On 3-3-17 I Reblogged An Article With Serious Misquotes Of Bishop Angaelos Of The Coptic Orthodox Church Of The U.K.

Earlier today I received an email letting me know that one of the articles that I reblogged from one of my readers was filled with mistakes.  I always try to only print articles that are totally the truth and in the four plus years that I have been managing this website this is the first time that I have been informed that something that I reblogged for someone was needed to be deleted because it was filled with errors. I appreciate it very much that a lady from the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom informed me of the errors. Per her request I have permanently deleted that article from this site and I ask that anyone who may have reblogged the article to go into your files and do the same. The correct quote from Bishop Angaelos from a speech of his from this past February 28th of 2017 I am copy pasting below. The young lady from the Bishop’s office was kind enough to email it to me. If you would, please take a moment to read the correct article below.

Comment by His Grace Bishop Angaelos,
General Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom,
on the recent spate of attacks against Coptic Christians in Egypt,
including the recent attacks in Al-Arish, Sinai

28 February 2017

I have now drafted and redrafted this statement numerous times over the past weeks, wanting to say something about the deadly attacks experienced by Coptic Christians in Egypt on a daily basis, yet every time I do, there seems to be a new and often more horrifying attack that needs to be addressed. In the past three months alone forty Coptic Christians have been murdered in targeted attacks in Egypt. From the terrorist bombing on St Peter’s Coptic Church in Cairo that claimed the lives of twenty nine mainly women and children, to the murders of individuals across the country since, the one common denominator is that these innocent children, women and men have had their lives brutally and tragically ended for no other reason except that they are Christians.

Incitement by terrorist groups that calls for the killing of Christians in Egypt has spiralled over the past weeks to the extent that lists of churches and individuals have now been released as desirable targets.

While persecution is nothing new for the Coptic community, this escalation of attacks over the past months, culminating in the most recent murders of seven Christians in Al-Arish, has resulted in the displacement of hundreds forced to leave their generations-old homes in North Sinai.

These horrific attacks have gone largely unnoticed by the international community, but Copts continue to suffer tragic violations daily. The attacks against them are anti-Christian and religiously-motivated, demonstrated in many cases by the circulation of flyers within villages urging Christians to ‘leave or die’. Similar events have tragically occurred far too often over the past years, and there is unfortunately little deterrent to prevent them from reoccurring.

In our fast moving world that is filled with so much news of tragedy, war and death, it is all too easy for atrocities to become ‘incidents’, and for individuals suffering them to become mere statistics, very quickly pushed aside by the next item of news. In the eyes of the perpetrators they are a viable target, and in the eyes of the world they become a regrettable phenomenon; yet what is actually left behind is traumatised individuals, families and communities that have lost loved ones, living the reality of themselves being targeted.

While Coptic Christians have been particularly targeted they have always remained peaceful and opted for non-retaliation. Exceeding this already admirable stance, they have even proceeded to forgive their perpetrators. After the destruction of over 100 places of Christian ministry and worship in August of 2013, the bombing of various churches across the country in the last decade, and the targeted killing of clergy, families, women and children, purely for their Faith, the community and individuals within it remain non-violent and resilient. Despite their being condemnation of these attacks by national government and authorities, there is yet to be a consistent robust and fair implementation of these same sentiments more regionally and locally.

In communicating over the past weeks with various brothers and sisters in Egypt, what becomes immediately apparent is that this community that continues to witness its Faith with integrity and strength despite the hurdles it faces, desires to live with dignity in its indigenous homeland.

It must also be mentioned that Coptic Christians are not alone in facing these attacks, as scores of Egyptian civilians, soldiers and police officers have lost their lives as a result of this wave of terrorist activity.

We pray for those suffering terrorism and violence, for God to grant them peace and reassurance that they are not forgotten by Him or by all those who not only witness their plight but strive to advocate for them. We also pray for those in positions of authority and influence that they may be advocates for all those entrusted into their care. Finally, and not of least importance we pray for those who perpetrate these crimes, that they once again become conscious of the true value of every life that appears to be dispensable in their eyes.

Jordan Executes 15 Terrorists

Jordan Executes 15 Terrorists

Jordan

Amman – Jordan executed 15 people on Saturday morning, including 10 convicted on terrorism charges, according to government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani.

Momani told state media that those executed included those involved in the “Irbid terror cell”, and the terror attack against the General Intelligence Department office in Baqaa refugee camp.

Other crimes included the assassination of columnist Nahed Hattar, terror bomb attack on Jordan’s Embassy in Baghdad in 2003, and the terrorist attack against foreign tourists visiting the Roman amphitheater in Amman.

The men were hanged at Swaqa Prison.

