(Poem) Barrels And Bullets

In 632 it began with the deceiving of a man

Deceived by a snake wrapped in the sand as if a man

Hate rising, man against man, over and over again

God’s covenant was given to all of mankind

By being aloof with great ego’s mankind is blinded

To their brothers of the sand they hid the love of God’s Bride

For their love was not within being consumed in their pride

Through the centuries now for how many millions have died

For the love that was not given their brothers were driven away

To our brothers and sisters of  the sand hate kills the Soul of a man

By your love not given you drove them into the arms of the deceiver

For the black gold of the sand now is covered in red

Of all the innocent women, children, and men

The leaders of this world have sold their own souls

How many bullets does one barrel of black gold hold

That is one that I’m sure the great deceiver knows

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman made his son his successor on Wednesday, removing his nephew as crown prince and giving the 31-year old almost unprecedented powers as the world’s leading oil exporter implements transformation reforms.

A royal decree appointed Mohammed bin Salman crown prince and deputy prime minister. He retains defense, oil and other portfolios.

It said Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, a counter-terrorism chief admired in Washington for putting down an al Qaeda campaign of bombings in 2003-06, was relieved of all positions.

Although Mohammed bin Salman’s promotion was expected among close circles it came as a surprise at a time the kingdom is facing heightened tensions with Qatar and Iran and is locked in a war in Yemen.

The royal decree said the decision by King Salman to promote his son and consolidate his power was endorsed by 31 out of 34 members of the Allegiance Council, made up of senior members of the ruling Al Saud family.

Always intent on dispelling speculation of internal divisions in the Al Saud ruling dynasty, Saudi television was quick to show that the change in succession was amicable and supported by the family.

Throughout the early morning it aired footage of Mohammed bin Nayef pledging allegiance to the younger Mohammed bin Salman who knelt and kissed his older cousin’s hand.

“I am content,” Prince Mohammed bin Nayef said. Prince Mohammed bin Salman replied: “We will not give up taking your guidance and advice.”

Analysts said the change ends uncertainty over succession and empowers Prince Mohammed bin Salman to move faster with his plan to reduce the kingdom’s dependence on oil, which includes the partial privatization of state oil company Aramco.

“The change is a huge boost to the economic reform program…Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MbS) is its architect,” said John Sfakianakis, director of the Riyadh-based Gulf Research Center.

Bernard Haykel, professor of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton, said the king’s decision was aimed at avoiding a power struggle between his son and Mohammed bin Nayef by setting the line of succession clearly.

“It’s clearly a transition that has happened smoothly and bloodlessly. Now it’s clear, it’s straightforward. That kind of clarity lowers the risk, there’s no question as to who’s going to be in charge.”

ESCALATING REGIONAL TENSIONS

“Some people were predicting that this would lead to a division in the family and strife and some kind of revolt. I don’t see that happening.”

A senior Saudi official said the decision was taken due to what he called special circumstances presented to the members of the Allegiance Council. He added that Mohammed bin Nayef supported the decision in a letter sent to the king.

The royal decree did not nominate a new deputy crown prince. The position is relatively new in Saudi Arabia where a king has traditionally chosen his own successor.

As deputy crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman has been responsible for running Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen, dictating an energy policy with global implications and spearheading plans for the kingdom to build an economic future after oil.

That the royal succession in the world’s top oil exporter is closely scrutinized only makes the rapidity of Mohammed bin Salman’s rise to power, and the speed with which his better known cousins were brushed aside, more astonishing.

The announcement follows 2-1/2 years of already major changes in Saudi Arabia, which stunned allies in 2015 by launching an air war in Yemen, cutting back on lavish subsidies and proposing in 2016 the partial privatization of state oil company Aramco.

Financial analysts said Prince Mohammed’s promotion gave further assurance that key parts of radical reforms to diversify the Saudi economy beyond oil would continue.

“We do not expect to see any major changes to key areas of policy, including economic,” said Monica Malik, chief economist at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.

