure pleasures

Gold floats us upon Lillie Pads in Crystal Waters

Gold always lets us shop in all the most Chic of places

Gold restores the fortunes of the weak, for its own name sake

Even though we are welcome in the finest of Casinos and Royal Houses

We have nothing to fear with our linens threads of pure Gold to lay upon

Our Stocks, our Bonds, our Secure Boxes filled with Gold, it comfort us

Nothing like Gold to make our enemies to bow at our table if they want to eat

Gold Chalices anoint our hands, because of gold, we live a life that over flows

Purely Nature itself gives Her blessings to us, as long as we are well supplied in Gold

All the days of our lives we deserve to live in pure luxury, we have the power of Gold

If we wish we can live in mansions made of pure Gold, after all, aren’t we Demigods

Gold is our strength, why would anyone pity week-minded, the poor, the old, leaches

Gold is Eternal, if there is a God, we will put him in his place with a bribe a bit later

(Humanity Poem) The Slavery Side Of Being Poor

THE SLAVERY SIDE OF BEING POOR

Slavery a Devils device to choke and subdue the weak and the poor

Breath, a life, hope, not at the end of The Boss Mans chains and rope

Captivity, chaining the feet to the rich mans dirt, no life, just work

Weak and the poor plow their fields, fight their wars, spill our blood

Least Humans united helps take the whip off of our Boss Mans side

Live under a bridge or find safety in a cardboard version of a tent

Get cozy with a fire barrel hopefully long enough to warm oneself

The few have so much while the much need to be held with a bit

Work dawn to dusk, make a little jingle live to see the sunrise again

Money, food, life, all gone so easy never sleep well don’t close both eyes

Humans need more to live for than looking for “The Light” when they die

Working both feet in the grave to support your family, give them a ray of life

Poor man is a dead man walking from conception till toes up in his grave

Mr. Franklin’s mean you have a roof overhead, power, food, A/C, and heat

Need no whips, we have Hollywood and DC to tell us all what to do and think

If the Media loves the Prez it’s amazing how good a dead economy can look

Two percent inflation, yet ten times that when you try to buy some food to cook

Trunk in The Office, amazing how cold a once heated economy can get crooked

Even when the world of The Lords is dim, still it’s brighter than under their whips

Poorest of the poor need a seat at life’s table or Humans won’t continue to be

The Unneeded Poor WILL BE Exterminated

The Unneeded Poor WILL BE Exterminated

In this article today I am going to write it as a proverbial ‘Devils Advocate’. What I mean by this is that this is not something that I want to happen yet I am making the argument to you that it is very much a possible reality as the human race continues to degenerate.

When it comes to politics I am an ‘Independent’, neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I believe that both of those major parties are about as crooked at the top levels as they can find a way to be. When you are a person like Hillary or Bill Clinton or a Trump or a Bush I believe that they have proven themselves to be the type of people who will do anything to win or to enrich themselves. In the past day or so thousands of documents dubbed the ‘Paradise Papers’ have surfaced showing how the super wealthy cheat their country and their people out of tax revenues. Last year the same type thing happened with the ‘Panama Papers.’ These documents show that not only are many of the ‘super wealthy’ cheating on their taxes, they also show how intertwined they are with world leaders, government officials, and the super huge global companies as they all seek to scratch each other’s backs in their efforts to get even richer.

Back in the mid-1970’s you used to hear people talking on the radio and TV how with the ‘new technologies’ how people were only going to be only having to work 4 day weeks because the machines will allow us to get as much done in 4 days as was currently being done in the 5 day work week. How foolish these ‘talking heads’ were. If you are the employer why would you give up the chance to make an extra 20% each week by giving your employees an extra day off? Especially if your company is on the Stock Exchange, your stockholders would quickly replace you. The business world, especially those on the Stock Exchange are only concerned about one thing, higher profits. If you have ever paid any attention at all to the stock market, you should have noticed how little these people think of the people who are actually making the products. When two companies merge the value of the stock goes up. Why, because the next thing that will happen is the new Board of Directors will be getting rid of many ‘unneeded’ employees. Doing this means that the company will take those wages as pure profit, increasing the value of its stock. When a company decides to get rid of employees, the stock value goes up. When a company breaks a Union, the stock value goes up. During these events, you should also have seen that the Board of Directors salaries and bonuses go up. When a company moves their production factories to a ‘third world’ country where they can fire all of their American workers and get child slave labor to do all the production, stock values, and executive compensation goes up.