Five of the criminals were involved in an assault by security forces on a militant hideout by suspected ISIS militants in Irbid city in the same year that led to the death of seven militants and one police officer in 2016. They were: Ashraf Beshtawi, Fadi Beshtawi, Imad Delki, Faraj al-Sharif, and Mohammed Delki.

Mahmoud Hussein Masharfa was the executor of the terrorist attack in June 2016 against the General Intelligence Department office in Baqaa refugee camp.

Riyad Ismail Abdullah was executed for assassinating Hattar in September 2016. While, Muammar al-Jaghbir was executed after his conviction in terror bomb attack on Jordan’s Embassy in Baghdad in 2003.

Nabil Ahmad al-Jaoura was convicted for the terrorist attack against foreign tourists visiting the Roman amphitheater in Amman which led to the death of a British tourist in 2006.

Momani added: “This is an attempt to bring justice to the victims of those terrorists who threatened our national security. Anyone who will dare engage in terrorist activities against Jordan will face the same destiny.”

Human rights group Amnesty International condemned the executions by hanging saying they were carried out in secrecy and without transparency.

Samah Hadid, deputy director at Amnesty International’s Beirut regional office, said, “The horrific scale and secrecy around these executions is shocking.”

Amnesty is against capital punishment regardless of the criminal, his crime or whether he was innocent or not, and the execution method.

Amnesty said in a statement earlier: “Jordan had for years been a leading example in a region where recourse to the death penalty is all too frequent.”

In December 2014, 11 men were executed after the capital punishment had been frozen in Jordan since March 2006.

In February 2015, Jordan executed Sajida Rishawi and Ziad al-Karboli. The two inmates were hanged a day after the release of a video showing the killing of Jordanian pilot Muath Kasasbeh by ISIS.

Rishawi was convicted by the State Security Court in September 2006 of plotting terror attacks against three hotels in Amman in November 2005, which had left more than 60 people dead and around 90 injured.

Karboli was convicted of killing a Jordanian truck driver in Iraq in September 2005, possessing explosives as well as belonging to an illegal al-Qaeda-affiliated organization called Tawhid and Jihad.

Over 100 people, including around 10 women, are currently on death row in Jordan.

Jordan is part of the US-led coalition against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

Pakistani Military Kill More Than 100 Jihadist One Day After ISIS Murder 81 Worshipers In Sufi Shrine

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF THE HINDUSTAN TIMES)

More than 100 militants were killed in a sweeping crackdown launched by Pakistani security forces a day after a suicide attack claimed by the Islamic State left 81 dead at a crowded Sufi shrine.Thursday’s attack at the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Sindh province was preceded by suicide attacks in Lahore and the northwest. The surge of violence that has claimed more than 100 lives in a week has shaken the confidence of Pakistanis after a recent improvement in the security situation.

The attacks also came at a time when Pakistan’s civil and military leadership had been congratulating itself for defeating terrorism across the country. Army chief Gen Qamar Bajwa pledged to avenge the deaths and said there would be “no more restraint for anyone”.

Crackdown targets militant groups across the country

The army and paramilitary forces launched operations in Karachi and other parts of Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces and the tribal areas. “Over 100 terrorists have been killed since last night and sizeable apprehensions also made,” said a statement from the military’s media arm.

Eighteen militants were killed in different parts of Karachi alone since Thursday night and scores were arrested in different cities.

Afghan embassy officials were called to the army headquarters in Rawalpindi and asked to hand over 76 terrorists “hiding in Afghanistan”, military spokesman Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor tweeted. The border with Afghanistan was also closed for security reasons, he added.

The death toll in the suicide bombing at the Sufi shrine at Sehwan in Sindh province rose to 81 on Friday and more than 250 people were admitted to different hospitals, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.

Amaq news agency, which is affiliated to the IS, claimed the attack. The shrine attracts large crowds on Thursdays and the suicide bomber struck when thousands had gathered for ‘dhamaal’, a Sufi ritual of singing and dancing.

Questions raised on military’s claims about wiping out militant groups

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said he would do everything in his power to protect the country but people questioned how terrorism had raised its head again after claims that the military operation in the tribal areas had wiped out most militant groups.

The military began its operations in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas and in Karachi in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Former army chief, Gen Raheel Sharif, had declared two years of success and said Pakistan was safer as a result of the campaign. Violence-related fatalities dropped from 7,611 in 2014 to 4,653 in 2015 to about 2,560 in 2016, and observers agreed the overall security situation had improved significantly.

But this week, all claims of success were turned on their head. Though the Pakistan Army has asked Afghanistan to hand over terrorists hiding in its territory, analysts believe this isn’t the solution.

“We cannot keep on insisting the problem is elsewhere. It is here. It is in our midst,” said security analyst Hasan Askari Rizvi. Others such as analyst Ayesha Siddiqa pointed to the proliferation of militant groups in southern Punjab and upper Sindh. Hundreds of madrassas have been established by militant groups, which use them to recruit and train young men and collect funds.

