Here Is A Bible Lesson About The Temple Mount And It’s Importance

Here Is A Bible Lesson About The Temple Mount And It’s Importance

I am going to try to make this article as short and to the facts as my writing abilities will allow. I know that many folks will not like what I will be saying but as the saying goes ‘you can’t please anyone all of the time, and some folks none of the time’. I did dig into Wikipedia’s site to get conformation of some of the exact dates and to back up my Bible and schooling knowledge.

As most folks know, the Temple Mount is located in the ‘old city’ of Jerusalem and it is the current site of the ‘Dome of the Rock’ and the al-Aqsa Mosque. Time wise the Temple Mount is a Holy place to the Jewish believers first, then also to the Christian believers, and to the believers of Islam. This location even though it is on land that belongs to Israel their government allows Islamic believers to have almost full control of the site. Some may say, why would Israel allow this, the answer is simple, Islamist violence. Any time non-Muslims set foot on the Temple Mount Islamic believers act crazy and rush to violence.

For those who don’t know the background information concerning what these three religions believe I will give you a quick history. The Jewish people were ‘The’ chosen people of God first but because of their lack of faith and adherence to God’s teachings God took away that honor and with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ gave all people the chance of salvation. The Jewish people nor the Islamic people believe that Jesus  was ‘The Christ, The Messiah, The Promised One.” The Jewish folks are still waiting for ‘The Christ’ to come for the first time and Islam does not believe in ‘A Christ’. Christians believe that Jesus was/is the Christ and are waiting for Him to come the second time (the Second Advent). This is the location that Christians believe that Jesus ascended to Heaven in 29 A.D. and that this is the location where Jesus will rule the world once He returns and puts an end to the current system of evil and He brings down from Heaven the ‘New Jerusalem’. Jews believe that ‘The Christ’ when He comes for the first time will rule the world from there. Islam believes that their Prophet Mohammad ascended to Heaven from there in the year 632 A.D.

The first Temple was built by King Solomon and was finished in the year 957 B.C.. The Hebrew name for the Temple is Beit YHWH, which translates to ‘House of Yahweh, or Jehovah’. There were three Temples built on that location that in all covered 1,320 years. The first Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 B.C.. The second Temple was built from 538 to 515 B.C.. In the year 20 B.C. King Herod The Great expanded and renovated the temple and it became know as ‘Herod’s Temple’. This is the Temple where Jesus went to at the age of 12 when Mary and Joseph lost track of Him while they were in Jerusalem. This is also the Temple where Jesus threw out the money changers while referring to it as “His Fathers House.” This Temple was destroyed by the Romans in the year 70 A.D.. Another Temple was being rebuilt there when there was a large earthquake in the year 363 A.D. which destroyed it. After this time the people only built a wooden structure of worship there, this only lasted until the year 638 A.D. when the Muslim conquerors tore it down and they built their version of a worship center there. As I said earlier, this is now referred to as the Dome of the Rock along with their al-Aqsa Mosque.

Even though older Islamic writings do refer to the older Jewish Temples being located there, since the rebirth of Israel in 1948 modern-day Palestinian’s and their leaders deny the existence of those Temples. Many of these folks have been trying to deny the existence of Israel before 1948 denying that Israel has ever had any ties to the ‘Holy Land’ or the Temple Mount. People whom have any interest in truth refer to this evil as a “campaign of intellectual erasure.” If you have any questions on what I have written please leave me a comment and I will answer you.

Revelation 3:5 A Beautiful Promise

Revelation 3:5 A Beautiful Promise

By the Christian beliefs within Biblical Scripture Jesus was the Christ, the Messiah, The Promised One. Our Jewish brothers simply do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah, The Christ, and are still waiting on His first visit. It is by my Christian faith that Jesus is and was the Christ that I also believe this short passage is spoken by Jesus in the Spirit to the last of His Apostles, the one named John. Please consider what a beautiful/fantastic promise Jesus is giving to all people of the Earth, and that does include you and me folks.

“He that overcomes, (the love of and the lust of) the world) the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the Book Of Life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before His Angels.”

