(Love Poem) Good Morning My Sweet Lady

Good Morning My Sweet Lady

Good morning my sweet Lady

It’s so nice to see your smile

Another day, another year gone

Don’t let its shadows haunt

The beauty of time is it heals

Our time together is priceless

The gifts of our children’s smiles

Love is more than your bosom

Peace I have found in your heart

Your eyes, they melt my very Soul

Can Heaven be sweeter than your touch

The Stars get their glow from your Soul

Peace is the passion I find in your love

You are the Sun my heart revolves around

Good morning my sweet Lady, my Wife

(Love Poem) Tear Drops On Her Heart

TEAR DROPS ON HER HEART

The dribble on the stick

Says she is a Mom to be

Boy ran off didn’t wanna hear it

Clinic could remove Her, or live in shame

Go through a Church and quietly have Her

Boy feels no shame for the crime committed

Give your Baby back to God, or a life with others

Keep Her for yourself even if your family shuns Her

Takes a will of steel to say you’ll keep Her

Without a Daddy there are two hearts breaking

Piety sticks their nose where they have no business

Single Mom’s life is filled with love and hardships

Someday a Man may appear, be a true Prince Charming

A true Man, not a Boy, to become a Husband and a Daddy

Takes a lot more than sex to become a Woman of a Man

Tear drops on Her heart as she holds and Keeps Her Baby

(Love Poem) Love Is A State Of Mind

Love Is A State Of Mind

Love it is said is controlled by the heart

I believe such words are just a human metaphor

The heart controls the blood that goes to ones mind

It also controls the blood to a mans secondary brain

Yet, is it true that only women have a stone cold heart

When we’re in love why can we then act like such a fool

Yet, if in love will we truly protect to our last heart beat

Who would not give their life for that of spouse or child

Would a true man who is in love really ever strike his wife

Love, like hate takes up residence in the caverns of the mind

One does not fall out of love because their wife gained 20 pounds

Does our love depend on the size of an organ or of a bank account

Can love go to despising the ground on which your spouse stands

Love, like hate, faith and sex appeal are all in the canyons of our brain

When we say we’re in love, do we even have a clue what were talking about

(Love Poem) My Little Girl

My Little Girl

There is this pretty little girl in Arkansas I met

From a life of roaming she took me, I don’t regret

The Lord blessed me with her smile and warmth

The tenderness of her skin the same as her lips

Kentucky’s Blue Grass with her and son we live in bliss

With the love of my lady I know my Soul is Heaven kissed

I love the beauty of her heart as her Soul and hand I kiss

For the love of my lady at her feet I bow and her toes I kiss

(Love Poem) High Winds

HIGH WINDS

Not tired so I decided to stay up a while tonight

No particular reason, just that I wished to tonight

About one A.M. I start to hear the high winds roll

Down the Pass straight to our home they blow

The house creaks and cracks to say it’s hello

Wife sound a sleep at the back-end of the house we share

Winds always bother her, she has lived in the alley of big blows

My lady had snoozed so I ushered her to bed about midnight

A big blow once picked up her car with her and her baby inside

It sat them back down on the highway, still unhurt and alive

Sweet dreams to my Lady, sleeping quietly tonight

Wrapped up with her Boo kitty all snuggled in tight

About five A.M. now, it think the big winds have died

Big winds can be so soothing, or, bring a chill to your bones

Sleep well my Lady, the high winds meant nothing tonight