The world as you know has a population growth that is unsustainable yet at this same time machines and robots (AI) are taking more and more jobs away from workers. From a business standpoint, having machines replace human workers is a very wise thing to do, and it increases your stock value and the bosses salaries and compensation. If they invest in machines they can get rid of the overhead cost of having human employees. Think about it, no more salaries to pay, no benefit packages to pay like Workers Comp, vacation pay, health insurance, retirement benefits, paid sick days, you can’t be sued by a computer, no OSHA regulations to adhere to. Folks, the list goes on and on.

Our planet has about seven billion people on it right now, look at the slave labor around the world right now, from Africa to Asia to the Middle-East and yes, here in the U.S. also. Is slave labor legal in a lot of these countries? No, but it still goes on. You may say why, why does it still go on but the answer is simple, pay as little for the labor as possible to increase the profits at the top and to the stockholders. You may say now wait a moment, slaves don’t cost anything but this is not totally true. Slaves still have to get some food and some water or they will die or become too weak to do the work. The more slaves you have in the ‘waiting room’ the less you have to supply to each one each day. Why, because it is in your financial best interest if all of the ‘extras’ die. If the ‘extras’ aren’t dying fast enough on their own, you assist them.

If the Earth has seven billion people but can only sustain six billion people because there is no way to produce enough food, what happens to the extra billion people? Who do you think are going to be the ones that are starved to death? Hint, it is not going to be the super rich who basically own everything, it will be the poorest of the poor who will be eliminated. During the early Republican Primaries last year a former ‘Speaker of the House’ Newt Gingrich spelled out the perfect Republican ‘wish list.’ As you probably know the majority of the Republicans in the Congress and the Senate, and this President wants to cut the national deficit by cutting programs like food stamps to the poor and cutting way back on Medicare, Medicaid, meals on wheels, school lunch programs and Social Security. Folks, who need these programs the most? Mr. Gingrich in a TV program last year went even further. Mr. Gingrich consider all of these programs to be ‘welfare’, yet he went further, he called military retirement pay, VA disability compensation and the VA itself ‘welfare’ programs and he said that all of these ‘Welfare’ programs need to be eliminated. There was one thing that he did not include in his list of welfare programs, that was Congressional, Senate, and Presidential retirement pay and benefits, go figure. He has been receiving taxpayer-paid benefits for decades, but I guess that doesn’t count.

Back in the 1950’s the top end national tax rate was 90%, during that time the U.S. was able to build city infrastructures, a National Highway program unequaled in the whole world as well as thousands of new bridges and dams. Now, our roads, bridges, dams, and cities are falling apart, why is this? Now the top end tax rate has been 35% and the President is pushing a top end tax rate of 20%. This is at the same time that corporations are swimming in cash and as they say, with nowhere to spend it. About six months ago, I think it was on CNN, that they reported that U.S. companies have about 13 Trillion Dollars sitting in offshore accounts. So, what do these Republican lawmakers want to do, take even more money out of the economy and give it to these same folks who are destroying our country from the inside? It is also these same benefactors who are filling the pockets of these same evil politicians.

Back in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s in China Chairman Mao put a starvation policy in place against the citizens of China. The reason was simple, 500 million people are easier to control than one billion people. Folks, these are just things that I have seen, heard, and read throughout my 60+ years. You don’t have to agree with anything that I have written in this article today, but I hope that I have been able to at least get you to think about these issues.