No operations in Sindh or Punjab

Despite repeated promises, the federal government has not allowed any operation in upper Sindh or southern Punjab because many of the militant groups are patronised by elements in the ruling PML-N party.

“A number of sectarian and extremist organisations are political allies of the PML-N,” Rizvi said.

The military is ready to start a sweep and even announced its intention to do so after the suicide attack in the heart of Lahore on Monday. But the military also patronises other militant groups which are used to launch attacks into India and to aid in security operations in Balochistan.

“Because there is a difference of opinion on whom to arrest and who to let go, the operation against militants remains a non-starter,” said Rizvi.

Thursday’s suicide bombing was also the biggest attack claimed by the IS. Most of the other attacks this week were claimed by the Taliban. The government has denied the IS has a presence in Pakistan and its links with other groups such as the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, which mainly targets Shias.

Main opposition Pakistan People’s Party leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said the government had miserably failed to eradicate terrorism. “It’s very easy to criticise the government of the PPP but the present government has protected terrorists,” he said.

Siraj-ul-Haq of the right wing Jamaat-e-Islami party said the government “appeared helpless”. He said the terrorists had shown “they can attack anywhere and at any time”.

Pakistanis fear violence could spiral out of control

Ordinary Pakistanis were fearful that the situation was again spiralling out of control just when things seemed to getting better. The terrorism could also have an impact on the economy, which had shown some signs of recovery.

Angry relatives of those who were killed in Thursday’s attack surrounded the chief minister’s motorcade in Sehwan and accused the provincial government of corruption and incompetence. The father of a girl killed in the attack told chief minister Murad Ali Shah that no help was available for several hours and his daughter died as she did not get medical attention.

A number of people turned to social media to express their anger with the poor security arrangements at most public places. In a tweet, Dr Waqar Abidi said: “Nawaz Sharif himself is a security risk.”

There is also growing anger at the government’s inability to implement the National Action Plan devised in 2014 to combat terrorism after a deadly attack on an army-run school in Peshawar killed more than 130 children. Analyst Sajjad Haider said the delay in fully implementing a plan agreed on by all stakeholders was unforgivable,

“It shows that the priorities of the Nawaz Sharif government do not include fighting terrorism,” he said.

Syria: Once Again The U.S. Is In A War We Should Not Be In!

Once again the U.S. finds itself in a war that we have no business being in. This time it is the Civil War in Syria. When a country has a Civil War all other Nations should keep their noses their money and their people out of it. A Civil War is an internal war, a war between the people/government within that particular country. Was the kick-start of the so-called ‘Arab Spring’ really started when the U.S. decided to remove Saddam in Iraq? Did this ‘kick start’ the idea within the ‘Arab world’ that they too might be able to remove their own dictators? Do not get me wrong, I am no fan of dictators, I am no fan of any violence no matter whom is committing it. Yet if we step back to 1979, I am not fan of the former Shaw of Iran either. The U.S. has a history of propping up such despicable ‘leaders’ via giving them military aid and training which they use to murder their own people with, then we tend to wonder why the people of those countries hated us. Why can’t we assist a dictator with humanitarian aid? Why couldn’t we help these leaders with means of doing things to help their people to grow their own food, improve their power grids and to make their own cars? Why must we always ‘help’ them with guns, bombs, tanks and military jets?

Our foreign policy decisions have fed the wrath of the people of many Nations. Our foreign policy issues have been particularly damaging toward the relations with people who by their Religious beliefs hate our Nation, our people. Obviously I am speaking today of the people who believe in Islam. For the past five years the country of Syria has been fighting a civil war and it is a war that we were/are wrong for being involved in. Our policies in Iraq and in Syria have helped in the creating of the group of mass murderers we call ISIS here in the States. Our Government has hated the al-Assad Regime there in Syria for decades and our Government Leaders (President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton) decided to help the ‘Rebels’ to over through that Government when their Civil War started. We have spent several billion dollars and some of our own blood in this horrible war. We say we are fighting ISIS there with our bombing raids which is the least that we can do being our policies helped this group get their foothold there. When Russia’s President Putin decided to back their Allie there in Syria as any sane person should have known they would, it made it an ‘unwinnable’ war for the U.S.. Russia, Syria, and the U.S. are trying to kill off all of the ISIS fighters yet we are not supposed to be trying to kill any Syrian troops directly with our bombs like we did about a week ago when we killed over 80 Syrian troops. That event was the beginning of the end of the ‘humanitarian aid truce’.