Last year Mohammed bin Salman, or “MBS” as he is widely known, announced sweeping changes aimed at ending the kingdom’s reliance to oil, part of his campaign to tackle systemic challenges that the kingdom has previously failed to address.

POWER BEHIND THE THRONE

Until his father Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud became Saudi Arabia’s seventh king in January 2015, few people outside the kingdom had ever heard of Prince Mohammed.

MBS as he is widely known is now Defense Minister, a role that in Saudi Arabia gives its incumbent command of one of the world’s biggest arms budgets and makes him ultimately responsible for Saudi Arabia’s military adventure in Yemen.

He also heads the Council for Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA), a group of cabinet ministers who meet weekly and which oversees all elements of policy that touch on the economy or social issues like education, health and housing.

Prince Mohammed chairs the supreme board of Aramco, making him the first member of the ruling family to directly oversee the state oil company, long regarded as the preserve of commoner technocrats.

But perhaps most importantly, he also holds the critical position of gatekeeper to his father, King Salman, who in Saudi Arabia’s absolute monarchy retains the final say in any major decision of state.

Outside Saudi Arabia, that rapid advance and the sudden changes to longstanding policies on regional affairs, energy and its economy have prompted unease, adding an unpredictable edge to a kingdom that allies long regarded as a known quantity.

Inside, they have prompted admiration among many younger Saudis who regard his ascent as evidence that their generation is taking a central place in running a country whose patriarchal traditions have for decades made power the province of the old.

Saudi Arabia’s stock market surged more than 3 percent in early trade on Wednesday after Prince Mohammed’s promotion was announced.

After 70 minutes of active trade, the stock index .TASI was 3.4 percent higher. National Commercial Bank 1180.SE, the biggest listed lender, which is expected to play a major role in funding some of the non-oil industries which Prince Mohammed aims to develop, was the top gainer and soared 10 percent.

Iran, Saudi Arabia’s main rival for regional influence, called Prince Mohammed’s appointment a “soft coup”.

Iran’s leadership was critical of comments by Prince Mohammed last month that the “battle” should be taken into Iran.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei labeled the Saudi leadership then as “idiots”.

No Country Seems To Have The Political Guts To Control Excessive Oil Price Swings!

Oil prices dip after reaching June highs following U.S. crude stock draw

By Henning Gloystein | SINGAPORE

Oil prices dipped on Thursday but remained near June highs reached the previous session when they were buoyed by a fall in U.S. crude inventories.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil futures were trading at $49.63 per barrel at 0051 GMT, down 20 cents from their last settlement.

International Brent crude futures were down 24 cents at $51.62 per barrel.

Traders said the price dips early on Thursday were largely a result of profit-taking following strong price rises the day before.

Both contracts hit their highest levels since June on Wednesday after the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said crude stockpiles fell 3 million barrels last week to 499.74 million barrels, and as international oil markets prepared for a planned output cut by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

“Another week another surprise draw down in crude inventories by the EIA … Although crude in storage remains at record highs, this is the third week of unexpected draw downs in a row,” said Jeffrey Halley, senior market analyst at brokerage OANDA in Singapore.

He added that WTI prices would likely be “eyeing the psychological $50” soon, although there was the downside risk of shale drillers putting rigs back into operation which were mothballed at lower prices.

Other analysts said that overall market conditions pointed to slightly higher prices, largely due to the planned OPEC cut, but also due to the risk of forced disruptions.

“All in all, oil prices seem headed for higher levels in the coming period,” Global Risk Management said in its quarterly report published this week. It pointed to the risk of “several oil producing countries struggling to increase or even keep production at current levels due to unrest/oil facility wreckage and lack of industry investments”.