Folks, on a side note though, this is one of the Scriptures that shows there is no such thing as ‘once saved always saved’. How we act as human beings each and everyday does matter. If your name is in the ‘Book Of Life’ how could your name be blotted out? The Book Of Life, if we are in it, we are saved, if we are not in it, we are condemned to the fires of Hell.

I hope this short but wonderful/beautiful promise from God directly to you will help bring a smile to your inner self.

I hope that you are able to have a good day, stay safe, God bless.

God-God’s-Allah-Buddha-Hindi-Jesus-Jehovah-Yahweh

God-God’s-Allah-Buddha-Hindi-Jesus-Jehovah-Yahweh

(First published 10-13-2013)

I know that the above title is not an all-inclusive list of names that people have for their name for God. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are at least another several thousand names that people have for a Deity. The Old Testament mentions the names of many gods relating to the different people and cultures. Ancient Egypt had many gods as did the Greeks, Romans, and the Canaanites just to mention a few of the cultures that the Old Testament mentions. One particular Deity in the land of Canaan that Scripture highly frowned upon was called Baal which is also known by the name Beelzebub which is also known as Satan. I know that I am not the smartest person in the world, but why in the world would anyone back then, or now, worship Him. I know that people today still worship Satan and that they do it knowing who He is. Many other people worship Demons unknowingly, whether it be within witchcraft within the likes of Wicca or even within so-called mainstream religions.

The reason I have chosen this subject matter today is because of an answer I got from a post I made from my Yahoo home page earlier this week. Within my comment I mentioned “their god”, and a reader replied that “their god” was the same God as the Christian and Jewish God, that these people I was referring to simply called God by a different name. This person’s response reminded me of the fact that I believed this same thing for many years but through many years of study I have learned that this is not the truth.

Within the Old Testament we learn that God the Father’s name is Jehovah (in Hebrew Yahweh) and that His only Son’s name was (Hebrew: Yeshiva or Yeshua) whose New Testament name is Jesus the Christ, the Messiah. Remember back to the beginning of the Old Testament where the wording says “let Us make man in Our image”. If you haven’t read through the first couple of chapters of the first book of the Bible (Genesis) for a while please do so when you have a little time. You will find several times where “Us and Our” image is made plain.

The Jewish people are still waiting for the Messiah, the Promised One, to appear for the first time and to set up His Earthly Kingdom in the Holy Land. We Christian people tell our Jewish Brothers that the Promised One was the man named Jesus. We Christians, in fact, all of the people of the earth are very fortunate that the Royal Bloodline, the Hebrews, by their actions fulfilled the Scriptures concerning the Messiah. The simple reason that we Gentiles have hope after this life is finished is because of them not realizing that they were killing the Messiah. If it were not for the death and resurrection of God’s Son none of us would have any hope of salvation except of the Royal Bloodline, the Jews.

There is one thing that should be noted though is that the Christians and the Jews are worshiping the Father Jehovah but that the Christians also worship Jehovah’s Son Jesus (Yeshiva). But now lies a big problem according to Scripture, we are all told that humans if we are not worshiping the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) then we humans are worshiping nothing at all like a stone or a tree or worse yet they are unknowingly worshiping Demons. You see, it wasn’t but a few years ago that I thought that Allah was just another cultures name for God the Father and that they like our Jewish brothers were mistaken concerning Jesus, but I have learned that I was wrong. I have recently learned from some of my Jewish friends that in the Arabic language a very old name for God the Father is/was Allah. What I am about to say is not wished nor intended to make anyone angry, I am not trying to slander not to hurt anyone’s feelings yet I know that some will be irate anyway. I believe that the people who are believers of and followers of the different sects of Islam have been deceived by Satan and the purity of their faith was sidetracked. I believe that they have had the full intent to be worshipers of God the Father and I greatly admire their devotion they give but I believe that it is not God that they are worshiping.

The true, one and only God, is love. God is not hate, by God’s law all people should be kind and caring to everyone, even strangers. If a person believes that they are worshiping God but their God says that His followers are to be aggressive, hateful, or violent toward anyone, then my friend, these people are worshiping the Devil, and He is no God. I apologize for the length of this post but I was trying to explain things to make it easy to understand. Hopefully I have made it to where it is easy to read between the lines and see the truth that I am trying to bring to light.