The U.S. is involved in a war that can not be won there in Syria as the ‘President’ Mr. al-Assad with the aid of President Putin is going to remain in power no matter what the U.S. or the UN wish. All of the military players in Syria today have mixed agendas with mixed Allies. In almost all of the issues there are proxy wars being fought within this Civil War but the single biggest issue is the Islamic Civil War that has been raging for almost 1,400 years. This is the Civil War between the two main factions of Islam, the Sunni’s and the Shiite’s. Arab and Persian Country’s are divided via those two sects of Islam and they always will be until one kills of and or enslaves the other. Russia has for many decades had a large Naval Base in Syria and has been their Allie, we were ignorant to think that Russia would not step in to help them. The President of Syria is a Shiite so the other Shiite Countries are backing him. This includes Iran, Iraq and Lebanon via Hezbollah. The Sunni Countries fighting against Syria include Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and the UAE. There are many other players involved there also, like the Kurd’s of Northern Iraq and Eastern Turkey.

There is no way for the U.S. to stay in this war and not lose face in the Sunni Arab world just as getting out of it that won’t make our Government ‘lose face’ also. Simply put, we should never ever have gotten involved in training ‘rebels’ and or supplying them. What we have done is to Allie ourselves with the Sunni faction of Islam against the Shiite Syrian Government while the Russian Government has aligned themselves with the Shiite faction of that religion. Also, there is the fact that everyone there is fighting against the Sunni ISIS mass murderers. The U.S. opened the floodgates for a group like ISIS to step through with our very failed policies in Iraq and in Syria. These mistakes are directly at the feet of the Republican President George W. Bush and the Democratic President Barack Obama. There is also the reality that the Shiite sect of Islam would form their own version of ISIS if they could but it is more difficult for them to do so as they are only about 20% of Islam, the Sunni are the other 80%. As far as world peace goes though one must understand that even though these two sects hate each other they hate all the ‘infidels’ even more. In case you are unaware of it the word infidel means ‘unbeliever’, as on not a believer of Islam. As I have said to you very plainly, this Civil War in Syria is one that the U.S. can not win unless we commit to an all our nuclear war against Russia and the Arab/Persian people who I hope that our so-called Leaders aren’t stupid enough to do. So, what are the options of the U.S. Government when it comes to our military actions in Syria? I personally believe that there is no way to not infuriate the Saudi Royal Family no matter what we do or don’t do but I believe that once ISIS is ran out of Syria our Government must stop all its actions there and declare the Syrian Government the winner. This will be a great victory for President Putin of Russia but it is our own Government that facilitated this result in the first place.

Pro Hezbollah News Papers: Read So That You Can Learn From Their Hate Of You

Opinions are good to read even if they do not agree with your own, sometimes those opinions are far more important for you to read because you can learn more from them.

Special Dispatch   COURTESY OF MEMRI NEWS AGENCY
Board Chairman Of Pro-Hezbollah Daily: Kill Every Armed American Outside Of The U.S., Expel All Americans From Our Countries September 19, 2016 Special Dispatch No.6617

On September 19, 2016, following of reports that American forces have entered Northern Syria, Ibrahim Al-Amin, board chairman of the pro-Hezbollah Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar, published a virulent article titled “For Us, The Americans Are Murderers And Thieves Who Must Be Resisted.” In it, Al-Amin attacked the U.S., which he claimed occupies Iraq and now Syria as well, and called to kill every armed American outside the U.S. and expel all “American functionaries,” including diplomats, civil society activists and academics, from Arab countries.

The following is a translation of the article:[1]
Ibrahim Al-Amin (image: Siyese.net)

“It is the ‘right’ of the Americans – the government, the people, and the institutions – to not learn from their experience in maintaining relations with the other people’s of the world. However, the problem lies in the fact that some of our own people do not wish to learn [either], and continue to rely on this group of murderers and thieves. What can be done with such people? Nothing. But every time, and in more than one place in the world, and in every generation, there is a group that realizes that the only way to deal with an arrogant murderer is by using own method, logic, and language.

“The U.S. does not suffice with reoccupying Iraq, but has decided to expand its conquest to Syria. The excuse it uses [to convince] itself is understandable, since all the elements it tasked with toppling the Syrian state, harming the resistance, and preventing any substantial change in the region have failed.

“OK. It can do what it sees fit. But we too must do what suits us. We must shoot any American carrying arms outside the U.S., without considering the reason for his presence [outside the U.S.] and whether it is the result of a request by some element or another. This is an occupying force that must be resisted with bullets and fire.

“We will [also] expel all official American functionaries: diplomats, administrators, academics, and especially the peace-lovers, human rights and civil society [activists], and particularly the heads of civil society organizations. [Additionally,] we will expel anyone who interacts with them, whether directly or indirectly. This is just a handful of thieves who will not be swayed by words, requests, and even rebukes. They only understand the language of fire and iron.