U.S. Congress Shows It Cowardliness Once Again

Here in the U.S. we are quite used to having our federal Congressmen and Congresswomen sitting on their hands and doing nothing constructive for the people of the country. Usually it seems that the only thing they can ever agree on is giving themselves pay raises. Both of the national parties are content to play politics as the Nation falls down around them. There is a voting system that they have put into place where they can vote yet not have a record on how they voted on the different issues. They have installed a cowards way out from having any accountability, it is called a “voice vote”. When the Speaker of the House has the whole House of Un-Representatives yell out ‘yea or nay’ to decide if a bill passes ‘the House’. If it does they pass the controversial Bill onto the President for him/her to sign or veto. This way if the President signs the Bill, if the public liked it they can of course say ‘yes, I voted for it.’ Or, if the Bill was signed by the President and the public was upset about the Bill passing the cowards can say’ no I never voted for it.’ This way the President is always going to be the one that one of the political parties can either bad mouth, or congratulate.

Yesterday such a ‘vote’ happened once again. I personally believe that every public official should always have to physically sign off on every Bill that comes across their desk. Yesterday a ‘voice’ vote was taken on the issue of survivors of the 9-11-2001 terrorist attacks here in the States being able to sue the Government of Saudi Arabia being that almost all of the murderers were Saudi. There is the issue also that the U.S. Intelligence community have traced money back to a few members of the Saudi Royal Family. Here in the U.S. you are only allowed to have one wife per man so family sizes tend to be a whole lot smaller than they are in the Islamic world. Here in the U.S. families have far fewer kids, grand-kids, and close cousins, first, second, third and so on. I do not for a moment believe that the top end of the Saudi Royal Family gives a damn about the U.S. people, I believe they are just like most of the other citizens of the Saudi Kingdom, they hate us. But, the top end of their Family do care about their military ties with us and also the fact that they reap billions of dollars every year in oil revenues from their sales to the U.S..

I personally believe that it is wrong for the U.S. citizens to be allowed to sue any Nation for damages unless it is an absolute stated fact that their government was a ‘State’ sponsor of the terrorist event. If the U.S. government has such proof in this case then they should post this information publicly for the whole world to see. If any government is liable for legal damages it should be the government that failed to protect its own citizens. So, in this case if any government should be held liable for this event it should be the U.S. government. Before you get to thinking that I am un-American and all that kind of stuff you need to consider the broader picture that would come from this law suite. If the U.S. government passes this ‘Bill’ then the U.S. government will leave itself open to be sued by citizens of all the wars we are in and have been involved in. Think about it, think about all of the civilians that have been killed as a result of our bombs hitting the wrong places or places where we got bad intelligence reports and we bombed innocent people instead of the ones we thought we were bombing. This is a slippery slope that our government should not go down because it is going to burn us far worse than the few million dollars that the Saudi government could be held liable for. There is also the fact that the Saudi Royal Family has already warned the D.C. politicians that there will be consequences if the ‘Bill’ passes. The first thing that comes to my mind is that first, the Saudi government would not pay it anyway and the second is that they will turn off the oil they sell us and sell it to China and to India instead. Do you see why I call the U.S. Congress men and women cowards? They just don’t want any dirt to come back on them when their cowardliness makes our relations with the Saudi’s go sideways.

Why, Why Is The American Government Committing Treason Against Every American

There are going to be some folks who will be mad at me for insinuating such a thing about our government, some will call me unpatriotic for saying such a thing. Well, honestly, I think that the vast majority of the American People aren’t quite as naive as we were 50 years ago, or even say, one year ago.  I know that I am not the wisest human being to ever walk this planet but I have spent most of my almost 60 years trying to pay attention to reality. We all know by now that there are good and bad people in every profession. There are some professions that we all believe or joke about as being dirty whether it be so or not, like door to door magazine salesmen, used car dealers, bankers, insurance salesmen, NSA personnel, politicians, and oil executives. I have tried to always be completely truthful in everything I write on this site, always to the best of my knowledge and ability, and that is what I am going to do in this article.

Treason, yes treason, that is what I said. The first duty of any government is to keep its people safe. If they forsake this most basic vow, they are guilty of treason against their own people and this is what has been going on now for a very long time. Nothing this bad can last forever without horrible consequences and at any moment all of our lives can be changed in a flash. Back in 1980 I worked at a major U.S. oil company headquarters in Houston Texas in the executive protection field, I learned there just how easily major politicians can be bought and paid for with absolutely no regard for the welfare of the country by either the politician or the company. These actions I witnessed and heard sickened me to my core so I quit and moved many states away from that job.  Some of the things I heard there would make you mad, sick, or just laugh at some of the pure stupidity and out of touch with reality they could be there in their ivory towers.