(Theology) Everything Can Be A God

EVERYTHING CAN BE A GOD

In your mind, in your opinion, is Jesus Christ ‘a God’? Outside of Christianity the prevailing answer to that question, is no, He is not. For the first three to four hundred years after the death of Jesus even the Churches heavily debated that question. Within the other two Palestine major religions, Judaism and Islam, Jesus is usually referred to as a ‘misguided’ Prophet. Even though Jesus was born and raised as a Jew His own people, then and now, do not believe that He was/is the Christ, the Messiah, the Promised One. For the purpose of trying to make a point in this commentary today I am going to ask you a question that will seem quite odd to most of you, please bare with me as you will understand more clearly as the article continues. The question is, if I carve a piece of wood to make it look like a human and then I decide to call this piece of wood Jesus Christ, is it really Jesus Christ? Hopefully all of you would say, well of course not, wouldn’t you? If I see a beautiful waterfall or a beautiful rock formation and I say look, this is Jesus Christ, does it make either of them really be Jesus Christ? I sure hope you said no. If I decided to start-up a new Church and I tell everyone that I am Jesus Christ, even if I believed it my self, would that make it be so?

Throughout the Bible there are a few different names for God and when you get into not just the different English translations but into various language translations such as Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Latin, German and so on, you will find many names for God the Father and for God the Son. For the English speakers who wish to get uppity you need to understand that in the original Hebrew and Greek there was no letter ‘J’. That means there is no such word as Jehovah or Jesus in the original Scriptures . In the Hebrew the name for ‘the Father’ is Yahweh and the name for ‘the Son’ is Yeshiva. Only after these names were ‘washed’ through several other languages did we come up with the English names of Jehovah and Jesus.

If you are a person who is a believer in Buddhism and you are holding a carving of ‘the Buddha’ in your hand and you say that this is Buddha my God, does it make it so? If you are a believer of Hinduism and you are holding one of the many different Hindu Gods in your hand and you say this is a Hindu God, does it make it so? If you are a Christian and you bow down to and worship some statue, is that statue really God? If not, then why are you bowing down to it? If you use a non-English name for Jesus, say Russian, it is Иисус.

What I am getting at is we humans have many names for what we call God and in many religions they have many Deity’s (Gods). I know that many of my ancestors came from Norway so I am quite sure that in the early times of my ‘family tree’ I had relatives who bowed down to the Viking Gods. So with that in thought if Odin was their main God and they made a carving and said this is Odin and bowed down to it, was it really Odin? The Ancient Egyptians worshiped the ‘Gods of the underworld’, folks were they really Gods? We are told in Old Testament and New that mankind has bowed down to dumb rocks and pieces of wood and most of them were nothing but dumb rocks and pieces of wood that could do nothing, but some of them were Demons. If you are worshiping ‘Gods’ of the ‘underworld’ you need to get a grip on reality.

Within the Old Testament one of the earliest names for God is ‘Elohim’, by my understanding I have been told from a couple of trusted sources that in the ancient Arabic language for Elohim is the name Allah. So technically then the name Allah is one of the names for God, just not an English name. Now the climax of this article, just because you or I decide to use the name Allah for God, does that automatically mean that because we call something ‘God’ or ‘Allah’ does that make that object really be God? Even Jesus said that because Satan and His Angels used to be Angels of Light that they can portray themselves as Angels of Light to this day. Jesus told us that Satan and His Angels are such good liars/deceivers that they will be able to even deceive some of the Saints.

I know that I have many readers who are believers in the Islamic faith and I also know that many get very upset if anyone says that they are not worshiping the one true God, Allah. Folks, this is quite understandable, Christians don’t like to be told that we aren’t really worshiping God, just as folks who believe in other religions feel the same way. What I am saying to our Islamic brothers and sisters isn’t that the name Allah isn’t a name for God, what I am saying is that the Deity that they are worshiping isn’t really God (Allah), that they have been deceived. The believers of Islam do not believe that the ‘people of the Book’ (Jews and Christians) are worshiping the one true God but when those same table are turned and we or anyone else says the same to them you end up with the ‘Islamic Terrorism’ that the world sees today. In the name of God, Jehovah, Jesus, Yahweh, Elohim, Allah, Buddha or any Hindu God, no one spills the blood of anyone. To do so is simply murder, no one is allowed to be an aggressor toward another. If ‘our God’ and His Scriptures are telling its followers to commit violence, then that Deity is not God, that Deity is a Devil! The reason the title says ‘everything can be a God’ is simple, if you or I worship it, no matter what ‘it’ is, diamonds, gold, money, whatever, we have made this item our ‘God’.