“We have no method other than to expel the American occupation from our countries, whether it is military, security, diplomatic, or some other [type of occupation]. We will kill them and expel them and distance them from us. Whoever wants them present will have to pay the price of their filth.”

Is The Pope Actually As Ignorant As His Words Are Saying He Is?

I am not a Catholic, but I am a Christian. I do not believe that the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church is stupid nor ignorant, at least I hope that he isn’t. I know that as a ‘religious leader’ of a ‘Christ based’ faith the Pope is suppose to be kind, good, and welcoming to all people of the Earth. Peace and love are the hallmarks of God’s teachings so the Pope is correct in his inviting of all persons out of war torn countries and into country’s that are not ‘war torn’. But, at the same time you show wisdom in the protection of your family, your country, and the Church. In pretty much any other circumstance Pope Francis would be correct in welcoming the Muslim and Persian people from North Africa and the Middle-East into Europe and the rest of the civilized world as to not do so would be cruel and racists. But if the Pope does not understand the difference of this situation compared to, for example, free travel between members of EU country’s then he is quite ignorant.

I have stated my opinions on racism several times in articles that I have written here on this site throughout the years. I believe that any form of racism is evil and that evil will get a person condemned at their judgement before the Throne of Christ. If I, you, the Pope, or anyone else are anti-Muslim or Persian people, then we are being racist and this is a sin that will be held against our charge. I do not believe for even one moment that Pope Francis is a racist person. As I said earlier that in any other circumstance Pope Francis would be correct in trying to get all country’s on Earth to open their doors to these war refugees, but not in this case. If the Pope really thinks that what he is saying to the public is correct, then he is an idiot. If he does’t believe what he is saying, then he is being a liar. For anyone, especially a ‘Religious Leader’ to be a liar or an idiot is not a good thing. I will not judge the Pope on which one he is being, that is God’s job, not mine.

In both of the previous paragraphs I have referred to this particular circumstance as being different than any other circumstance. The reason that Pope Francis is wrong in his trying to get Europe and the rest of the world to allow in these refugees is not because they are Muslim people, Persian people, or even African people. The color of their skin has nothing at all to do with anything. The issue is what has saturated these people between their ears, and that issue is Islam! This ‘religion’ has been around for almost 1,400 years and for it’s whole existence including right from it’s inception it is and has always been a religion of hate, murder and conquest. Ever since their ‘prophet’ Mohammad was still alive he participated in the extermination of all people and all other faiths in every country this disease has spread to. As most of you know the word Islam means ‘submission’ as in total submission to the will of Allah. Any who will not submit are to be killed. Believers are ordered to infiltrate a country, grow strong from within, then attack and destroy until that country has only one faith, Islam. Any country who lets believers of this ‘faith’ in among their people are inviting their own murderers within their own homes. Some people, those who haven’t read or studied their scriptures or paid any attention to world history over the past 1,400 years, will say that I am being Islamophobic. I am telling you, wake up, read, and learn because it is you who are being ignorant. Read the Quran which is ‘the words’ of the prophet Mohammad, read the real Islamic holy book, the Hadith, which is ‘the actions’ of the prophet Mohammad. The play book for your destruction is laid out in black and white, it is you who are being ignorant and it will cost you your country, your way of life, and your life. So, is the Pope being ignorant? Read, learn, then make an intelligent decision instead of an un-knowledgeable one.

U.S. Congress Shows It Cowardliness Once Again

Here in the U.S. we are quite used to having our federal Congressmen and Congresswomen sitting on their hands and doing nothing constructive for the people of the country. Usually it seems that the only thing they can ever agree on is giving themselves pay raises. Both of the national parties are content to play politics as the Nation falls down around them. There is a voting system that they have put into place where they can vote yet not have a record on how they voted on the different issues. They have installed a cowards way out from having any accountability, it is called a “voice vote”. When the Speaker of the House has the whole House of Un-Representatives yell out ‘yea or nay’ to decide if a bill passes ‘the House’. If it does they pass the controversial Bill onto the President for him/her to sign or veto. This way if the President signs the Bill, if the public liked it they can of course say ‘yes, I voted for it.’ Or, if the Bill was signed by the President and the public was upset about the Bill passing the cowards can say’ no I never voted for it.’ This way the President is always going to be the one that one of the political parties can either bad mouth, or congratulate.

Yesterday such a ‘vote’ happened once again. I personally believe that every public official should always have to physically sign off on every Bill that comes across their desk. Yesterday a ‘voice’ vote was taken on the issue of survivors of the 9-11-2001 terrorist attacks here in the States being able to sue the Government of Saudi Arabia being that almost all of the murderers were Saudi. There is the issue also that the U.S. Intelligence community have traced money back to a few members of the Saudi Royal Family. Here in the U.S. you are only allowed to have one wife per man so family sizes tend to be a whole lot smaller than they are in the Islamic world. Here in the U.S. families have far fewer kids, grand-kids, and close cousins, first, second, third and so on. I do not for a moment believe that the top end of the Saudi Royal Family gives a damn about the U.S. people, I believe they are just like most of the other citizens of the Saudi Kingdom, they hate us. But, the top end of their Family do care about their military ties with us and also the fact that they reap billions of dollars every year in oil revenues from their sales to the U.S..

