(Humanity/Poem) Will They Know-That We Loved Them

Will They Know-That We Loved Them

Today would have been the Birthday of my Father-in-Law and friend

Three weeks ago he passes just shy of seeing his 82nd circle of life

I was not there with him when he slid into the waiting arms of the Lord

The suffering that racked his brain is now but part of this good man’s aura

The last time I saw him we shared a smile when I mentioned the name of the Lord

Knowing that we will meet again so this time, this hug would not be the last one

With dignity he served as he quietly ran his race and with dignity, he slipped off to rest

Four children he raised, always trying his best, his youngest daughter he entrusted to me

His funeral my health would not let me attend high up on a Bluegrass Mountaintop

It is not one’s death that we celebrate, with one’s breath’s a person chooses good or bad

Even the Devil was once loved but just like many humans some turn away from God’s Grace

When we ourselves pass on into the quiet, will the ones we love know they held that place

(Philosophy/Poem) Shame

Shame

Shame is there really such a thing as shame these days

Shame, do you haunt the door stoop of our innermost thoughts

History, ancient wisdom, flickers of light and dark, the Soul searches

Have we lived the memories that our dreams replay for us at night

Bloodletting, holding someones last breath in your hands, live or die

What do you say to the relatives of the ones that we killed tonight

Shame you now feel because you chose to take their child’s last breath

To act kindly is to play the role of a fool in the eyes of today’s morality

How much of our soul do we give up to live the life that we chose to live

Have we acted with dignity in the days that the Lord G-d has given us

Think of having to wear the guilt and the shame of a deserter’s last name

Or, of having your Dad be the town drunk and your Mom the County Whore

Shame, do we sicken ourself via the depression we have caused our children

Is Shame an inbred part of the fiber which makes up our bone, skin, and Soul

Are there things that we have done that we will carry the darkness to our grave

Just like pity, ignorance, love, anger, and hate is shame a balance for the Soul

The ability to feel shame should be part of every human’s life, but, is it really

(Philosophy/Poem) Saying Goodbye, Again

Saying Goodbye, Again

(This is dedicated to a man I look up to, my Father-In-Law, Glenn Wright)

How many times do we say goodbye, to the same one

We lose them in dreams at night even before their gone

The pain of reality like sharp darts to the Core of the Heart

Laying down, one you love, tears the Soul into many pieces

Yet I know that they knew, they were so dearly loved by  I

Does one truly die if loved ones cherish the thought of them

We may all say goodbye once, location of the second, is the trip

(Humor/Poem) Tabby My Dear

Tabby My Dear

Our little fur ball so plain to the eyes

Short gray hair like allergies they fly

Beauty she lacks except for her kitten face

Her purr motor running with a smile always

Her love for the family she never disguised

Pets like people who possess outer beauty

Tend to be filled with self-love and pomp

True love comes from within the heart

Just like the love she never tried to hide

In the sweet little face of our Tabby Cat

(Love Philosophy/Poem) Real Love

Real Love

Love is a thing hoped for, yet something that is so seldom found

Do we think love is a dozen red roses or a big red box of chocolates

Or, do we believe flirting eyes telling us it’s box’s filled with bling

How is it that we poor dumb men still do not understand such things

Money will only buy a person whom will wear your temporary ring

How could a real true loving heart be able to be bought like a thing

Rose petals die and fall away, their stems with brier’s do forever mar

The candies red box now empty,it’s your fault, the calories it did bring

Now she tells everyone how you caused, her lap to be upon her knees

If flirting eyes and soft lips tell you that diamonds are her best friend

Do yourself a solid, get up on your horse, ride away as quickly as you can

Son, love is the touch of her hand as she walks gently by in a room full of men

Love is the sweet smile she has in her eyes for you, not just lust between the thighs

Love is what I am now blessed to know, though it did take me a couple of tries

Love is when your ugly, fat and old, she still gives you the scepter, the TV remote control

My friend I pray that someday you will be blessed where you to can have a love like I

(Philosophy/Poem) Grace Is The Peace

Grace Is The Peace

Grace is the peace that the Lord has given

To him or to her, peace is the Spirit within

Grace is the warm blanket in the cold of night

Peace is the Spirit led Soul in the love of the Light

Love is the trust one has in the Spirit led life

Grace is always offered, given from the Heart of the Son

It is the Lords Peace that humans often try to run from

Why do humans often try to seek shadows in the darkness

Why do we try to make our lives from the dollar and the gun

There is no love or grace in the darkness we chose to roam

Man can be so foolish, some prefer darkness instead of the Son

If the Lord’s Spirit indwells you there is no place you can run

The Day of God’s judgement and recompense is soon coming

Through the Grace, love and peace of the Father and His Holy Son

From within us the Spirit of God, Grace and Peace He has given

If we choose to shun God’s Grace, the ignorant in Hell will be living

(Poem) Time

Time

To each of us time is the teller of all things

Our life begins with a slap to our bottoms

Then ends with a breath as we lay dying

What do we do in between with this gift of love

Defines who we are and what we’ve become

Time is endless in space, but not for us specks of sand

Our time is given by Grace from our Creator above

But how do we repay those gifts of this unconditional love

Time marches on yet and not for any one of us will it wait

What we do with our time is the tale of our Judgement’s fate

Weather we be good or be evil we each on our own decide

Do we spend our time wisely, or like some fool living a lie

In our life we have freedom to choose if to die once, or to die twice

Time marches on and from our own Judgement none of us can hide

(Poem) X-Wives

She used to be a wife to me

Fulfilling the lust of my dreams

Her belly grew from love of my seed

Now blond hair with green eyes a glow

Barely now twelve months in the wind

One more angel, blessed again

Though not tied, you would think they were twins

Wherever one went a second blended like a shadow

I should have known their Mother would roam

Into the bed of many my heart suffered such pain

Working too much if you’re married to a slut

This disaster is not a good home in the making

Your Angels get used as bait to make your heart-break

From deep in your Soul your heart and mind can’t take it

Not caring that for lust your family home she is destroying

Men, divorce is no one’s friend do not play it like a fiddle

Not just your heart, your children always lose in the end

Son, be careful what she is when you say you wish to get hitched

Easily spread legs not always one you should consider marriage

(Poem) Love And Kindness

What is within the heart of a man

Is it love and kindness, or hate hiding within

What is it that upon your heart is brand

Little grain of sand, are you animal or man

What is it you think that allows you stand

Is it love and kindness, is God’s Spirit within

Love and kindness, is it your true light

Or is it brimstone hiding behind a veil

What is hiding within your heart o man

Who does rule your soul from within

O love and kindness, are you my friend

(Poem) Those Eyes

Those Eyes

The first eyes that we ever see

There filled with happiness and glee

Warmth in the smiles of Momma’s eyes

Those eyes do comfort and anxieties ease

First grade crushes every girl on the buses

Eyes filled with smiles and simplicity

Twinkles of glee and faces with blushes

Those eyes of adolescent crushes

Young adult eyes all filled with dreams

Hearts filled with love for your Bride

Those eyes, of a heart not yet broken

Middle age crazy our minds filled with lust

Lying here in bed with our neighbors wife

Remembering the heat and the lust in those eyes

Hearing a sound, it did not come from us

Stumble into the street everyone’s eyes looking up

There the saddest eyes I have ever seen

The eyes of the Lord looking straight at me