(Religious Poem) Our Mission From The Messiah

OUR MISSION FROM THE MESSIAH

Go forth to the prisoners and those who are in the darkness

Show them God’s mercy, feed the poor where ever you find them

Do not let the Sun smite the breath of life from the poor workers

Gentile of Jew, friend or foe, lead them to the pure waters

For the Lord will be wroth if we dig a pit against our neighbor

The Lord us all a Covenant to establish His mercy to the weak

Our Savior hears our anguish and has planned for our salvation

The Creator has chosen His Holy One as well as His chosen Seat

Kings and Princes shall arise against the Holy one the Messiah

It will be a terrible day when the Lord condemns the hate filled

God is the strength and glory of he who is a true believer

The Lord has known us from the womb guiding us to be Holy

We have not labored in vain nor spent our strength for nothing

The Lords judgement is honest, it is pure Truth and it is fair

From the womb the Messiah has communed with our Soul

Jesus Is The Jewish Messiah-For All

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF ‘CHOSEN PEOPLE MINISTRIES’)

Dear Friend,

Shalom and Happy New Year! Thank you for your prayers and support for Chosen People Ministries throughout 2017. This year begins our 124th year of ministry! We are excited about what God has done this past year and we are anticipating what He will do in 2018.

A Year in Review

During 2017, your partnership has enabled us to:

  • Have millions of people watch our evangelistic testimony videos,
  • Personally speak to hundreds of Jewish non believers,
  • Influence major seminaries for the sake of Jewish evangelism,
  • Establish new outreach centers in Israel.

Yet most Jewish people still do not believe in Jesus! Let me tell you why!

Jewish people think if they accept Jesus, they will no longer be Jewish. This was my thinking before I accepted Jesus.

As a Jewish person, I was raised with stories of Jewish martyrs who refused to become Christians during the time of the Crusades or the later Pogroms in Eastern Europe. Jewish people usually chose death over conversion.

Do you need to leave your Jewishness behind when you believe in Jesus? The answer is NO! The Bible teaches the opposite, as when a Jewish person believes in Jesus they become the Jewish person God has always wanted them to be! This was the Apostle Paul’s experience (Romans 11:5) and mine.

We have a very positive message. Jesus is the Jewish Messiah–for all! And you do not need give up your Jewishness to believe in Jesus – He makes it more meaningful!  This is exactly what our missionaries have been preaching since our start in 1894.

Plans for 2018

Here is what is in store for the next 12 months:

  • Complete 100 vibrant video testimonies of Jewish people who have found the Lord.
  • To develop an online video discipleship course in partnership with other ministries that is based on the Sermon on the Mount.
  • Double the number of “Isaiah 53 Explained” books in Hebrew sent to Israeli seekers.
  • Increase our outreach in Israel among young adults, Holocaust survivors and the poor.

He is the promised Messiah after all!

Blessings in 2018!

Your brother,

Mitch

Yahushua is the true name of the Messiah: Not Jesus

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF: http://www.ellyah.com/nameson.htm)

Yahushua is the true name of the Messiah

***** Note that Joshua = Yoshua or Yahushua because there is no “J” sound in Hebrew. The “J” with its “J” sound didn’t come into the English language until about 500 years ago. In fact, the “J” isn’t even found in the original 1611 King James version. (proof)

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the Messiah’s name never was “Jesus” and that the name “Jesus” is actually an invention of man.