I personally believe that it is wrong for the U.S. citizens to be allowed to sue any Nation for damages unless it is an absolute stated fact that their government was a ‘State’ sponsor of the terrorist event. If the U.S. government has such proof in this case then they should post this information publicly for the whole world to see. If any government is liable for legal damages it should be the government that failed to protect its own citizens. So, in this case if any government should be held liable for this event it should be the U.S. government. Before you get to thinking that I am un-American and all that kind of stuff you need to consider the broader picture that would come from this law suite. If the U.S. government passes this ‘Bill’ then the U.S. government will leave itself open to be sued by citizens of all the wars we are in and have been involved in. Think about it, think about all of the civilians that have been killed as a result of our bombs hitting the wrong places or places where we got bad intelligence reports and we bombed innocent people instead of the ones we thought we were bombing. This is a slippery slope that our government should not go down because it is going to burn us far worse than the few million dollars that the Saudi government could be held liable for. There is also the fact that the Saudi Royal Family has already warned the D.C. politicians that there will be consequences if the ‘Bill’ passes. The first thing that comes to my mind is that first, the Saudi government would not pay it anyway and the second is that they will turn off the oil they sell us and sell it to China and to India instead. Do you see why I call the U.S. Congress men and women cowards? They just don’t want any dirt to come back on them when their cowardliness makes our relations with the Saudi’s go sideways.

Personal Human Safety: Is There Such A Thing Here On Earth

Safety is there really such a thing here in this world? I guess that it is true that safety just like beauty can be just in the eye of the beholder. Then again is the term safe actually dependent on the subject matter? There is the concept of physical safety, or safety for your financial wealth whether in your cash, stocks, or bonds. But tonight I am speaking mainly about the physical safety of yourself and your loved ones. For many thousands of years now millions of human beings have used different types of drugs to escape their physical reality. Sometimes people use these drugs whether God-given ones such as in plants and herbs or ones that are man-made in laboratory’s. So often people seek an inner peace or euphoria so that they can escape the living hell they face each day here on Earth. The hellish conditions we see on Earth are all man-made for the only true hell we have to fear is the one that separates us from God Himself after our deaths. Life without putting our Creator first is a life that we all should fear every second we breath for no ones next breath is guaranteed. Fear, if we are ignorant enough to not fear Hell itself then we are truly both ignorant and stupid. Earth, the place where the Devil and his tens of thousands of dark Angels roam freely is not a place where physical safety for any human exists.

Within the first few verses of the 5th chapter of the book of Job in the Bible you read about one of Job’s friends named Eliphaz who was trying to be wise in his speech about the torments Job was going through. Eliphaz spoke to Job in this manner when he said “for wrath kills the foolish man and envy slays the silly one. I have seen the foolish take root and I cursed his habitation. His foolish children are far from being safe and they are crushed in the gate and there is none to deliver them. For man is born unto trouble, as the flames fly upward (from Hell)”.

In the fourth chapter of the Book of Psalms Israel’s King David wrote, ” But know that the Lord has set apart him that is Godly for Himself: The Lord will hear when I call unto Him. Stand in awe and sin not: Commune with God in your heart upon your bed and be still. I will lay me down in peace and sleep: for you O Lord and you alone make me dwell in safety. Offer your sacrifices of righteousness and put your trust in the Lord.” The Apostle Paul when he was writing his letter to the Church in the third chapter of the Book of Philippians he wrote; ” My brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write these same things to you is not grievous to me, but for you it is safe. Beware of dogs, beware of workers of evil, beware of the mutilations. Yes doubtless I count all things for loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord for whom I have suffered the loss of all my Earthly things, and do count them as dung, that I may win Christ and be found in Him. Not having my own righteousness, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

Here in this twenty-first century A.D. it would be so nice if we in our own lives could truly live in physical safety. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if no one ever did any harm to themselves or to anyone else? What if there was no such thing as hatred, jealousy, ego’s or murder? We all know in our hearts and minds that this is not the current situation that we all live in today. Friends as long as the Devil, his Angels, and those ignorant enough to follow him roam the surface of the Earth, no one is safe, everyone is under attack, even if we are unaware of it.