(Nature/Poem) These Beautiful Appalachian Hills

These Beautiful Appalachian Hills

These beautiful hills of east Tennessee

The Smokey’s so beautiful, all natural

A gem of nature, for all, so pleasing to see

Can the eye see, what was, what is, what will be

Appalachia, scenic, pleasing to one’s senses

People so poor, yet so kind, southern hospitality

Raised with tobacco, coal, and dirt in our blood

Heads bowed on the Sabbath or the First

Like we know we all should, give the Lord thanks

Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia

Iron Ridge, Twin County, Carol and Grayson

Twin sisters in nature, the people are one

Our love is not money The Lord come’s first

Tread lightly on that which you love

Walk to heavily, you crush all that is good

Consider that what you see, given by Grace

God’s nature is that which you breathe

Do not let that which you love, be trashed

Treat your gifts like one that you truly love

From the Smokey’s to the Blue Ridge Mountains

A gift we are given by Grace so blessed to call home

When The World’s Poorest Can’t Provide For Themselves: Why Should They Be Allowed To Live?

This title is meant for the purpose of being argumentative, it is designed for the purpose of getting people to think. No, I do not agree with this philosophy, but, do you? Do you honestly believe that there are people in this world that do believe this way? I do, I have no doubt of it, to not believe it you are being very naive. If a person totally knew that they could get away with it I believe that many people on this planet would kill (for example) everyone in the U.S. State of California for one million dollars. There are probably many people in the U.S. alone that would kill every Republican or every Democrat for free if they knew they could get away with it. There is so much hatred in this world whether it be from politics, race, religion or economics that it is only by the grace of our Creator that this hasn’t happened yet. Think of the times just in the past 200 years where there has been attempted genocide committed throughout the world. Honestly, how safe do you personally feel in your own little corner of the world?

This article today is going to focus mainly on genocide against the poorest people in the world. This article is about economics, not race or religion. Earth is pushing a population of eight billion people and there are many places around the globe where people are literally starving to death everyday. Even here in America, the wealthiest Nation the World has ever known has millions of people going hungry everyday. There are thousands of people here in this Country who have no shelter from the winter’s cold but there are many millions who suffer this reality worldwide everyday. Who is it that really cares about the plight of the poor? Do the people who call themselves ‘religious’ really care? Does anyone, really?

Now I am going to get really cold-hearted on you. If the world has 8 billion people but only 6 billion has the earned income to have enough food to survive shouldn’t society just cull these extra 2 billion out and let them go ahead and starve? If there were 2 or 3 or 5 billion fewer people on the planet wouldn’t that mean that there is more wealth for the remaining billions? Even when speaking on strictly economics is it the job of the have’s to help support the have-nots? Should the factory owner care if their employees are making a livable wage? The less the top end has to pay to create their wealth for them the more homes, vehicles and vacations they can have for themselves. There is a reason that even to this day there are an estimated (via the UN stats) about 30 million slaves worldwide today. Slaves, serfs, are just disposable trash to be used up and thrown out, it is simple, the less I pay others the more I have. Why should I care about the poor, the uneducated or the disabled if I don’t have to? Worldwide there are hundreds of  millions of people going hungry everyday while at the same time many millions of tons of food is thrown in the trash. Just think how bad things are going to be when the global population reaches its breaking point as far as the ability to grow enough food for the bottom half of the world’s population. Just think about how many people are going to be left out in the cold without an income as machines and computers do more and more of the work for the employers (the have’s). Automation has been taking jobs away from humans at a very fast clip during the past generation, why should an employer pay an employee wages and benefits if they don’t have to? Fewer and fewer jobs for humans equal fewer and fewer people with incomes so why should the top 1/10 of one percent just ‘give’ money to the poor? My argument is that they won’t, they don’t! This article is just food for your thoughts! I’m just saying…

Why It Is Okay To Own Slaves: (Not Really)

Professional writers say that on a blog post people need to use a title that gets people’s attention so that they will stop browsing mail titles and stop and read yours. Hopefully you are not a person that believes it is okay to own another person. But, there in lies a point that in some people’s minds makes it okay to buy, sale, and trade in human flesh. I have learned in my years of travels that some people don’t really believe that other people are really actually human beings. Sounds rather ignorant doesn’t it? But I have learned in my time that God has given me that some people do believe that any other “Being” that is not of their own skin color, or religion, or even nationality, do not have Souls, that others are not really human beings with a Soul like unto their own race, religion, ….