In the King James Version of the scriptures, we find an interesting problem in its translation:

Acts 7:44(KJV) Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. 45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

Isn’t this scripture referring to Joshua, son of Nun rather than the Savior? Yes. Here is another instance…

Hebr 4:7 (KJV) Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

Again, the context reveals that this scripture is referring to Joshua, the son of Nun and not the Messiah. All other translations put “Joshua” here. Why then is it translated ‘Jesus’? The answer lies in the Greek/Latin corruption of the Messiah’s original Hebrew name. Originally, the name of the Messiah was , pronounced Yahushua. This is the Messiah’s original name. When the Gentiles tried to transliterate His name into Greek, they came up with ihsoun or “Iesous”. But originally, this word was from #3091 in the Hebrew which is . When Iesous was transliterated into Latin, it became “Iesus”, which was then carried over into English it became our modern day “Jesus” when the letter “J” developed.

Therefore, the reason the King James Version has “Jesus” in those two verses is because the Messiah’s name is actually the same name as Joshua, Son of Nun… correctly pronounced “Yahushua”. It is quite evident that the modern form “Jesus” doesn’t even remotely resemble the original name that the disciples were praying in, baptizing in and receiving so much criticism for preaching in. This is fact. Do some research and see for yourself.

“His name is Jesus: The name Jesus is the same as Saviour. It is derived from the verb signifying to save. In Hebrew it is the same as Joshua. In two places [Acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8] in the New Testament it is used where is means Joshua, the leader of the Jews into Canaan, and in our translation the name Joshua should have been retained.”

“The Sacred Name —- The word Jesus is the Latin form of the Greek “Iesous” which in turn is the transliteration of the Hebrew Jeshua, or Joshua, or again Jehoshua, meaning ‘Jehovah is Salvation’ ” Vol. 8, p. 374

Interpreter’s Bible: (Note on Matt. 1:21)

“Jesus: for He shall save: The play on words (Yeshua, Jesus; yoshia, shall save) is possible in Hebrew but not in Aramaic. The name Joshua means “Yahweh is salvation”

Matthew Henry’s Commentary

(on Matthew 1:21)

“Jesus is the same name with Joshua, the termination only being changed, for the sake of conforming it to the greek.”

Conclusion

It can be concluded then, that “Jesus” was not the Messiah’s name when He walked the earth. That is the purpose of this study. For information on why we should use the Messiah’s original name, click here.

Do The 3 Abrahamic Religions Pray To The Same God? That Answer Is Simple, No they Do Not!!!

Here in the U.S. I have heard people make the statement that all ‘these religions’ pray to the same God, they just call Him/Her by a different name, so why can’t they all just get along? This statement would be nice, if it were true, but it isn’t at all correct. Mostly the people I have heard say this nonsense have been the Hollywood types or talking heads from the NYC area. People who make this assumption tend to be people who have no knowledge of what the different religions teach and usually have no knowledge of even the teachings of one religion. I know that here in the U.S. that the majority of the population tend to say that they are Christians simply because they were brought up with their families who were or said they were. Here in the States there are a lot of different Christian religions. Religions where they say that Jesus Christ is whom they believe in, even if they have not stepped foot in any Church since they were children, or maybe even never. You hear the divisions of ‘Christ’s’ Church a lot here in the form of the questions like, are you a Christian or a Catholic? Or, Catholic or Protestant. As almost all of you know there are many divisions of Christian Churches like Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran, Pentecostal and so on and on and on. Then there are the ‘Born Again’ Christians and groups like the Church of Christ, the Church of God and the Jehovah’s Witnesses, O, and let us not forget the Mormon Church. It is easy to see why people who have no religious upbringing or very little of it could think that all ‘Religions’ serve the same God. Even though the Catholic Church doesn’t teach exactly what I believe I honestly haven’t found a ‘Church group’ that does. Yet I am not going to stone any believers in Jesus Christ whether they are Protestant or Catholic. One of the many things I have never understood in life is how groups that believe that Jesus Christ is our Saviour and King can raise their weapons against another person who believes the same thing, in the name of Religion, in the name of Christ! This confusion isn’t just among Christian Churches, let God be the Judge, we are not qualified.

Now, let us go onto non-Christian Faiths for a moment. This article is about confusion and understanding, and hopefully, clarity. I know that this article is really going to upset some folks, that is not my intention. My intention is simply to speak the “Honestly Of God’s Truth” as I see it, understand it, and believe it, too you. The only real Truth is God’s Truth and His Truth is 100% pure Truth. Humans tend to dilute God’s Truth in an effort to make it fit what they want the Truth to be, that is why only God’s Truth is pure Truth, He doesn’t need to dilute anything.