Throughout the Scriptures we are told many times to walk our lives in meekness and humility. God tells us to put others before ourselves. We are told it is better to sit in the back of a congregation and to be brought forward that to be one that puts themselves in the front just so we can be moved to the back.  Ego my friends, pride and lust, these are spiritual and physical traps laid before all of us in today’s society. In this time we are all living in we have as a culture gone beyond being a me first generation of the 1980’s. Today we have degenerated into a culture of a ‘me only’ life style. For those poor people who believe that there is no such thing as a ‘here after’, that there is no such thing as God, I feel so sad for them. To think that this life is all there is and that this life is all that matters is so sad.

Take a moment and look around the world today, so many people are filled with hatred and so much blood is being spilled in wars and in our own streets. There is a term used a lot in the World Court called ethnic cleansing that is truly a world-wide disgrace. Often throughout world history this has been done toward people because of race issues and culture issues yet the worse of these are ones that are dictated by a religion, this shows the pure evil that is this religion. We all live in a world of sadness where thousands of people die everyday whether by their own hand or by the hand of a murderer or even by starvation for there is no such thing as physical safety today. Friends there is no place on this planet that is truly a safe haven from evil, there is no place for anyone to hide. Even at the Vatican in Rome Italy the Pope has built high thick walls and employees many guards and has many escape tunnels. We humans try to keep ourselves and our families and our Countries safe but there is no such a place. Folks, not until Jesus the Christ returns in what is called the Second Advent when He Himself and His Angels put an end to this current evil system of things will there be true safety but even then, only for those who stayed faithful to Him unto the end.

I am going to close tonight with the words of the Apostle Paul that he wrote in the Book of Philippians chapter 2 verses 10, 11, 14 and 15. “At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, the things in Heaven and the things on the Earth and the things under the Earth. And every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father. Do all things without complaining and disputing. That you may be blameless, the Sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse Nation among whom you will shine as lights in the world.” For it is a truth that safety can only be found in faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.”

Why Is The British Government Not Doing All It Can To Stop Homegrown Terrorism

Again today I see on my Google News Homepage an article from CNN about Scotland Yard’s concerns about hundreds of Brits who are returning from Syria who have been training with ISIS. Now I know that I am not the brightest bulb in the package but I have a question about this situation? Why is it that Briton or any other country for that matter feel obligated not to cancel these people’s Passports as soon as their feet hit the ground in Syria? Why is it that Briton, your country, or my country, is somehow required to let these traders and mass murders back into their old neighborhoods? Why can’t our government, British government, or yours, be allowed to protect its own citizens by arresting these people the second their repatriated brimstone feet touch OUR soil? You can stop most of the homegrown security risks if you deport and cancel these people’s Visas and Passports. Is the British Government without the legal right to cancel the Passports of these returning traitors or even the right/obligation to protect its own citizens by doing so? Why is it that these people are allowed back into our neighborhoods? Why is it that the Government doesn’t arrest them as soon as they step foot on our soil? Maybe you know the answers to these thoughts, I’m just old and confused I guess.

Islam And Dictators

Islam and Dictators

As most people know the world experienced an event called “The Arab Spring” just a few years ago. The event started when a man through exasperation of the inequalities that were laid upon his life decided to end his life by setting himself on fire. This tragic event started an uprising of the people wanting freedom who spread across North Africa and the Middle East. The people of these countries raised up together to challenge their countries leaders in unprecedented numbers. The results of these uprisings do vary but it would be lying to say that these countries and their people are now living in peace.

The United States government has been involved in this region of the world since before I was born (I am almost 60). Their adventures attributes or lack there of can easily be argued long and loud from the Arab people’s point of view, their governments point of view, and the American people’s points of view. Many Americans are sick and tired of our country being the “world’s policeman” but just as cops on the street can be good and/or evil our country has often lacked moral ethics in how they performed their activities. But just as different Arab countries leaders and their people like and dislike things our government has done that has touched their lives, I would just like to share with you that just as you and your countries government’s do not always see eye to eye with each other, that the American people do not always back what our government in doing in regards to events that affect you and your lives.

Most of the American people I believe before 1972-73 knew little about anything that was to do with your countries. I was a teenager during that time and I was in the American military (1977) before I ever heard of the Shah of Iran, I am not sure that I had ever heard of the country of Iran before the events of his departure from your country. The more that I paid attention to the events concerning the Shah and our countries involvement the more it sickened me about things our country had done to the people of Iran. As just about anyone and everyone should know by now the American government was playing a deadly game with Russia during those “cold war” years. Both countries governments used other countries like pawns in a chess game not caring about the collateral damage their actions were putting upon the people of these countries.

The American government installed and supported many evil people, even crazy people (Saddam), giving them many weapons which the tyrants used against their own people. I am going to step back to Iran in the 1978 era when the people of Iran was able to get rid of one Tyrant to unfortunately have an even more evil person step into the leadership of their country. I know that statement will get some people mad but to be honest about things, here in America we have had many evil people in all different levels and departments of our government including some very evil Presidents including these last two. The Shah was a very evil person but after his departure, you the people, got locked into a government that is one of the most evil the world has ever known.