For many years I have traveled all over the United States many, many, times. I am going to tell you some of the things I have seen and that I know are absolute truth. When you travel through west Texas and you go through the Midland, Odessa area on interstate 20 you are going through the Permian Basin. This is where the best crude oil in the world is at, it is the oil that the rest of the world’s oil is judged by, this is the land that the Bush family worked, lived, and prospered in. If you look out in the fields on each side of the highway especially if you travel at night you will occasionally see vertical lights out in the fields, these are oil drilling rigs digging for the black gold. Does it make any sense to still be drilling? Most folks would say yes I think. But now, if you travel west Texas, Oklahoma, California, Wyoming, or North or South Dakota you will see something that might surprise you, at least at a minimum, even in west Texas, half or more of all the pump jacks are turned off and the new holes that get dug are then capped.

Now, do you ask why? Good question, now I am going to start telling you why I think that you and I and everyone in our country are having our safety sold out, it’s all about money and greed folks. I have some friends in these High Plains areas who work in these fields and have been told the same thing goes on up there, wells get dug, then capped. You probably know of this oil pipeline that Canada and some U.S. companies want to lay pipe for from Canada down to the Gulf Coast but the government won’t approve it because environmental organizations don’t want it running through sensitive land areas in places like Nebraska. Here is a thought, I know for a fact that there are oil refineries in states like Wyoming and Montana, why does the oil pipeline have any need to go all the way to the Gulf Coast, is it so the oil companies can export it? We have been told for decades now that we don’t have the oil  storage or refining capabilities that are needed. Why not? Create more jobs in these western states, build a lot more storage areas and the needed amount of oil refineries there to handle the new oil we are finding on our own land and if Canada want’s to run this joint pipeline adventure into the States there is plenty of unused government land to build these facilities on. These things should have been done many years ago for the reason of National Security, your security, my security, and the security of all of our families have been at stake for years, but we were then and now still being sold out.

Back as far as the early seventies our people learned that we are not and island unto our selves, that events outside of our borders can badly harm us. With the OPEC oil embargo OPEC countries cut way back on what they would sell us because we dared to back Israel. What has our government done to correct this national security issue? What is our current government doing now to correct this major safety issue? The President Obama won’t approve the Canadian pipeline, and he has all but killed the cola industry and the nuclear industry is being phased out, plus there are many, many oil fields that the government won’t give drilling permits for. Where are the new refineries and storage units for all the oil we are producing and the gas we are producing on our own shores, where are they? I know that oil and gas and coal are not the only forms or energy we use in our country, but they are a huge part of it at this time. The U.S. Department of Energy say’s that in 2012 we imported 40% of the oil we consume at this time, 40% folks. In this country we have seen when we  have a 2% down tick in the economy it throws us into a deep recession, at best. Folks, what would happen in this country if say even 30% of that 40% were shut off from us, that would be 12% loss. What would that do to our economy, to everyone’s lives, our jobs, our ability to get to them, also what would the cost of a gallon of gas be then?

If we the people are not the first concern for every one in our government why not? Now I am going to spout a few figures to you that come from the Independent Statistics and Analyst Department of the U.S. Energy Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Energy, from one of their web sites. We (oil companies) are exporting these following items, 1) Crude Oil 2) Crude Oil Products 3) Finished Motor Gasoline 4) Kerosene-Type Jet Fuel 5) Distillate Fuel Oil 6) Residual Fuel Oil 7) Propane/Polypropylene 8) here it just said “oil-oils”.  People, why is our government allowing the sale of any of this outside of our own borders? Their own stats say that we are importing 7.4 M.M.B.D. of crude oil while at the same time we are exporting 1.M.M.B.D., people, why is this being allowed. In the “Interest of National Security” these things could be stopped and corrected, why aren’t they? Money, greed?Treason?