Here in America most people would probably say that actual slaves do not exist in our country because it is illegal. Some people are naive, some people choose not to see, many choose to bury their own heads inside their own  so that they do not have to bear witness to the evil of the real world around us. I am very glad that in our country legal slavery has been abolished way before my lifetime but that plague still simmer here among us. Like in most cases in our world if you wish to see truth, follow the money, follow the ego’s, follow the hate.

When I was much younger I used to wonder how it was possible for human beings to do the horrible things they do to each other. How could a race of people justify to their God their own actions of bull whipping, raping, torturing, enslaving, and killing of other people. How could the English justify their actions toward the Irish people or the Indian, African, or even the Jewish? How could the European people come to another country like the Colonies and justify removing the Native populations? How did Americans justify removing the Mexican populations of the west and southwest? How did parts of a nation believe in the African slave trade to be exceptionable? Evil, Demonic hearts, hater filled, egotistical, greed filled souls? Yes is my belief to those questions.

Slavery has existed since man crawled out of their caves with the intent to take by any means necessary that which others possessed. To the most powerful goes the gains which others labored for, including their bodies. Why should the land owner, the governor, or the King pay for what they can get for free? When Europeans came to the Americas the wealthy purchased the law and the land just as they had in Europe. Still, someone had to do the work for them and why pay for that which you can take for free? First they tried to enslave the Native Indians but they knew the lay of the lands and they simply ran away. Then, came the indentured poor white folks who for the price of their ticket to the New World worked as a slave for usually about seven years for the Land Lords to earn their freedom. This wasn’t working all that well either so then came the enslavement of captured Africans who were to never be freed, ever. Most all enslavement’s of humans have always been about the rich owning the poor, this disgrace of enslaving the Africans is the only time in recorded history that I have ever come across that was totally color based.

I learned the answer to my question of how people could justify to themselves their actions against others, people who were different in some way than they themselves. I learned this answer in 1978 when I started going to a church in a small southern town in which I was told by the preacher that the people there (in that congregation) did not believe that non-whites had Souls. You read that correctly, this to his credit was the fact that made him turn in his notice to them that he was quitting as their Pastor. That moment in time was when the light, the answer to how came to light for me. How sickening that mind-set, how evil.

The U.N. recently stated that they believe that about 9 million people world-wide are living in slavery. They say that most of these slaves are in North Africa, the Middle East, and in Asia, most, but not all. Where there is not the heart, belief, and faith of ever human being’s being equals, there will be slavery. Where there is the heart of pure greed, there will be slavery, thievery, and unjust imprisonment. When a poor person is willing and able to work for their food and shelter they should be able to afford more than slop and a cardboard box. One simple example I will use is the case of the employees of a large/huge company cannot obtain full-time positions and a livable wage and company provided insurances for their families while the owners of the company increases their wealth by billions every year. Livable wage is a subjective term, to some a livable wage is defined as “if they are still breathing” then I am “giving” “these people” enough of “my” money. “Why should one pay for what they can get for free, or at least as little as possible”? Simple math, the smaller amount I have to give to “these people” the more I get to keep for myself. Ego, greed, evil, yes they are all bred into the Devils servants. Here in America we hear about the evil of the top 1%, the worst evil lies in the top 1/1000 of this 1% club. Is there slavery in our world today? You decide for yourself, what do you “see”?