Libya, as most everyone knows is one of the countries that had a horrible lunatic for a leader who you the people, with some outside help from Jihad organizations was able to overthrow. But you the people have now got a living situation that is very dangerous for all of it’s citizens with so many armed groups fighting for more control. I am glad that this was one leader that wasn’t one of the CIA puppets because he was a horrible non-humanitarian leader. Our government propped up dictators from the Philippines to Central America to Africa to the Middle East. It Saddens me as an American and as a loving heart Christian that our government did some of the things to you that they did but it is not like we the people of America condoned our governments actions.

Syria, their President is the only leader that it seems is going to remain in office but only because he was able to get foreign help from nations like Russia and Iran and terrorist groups like Hezbollah. The cost of this failed Civil War is hundreds of thousands of people are dead with probably that many and more wounded. There is also the factor of how to go forward as a nation. There is many billions of dollars of damage to businesses and homes and the factor of the human cost of getting that country back to a functional condition is going to take several years.

The United States as you know involved themselves militarily in Afghanistan and Iraq after the 9-11-2001 attacks here in America. I believe that going into Afghanistan was a legitimate action. But when our government went into Iraq in March of 2003 to get Saddam this was an unconstitutional act, thus and illegal action by our President. I try to always be honest and fair in all that I do and say, but in doing this it seems like I get most everyone mad at me. Thus saying, I personally believe that our President at the time, George W Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld are all three guilty of War Crimes and should all three be behind bars right now. Now, if you fast forward to today, look at all the sectarian violence in Iraq and in Afghanistan with the government trying to get the Taliban murderers to become part of that government. Besides cutting off the figurehead of Al-Qaeda on May 2nd of 2011 what did all the blood and all the billions of dollars accomplish for the lives of their average countryman?

Egypt is the last country that I am going to focus on tonight because I am not trying to create a manuscript out of this post. The people of Egypt throughout history for the most part are now and have always been a great people even though they have had many Rulers who used and abused them. Ever since your President Anwar Sadat was murdered by Islamist traders, you the people had been saddled with a Dictator/President who you finally overthrew about three years ago. When you, the people of Egypt were doing your rallies there in the Square in Cairo the Western media kept interviewing protesters from the square pointing out to us viewers how it was the educated class of people who were the protesters. They would often say how the side streets and alleys were jammed with people but these reporters did not go into those side streets and alleys because of security issues. I knew even then that the Islamist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood were more than happy to let the School Teachers, Doctors, and Lawyer types be the one’s speaking to the foreign press while they waited in the back streets hoping that the President would be run out of office. When President Mubarak was removed by the Military and elections were set in place I had no doubt who would win and then the people of Egypt who voted in The Brotherhood would see first hand how they now had another tyrant leading their country. To the praise of the majority of the people the people realized how badly they had been lied to and how inept these Islamist leaders were and once again with the help of your Military you brought down yet another Dictator.

There is a common thread that runs throughout the Muslim part of the world and that of course is the Islamic faith. I know that it sounds horrible but the pattern of governments that have come and gone and come again to your countries has been where a Military backed Dictator has ruled your country or you had a Religious Leader rule your country. The debate for your countries has been a case of which one is going to be the most cruel toward the population. It has seemed that the only situation where the lazy, uneducated, hate filled Islamist fundamentalists who allow the population no basic human rights or freedom of expression is when a Military backed Dictator has been your countries ruler.

It is and has been my belief for a long time now that the only way that people can have freedom in their country is if they remove the tyrant themselves. How Egypt has gotten rid of their last two Presidents has worked but it always comes down to where the loyalty of the nation’s Military is. Muslim countries who prefer to have a so-called Religious Leader as their ruler it is up to you to see that He or She is acting toward the populous with caring and love for the people. Proof that these so-called “Clerics” like the people of Iran are enslaved by are a horrible choice for National Leadership has been proven to the people of your country’s time and time again. The people of your countries are to this day wrapped up in constant violence and almost all of this violence is directly to do with the Islamic Faith in how people choose to interpret your Holy Books words. Personally, I believe that God can choose to kill or let live whomever He chooses and that He does not need anyone’s help to kill or harm anyone. If God wants you or I dead, if He really is God, He can just speak it or wish it so and it will be so. Anyone who uses a Religion to kill or harm another person is themselves a Servant of Satan. If you really believe that the One you call God says for you to do these things, you very much need to examine Who it is that you are worshiping because it sure isn’t a God. God is peace and love, not hate and killing. I from the depths of my heart wish peace and prosperity and love to each and every one of you. I do pray for you everyday because there is so much hate and violence that surrounds you and your families daily, shalom.