There are many real things that could have been done already to cut down on our imports while they were building the refineries and storage facilities that are needed. Any secure nation is not secure unless it is 100% self-sufficient in its energy requirements with large energy stock piles in case of any type of attack on that country. Folks, we are nowhere near being in a safe zone. Another part of this issue is the fact that we are importing energy from countries that hate us and who are supporting militant groups so that they can attack and kill us all. How ignorant is it that you give the people who want nothing more than to kill you the weapons and the bullets to do it with? That’s what we are doing and have been doing  for decades now, why is our government past and present trying to get us all killed? Is the answer the same as what I witnessed while working for that major oil company in Houston, is it all about power and greed and to hell with the people, it does seem that way to me.

One other quick issue I want to touch on before I close, again the government could have used the “for national security, or at least, for the good of the country” slogan to force these issues, and they do have the power to do exactly that in time of emergencies . Question is, why wait until you have the emergency before you make any plans or take the needed steps to survive the emergency? One of the things the government could have/should be enforcing is much more stringent MPG requirements for at least the past forty years. They have done some work toward it but not nearly enough. Think how much less fuel imports would be if all new cars sold in America were required to get 40 MPG in town and out, no exceptions, and all Pickups and SUV’s were required to get a minimum of 30 MPG in town and out. Why is it not a forced issue that every new vehicle made or sold in America has to be a Hybrid? These things can be done and should have been forced on the car makers decades ago. Would there have to be changes in the design and size of the units, of course. But think about it, if these laws were in effect now and our units were getting these MPG’s now how much of a savings would all of us have at the pump? Think of all the other places that money could be spent to improve our life styles and at the same time stimulate our economy. I will close now with this one very major issue. Our import export deficit is now over a trillion dollars a year and a huge portion is from imported energy. This policy is stupid and dangerous to every one of us. Our governments policies not only give our enemies the weapons they use to kills us with but in so doing, this export deficit is killing the value of our currency making the things we can buy much more expensive because the dollar is so down graded, and this hurts every one of us. So again, why the heck is our government putting every ones lively hood and lives at such risk? Is it as simple as money and greed, because they couldn’t possibly just be this stupid could they?

As I said earlier in this article, there are good and bad people in every occupation, even politics. When I lived in northern Illinois back 30 odd years ago I had a real good Congressman in a man named John Anderson and I am blessed to have an excellent Congressman now in a man named M.D. Phil Roe. I have had contacts with Congressman Roe a few times and I beg you, if you have a good Congressman or Senator, state of federal, please try to communicate these concerns to them before we either end up with a totally crippled country, or were all dead.

What If: All Shipments From OPEC Nations Stop Until The Sunni And Shiite Stop Hating Each other?

The headline is meant to be a philosophical question to you. What do you think would be the result on all of the world stage if Iran/Shiite populations of the Middle-East go to an overt shooting war with Saudi Arabia/Sunni populations of the Middle-East? Then of course there would most likely be the spillover effects. ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas and other Sunni groups like them joining together to fight against the Shiite groups like Hezbollah. If this did happen where would be safe place for a peaceful person to hide anywhere in that region of the world? Who would be able to stop the bloodshed if this civil war were to be carried out on our own shores? The hate that is being shown going on between these two Faith/belief systems is to a measure like Christians and Catholics going to open war simply because the other, is the other. Both believe in the same Father, same Son, and the same Spirit! They should never had war against the other, let God sort us out, if one was more correct than the other let Him be the Judge, not us. Within Islam both of these major Sects believe in the same God as being The God and they believe in the same Prophet, Mohammed. So, do you personally think that it is possible that if this current flare-up between Iran and Saudi Arabia does not cool off soon that there could be overt war between the two? If that were to happen what would happen to all of the worlds markets. Are there any governments globally that can operate if all oil from that region of the globe stops flowing? The world does need to be off the need for all fossil fuels but where is that infrastructure in place at right now? The world needs to wake up, our world is based on profit margins and stock values, not on any Nations abilities to survive! Folks, that is what puts our 100% Capitalist system at a disadvantage. The people whom have the power cherish having the power. Too not feel so would be showing a weakness to the other wolves. Profits are more importance to some than the safety of the Nations and the people who make those profits for them! So again I ask you this question, if OPEC’s nozzle shuts off, what will that cause to happen in your world?