I don’t know how much knowledge each person who is reading this has concerning Old Testament Scriptures so I will be as direct and short as I can in an effort to help people understand the connections. In the Old Testament (which was written as ‘The Law’ to the Hebrew/Jewish people) the first of the 3 ‘Founding Fathers’ of Israel was Abraham, then there was his son Isaac, and Isaac’s son Jacob. God would later change the name of Jacob to Israel. The 12 Tribes of Israel are named after Jacob’s/Israel’s 12 sons. Since the Book of Genesis but especially in the Books of Isaiah and Daniel the people of Israel are told of a Messiah/Christ/Redeemer/Saviour/Promised One, that will come and elevate Israel to the premier Nation on Earth and this Messiah/Christ will rule the Earth from a new Jerusalem that will come down from Heaven. It is believed that ‘The Christ’ will rule from His Throne upon The Temple Mount. I as a devout Christian believe this exact same thing. The big difference is that as a Christian I believe that the Hebrew/Jewish Messiah has already come in the form of Jesus (Yeshua) but the Jewish folks do not believe that Jesus was ‘The Christ’. You see, when Jesus came to the Earth in 4 B.C. to fulfill Scripture the Jewish people were looking for the ‘Messiah’ to come and remove the Roman Rulers from Israel and to set up His Kingdom then. When the people realised that Jesus was not here to do that many of the people turned on him. Jesus was simply here to fulfill what the Scriptures had to say about Him. Christians should not be at all mad at our Jewish brothers, sisters and friends for their ancestors killing Jesus as they did. First, God hardened their hearts so that they would do so and there is the reality that if Jesus had not done what He did and the people had not done what they did, none of us ‘Gentiles’ (anyone whom is not 100% of Hebrew blood) would have no chance of salvation at all. We would be no better than the dogs or pigs as far as salvation is concerned. (This is exactly what Islam does think of us Christians and Jews by the way.)

The Jewish faith and their beliefs are correct in that the Messiah will come from the skies and put an end to this corrupt and violent world that we all live in. Christians call this the ‘Second Advent of Christ’, in the Jewish faith they are looking for the Messiah to come for the first time. When Jesus comes for the Second time He will put an end to this sinful world and the ‘New Jerusalem’ will come down from Heaven and The Messiah will rule the whole World from the Temple Mount just as the Jewish people believe. The Jewish faith believes that all of us Christians are ‘lost’ and that we nor anyone else have any chance of salvation, only the Jewish people do. The Jewish faith does not believe that the ‘New Testament’ is the word of God. They believe in the Torah which are the first 5 books of the Old Testament that Moses authored and the rest of the Old Testament which is called the Books of the Prophets, some major Prophets, some minor.  The New Testament and the teachings of Jesus make it very plain that the ‘only way to the Father is through Him’ also that those who deny Him, deny the Father. As Christians we pray to The Father through Jesus and believe that this is the only way that our prayers have any chance of getting to the ears of The Father. Jewish folks do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah/Christ so they do not pray to Jesus and by New Testament teachings the Jewish people’s prayers have no chance of reaching The Father’s Ears. This would make the prayers of the non-believers of Christ worthless, just the same as someone who prays to Allah, Buddha or the Dali Lama, a dollar bill or as if a total atheist  prayed because they would have no faith in Jesus, nor do they believe in Him. Those statements are hard I know, but they are not meant to be hateful at all, they are just pointing out the honest differences. God has made it very plain that He will never ever abandon Israel nor His people. God is always looking out for the Nation of Israel and He always will. Salvation is to the Jew first, then to the Gentile. We as Christians as well as all other people of the Earth if they have any sense at all should always make sure to stand by Israel and Her people for they are sacred to God Himself.