Freaking Out Over Dropping Oil Prices

Many years ago I saw a TV program of “The Jefferson’s” where George the main character had died but 20 years later he got to come back as a ghost so he checked in on his family. The one other part of the program I remember was a little girl coming into the room and she asked him for five dollars so that she could get and ice cream and her dad said “only five dollars”? That line was put into the program for the laugh factor yet those words ring with and obvious truth of the deflation of our own dollar. At the time of this program you could get and ice cream for about 75 cents, now days quite a few of the treats cost between $2.75-3.50, the joke is on ourselves. Fake money, that which we strive and die for all of our lives. When your Pepsi cost $5.00 and your burger cost $15.00 what good is a $8.00 per hour job? Twenty years from now when we are maybe making $11-12.00 per and the Pepsi is $15 and your burger $30 how do survive the real costs of living?

I have believed for a long time now that Deflation is absolutely required within the worlds most industrialized nations which of course includes us here in the U.S.. I believe that the biggest inflation maker in our nation is generated from the very base level of Government, the local level Politicians. These Politicians are the ones who are always needing more revenue and the local home owner is the venue of which they suck from. About 20 or so odd years ago I heard part of and interview of Tom Jones with a lady commentator, I think it was Ms Walters but I’m not positive of that. Mr Jones spoke of the home that he and his wife had lived in for twenty years, he said he paid one million for it twenty years ago but now this same house is now worth ten millions so says the tax collector. Taxes go up, people have to make more money to pay these taxes or one of many different Government agency’s will take “your property” from you. When the prices of houses keep going up it makes it where the majority of people don’t believe they will ever have and actual house of their own. I believe that one of the necessary steps Our Government should do when they are gathering data on everything that breaths and many that don’t is to get rid of the Out Liars and the liars.

Deflation is and absolute requirement that at some point we as a nation will have to live through. Is the dropping oil costs the trigger that topples the phony houses of the .01% who reap fortunes on the bones of those they have crushed beneath them on their unending desire to always have more? If We The People want a more truthful stat on things like average wages or the value of houses in our area I believe the stats people need to always get rid of the Out liars. I believe we would get a better state of the Nation figures if for example on value of houses if the top 10% and the bottom 10% were taken out of the equation you will get a more truthful results. I’m not saying that these people don’t count they do, everyone of them count. But we need more truthful numbers if we want to know what the true state of the Union is we need to get rid of all the obvious Out liars. When the price of a nations fuel is dropping it should be a great thing for business and the people of that nation. Instead the stock market is stumbling because of it. When people lose their jobs the value of the company goes up just like with mergers, then their stock value goes up. Things are backwards in our society folks, deflation of the housing and vehicle markets (as examples) are necessary otherwise the world we are leaving our children will be where they can’t afford toilet paper. The cost of absolutely everything must reach a stage where it’s cost quits going up. If I make $100 per hour but my Pepsi cost $50 and my cheese burger is $90 what good is the $100 per hour? This balloon has got to pop at sometime in the future, is it now? The world oil glut is getting harder to hide, is this the fire cracker that pops the balloon?

O Say Can You See

O Say can you see the Demons in white

Whether in an Office of Oval or Mecca’s moonlight

O how they smile and they grin

While at the ranch they walk holding hands

Their Black Gold is only a means to their ends

To God or to man they are no ones friend

When your God is power and wealth

Your prayers are an abomination to Him

They are only for others consumption

As they try to conceal the Demons within

O say can you see your Master awaits

At the lake filled with fire, eternity, your fate

While it is still day and your night has not yet set

Though evil as you have always been

You shall remain in my prayers

Hoping this horrible fate you escape.