The third of the Abrahamic Religions is the religion of Islam. As Abraham is the Father of the Jewish Nation and people he is also the Father of a boy called Ishmael through his Egyptian Servant woman Hagar. Abraham’s wife was barren until she was 100 years old so being Abraham had no heir his wife Sarah told him to lay with his Servant Hagar to obtain a son and heir. Not long after Ishmael was born God opened up the womb of Sarah and she had a son called Isaac. Sarah got jealous of Ishmael so she had Abraham chase him and his Mom away. Ishmael is the father of the Muslim people and he was of the loins of Abraham so yes, they are Abraham’s descendants. About 600 years after the death of Jesus in Jerusalem a man called Mohammad arose from the deserts of what is now Saudi Arabia and started a new religion in the cities of Medina and Mecca. Mohammad died in the city of Mecca in the year 632 A.D. but his teachings are the religion of Islam. The followers of Islam refer to God by the name of Allah. Do not be shocked that almost all religions other than Islam do not believe that the ‘Allah’ that they are praying to is actually ‘God’. Just as the Jewish believers believe that Christians are not praying to God when we pray to Jesus the Jewish people don’t believe that the Islamic people are praying to a ‘God’ when they are praying to Allah. Also, the Islamic believing people do not believe that the Christians or the Jews are praying to ‘God’ because they are not praying to Allah. Islam calls the Christian and Jewish people the ‘people of The Book’. In this they are correct, just as they know that Islam does not believe in the teachings of ‘The Book’ (The Bible). So folks, it is obvious that the people of the Islamic faith when they are praying to Allah that by the Christian and Jewish beliefs these people are just praying to the open air at best and at worst, they are praying to the Devil Himself. I am not trying to be hateful here in this article, I am just pointing out some very obvious truths between the three Abrahamic Religions where the issue is prayer.

Everyone Should Be Thankful The Jewish People Killed Jesus 2,000 Years Ago

For those of you who have little or no knowledge of the Scriptures I can understand if you are screaming at me right now, and that is okay, if I had no knowledge of the Scriptures I would be doing the same thing. I used this title to try to get people’s attention. If you know the story about Moses and the Egyptian Pharaoh do you remember how there was several times that the Pharaoh had agreed to let the Hebrew people leave Egypt one day but the next day changed his mind? Each time this happened we are told it was because God hardened Pharaoh’s heart. Even the last time where Pharaoh actually ordered them to get out of Egypt, after the people had left God hardened his heart one last time and Pharaoh took off after them to bring them back, only to drown the Egyptians in the Red Sea.

I brought that issue up to help remind you that God did the same thing about 1,500-1,600 years later except this time He hardened the hearts of the Jewish people of Jerusalem so that they would go through with having  their own Messiah killed at the hands of the hated Romans. You see, the Jewish people of that time were waiting for the Messiah to come there and to set up an Earthly Kingdom where He would rule the whole world from Jerusalem and in the process, get rid of the hated Romans. Actually, this is what the Jewish people of today are also waiting on, for the Messiah, the Christ, to come to Earth and do exactly that, except for the Romans part. The Jewish people were/are God’s chosen people and when the Messiah does come (back) He will do exactly that. When the Jewish people 2,000 years ago realized that Jesus was not there to set up the Messiah’s Kingdom at that time, God hardened their hearts so that the Scriptures could be fulfilled completely.

Folks, if Jesus had set up His Throne at that time, if He had not been killed and if He had not been raised from the dead three days later, there would be no such thing as Christianity and no one and I do mean no one but the Jewish people would have been able to be saved. Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, went through with all of that pain so that everyone could have the chance to be saved. The Jewish people are correct, the Messiah is coming and the people who are of pure Hebrew blood are still peculiar people to God. And yes, Christ is going to set up His Kingdom from the Holy City of the New Jerusalem which will come down out of Heaven and yes the Messiah will set up His Throne upon the Temple Mount. After the New Jerusalem has come down from Heaven those of us who are not of %100 Hebrew blood (Gentiles) will be allowed to walk the streets of the Holy City for 42 months. After that time Christ will come down from Heaven and sit upon His Throne and rule the whole world from the Holy City for ever more. But, after that forty-two months us Gentiles will no longer be allowed within the Holy City. I know that some folks are angry at the thought that I/you/we are only relegated to the reality of a true Heaven on Earth type life style but think about it for a moment before you complain too loudly. If the Jewish people of 2,000 years ago had not killed Jesus we would all be one of those folks in Hell hoping for a bit of ice water. So, quit complaining, and just be thankful.

Do All 3 Abrahamic Religions Pray To The Same God? That Answer Is Simple: No!
