Unarmed America Equals An Open Door To Jihadist; Doesn’t It?

Unarmed America Equals Open An Door To Jihadist; Doesn’t It?

I have been blessed that in my lifetime I have never had to shoot anyone. I have never know anyone that I honestly wished to be dead while they were still alive. Yet, should the situation ever arise that I deemed it necessary to pull the trigger on someone could I pull it? I know my answer to myself, yet I will keep that knowledge to myself. It is not the weapons fault if it has an immature egomaniac pulling the trigger! Exactly why the people must be able to be armed against such monsters. You have heard some of the off-color stupid jokes about people who were ignorant enough to only bring a knife to a gun fight haven’t you? America, or any other country on the globe is filled with good honest people whether they believe in the same Deity as yourself, or not. All people deserve to be able to be safe behind their own doors. No person on Earth has ‘the right, or any right’ to be the first aggressor against another person yet we all know some people just don’t give a damn about you having any rights. They just want you dead so they can take your bounty. The American people (not so much the folks in D.C., NYC, or Hollywood) understand the danger we are all in if we are not allowed to protect ourselves. Think about all the poor and innocent people in Mexico who have been caught up in the path of gangsters bullets? A bullet fired by a local thug or a trained Jihadist, will still kill you either way. It is much easier to be ‘big and bad’ once your target is already in a helpless position. We all know these macho men, the wife beaters and the child molesters. Can you think of these type of individuals and honestly believe that there is no such thing as evil in our world? Do you want any of them coming through your windows or doors with no way to stop them?

Think about being in the military of your country and you are assigned to guard and protect a building full of tanks. If it were back in the days when open war on your country had not been declared, in training you could have guarded the shack with a baseball bat. But this is not the good old days of our bygone youth, today we are all in the real dispersion of evil that is being waged on all of humanity. Now imagine yourself having to guard that shack full of tanks in an active war zone, without any ammo for your weapons. Now, how would that make you feel? Is that what you call one of those ‘o hell no’ moments? You want to make your “guard” position even worse? Are you thinking, how could it get any worse? How about, the enemy that has been lying in wait to get a chance to kill you has just found out that you don’t have any ammo so you have no way to protect yourself nor to harm your killer? Now how do you feel about your position for a long and healthy life? Would it make you even madder if you found out that it was your commanding officers who gave your murders the information that you had no ammo, no real way to protect yourself, or anyone else that might be in that shack that you have been trying to protect?

This past year we have seen another mass shooting this time in California leaving fourteen people dead and seventeen wounded. We have also seen a mass shooting at churches in South Carolina and Texas, last month 17 died at a school in south Florida. Yet the same sad faces talk their stupidity about how American citizens should not be allowed to possess a firearm in their homes, vehicles, or on their persons as this would make for a safer America. Yet if you pay attention to the stats you will find that Americans are taking more gun classes than ever and gun sales are up, this flies in the face of what the Democratic-left thinks should be happening. These folks don’t seem to get the fact that the American people want to be able to defend themselves if someone comes busting through their door tonight. Recent world events show the people that there is no way that you can always depend on someone else to come save you (like say, a police officer) when/if you and your family are attacked. Those fourteen murdered people in California was a wake up call to many that this Islamic murdering Demonic trash is on every continent and can reach into any village that they wish to. We also learned that some shooters have nothing to do with any religion like the shooter in southern Florida or the idiot in south Texas. So, when the Devil comes face to face with you and your family whether you’re at Wal-Mart, McDonald’s, your Church or even your home or school, what are you going to do about it? People all have to decide what they are going to do as individuals, we can cower down and die like mice or at least give yourself and your family a fighting chance against the Jihadist who just burst into your world.

Jerry Falwell Jr: Say’s One Thing Smart Then One Thing Stupid?

Jerry Falwell Jr: Say’s One Thing Smart Then One Thing Stupid?

(This article is from December 7th of 2015)

I always insist that I be honest with everyone when I put my thoughts into print as I do not wish to mislead anyone. I am a person whom though a Christian at heart I was never a fan of Mr. Jerry Falwell Sr because of several of his business actions in his local area. I don’t believe that the preacher should ever be ‘the show’ and before two days ago, I didn’t even know that Mr. Falwell Sr had any Juniors. Now, Junior being Seniors son, he didn’t surprise me about the gun situation part of his recent speech but it did disappoint as a Christian that mind-set of ‘getting them Muslims’. Junior needs to remember that God Himself said that He hates the sin but He loves the sinner. The sinner, that is me and it is you Junior as well as those who are not believers of and in Jesus as The Christ. Yes this does include all people of the world, including ‘them Muslims’, but it includes all Christians who have a hate filled heart toward anyone as well. This is why we as Christians are supposed to go out into our world and try to convert everyone to the love of Christ Jesus. All ‘them Muslims’ have Souls just like all ‘them Jews’, they are all potential brothers and sisters in Christ, we can not love and accept them if we only hate them. Islam teaches that the Christian God is not God, that we don’t worship the true God yet when the same statement is reversed with Christianity saying that Allah is not a God, the American media gets their panties in a wad.

Mr. Falwell Jr did say some intelligent things about gun control and licensing for concealed weapons. On this I once again have a torque with the to far to the right media here in America on gun issues. NBC News was quite negative about Mr. Falwell Jr’s idea to offer free concealed weapons permit classes there at Liberty College in Virginia. How often do you hear of a terrorist walking into a police department and start shooting at people? How often do you hear of a piece of garbage walking into a school or a business and start shooting at all the unarmed people? If I was a person who wanted to come into someones home to rob and or kill them I would much prefer you be unarmed because by the time the police can get there, you’re already dead and I am gone. President Obama and those folks who think like him on gun control would put every community in America at the greatest possible risk to local and foreign-born Jihadist. If you are in the need to rob a store for its cash how comfortable would you be walking into a store where any customers in it might also be armed? Knowing that when you pull your gun to rob folks that one or all of them might pull out their own gun and shoot you down like a rabid dog, how likely are you to be a long-term thief? I am a believer in people being able to be allowed to defend themselves if they are attacked, not to be the attacker, but self-defense yes. Make no mistake about it, there are huge differences in what Christian Scriptures teach which is to try to love and to convert were in Islam they are taught to kill everyone who will not bow down and kiss Allah’s feet at least five times a day. One is love, one is hate, they have very little in common and it is that core issue, one is based on love and the other is based on hate and submission. So, in my honest opinion Mr. Falwell Jr got one correct, one failure. Mr. Falwell, that is a grade of 50%, that is a failing grade for a Christian Administrator Sir.

The heroic French policeman who died Saturday after offering himself as a hostage in a jihadist siege at a supermarket was an elite officer who had been decorated for his bravery in Iraq.

Lieutenant-Colonel Arnaud Beltrame, 45, took the place of a woman who gunman Radouane Lakdim was holding as a final hostage in the Super U store in the quiet southwest town of Trebes on Friday.

A senior officer in the gendarmerie, a police force which is part of the French military, Beltrame hoped to be able to negotiate with Lakdim once the 50 shoppers and staff caught up in the siege had been taken to safety.

He left his telephone on a table to allow authorities to hear what was happening inside.

But Lakdim, who claimed allegiance to the Islamic State group, shot and stabbed him, prompting a police raid that left the attacker dead. Beltrame succumbed to his wounds early Saturday.

President Emmanuel Macron led a flood of tributes to Beltrame, who had served for four years protecting the presidential palace in the 2000s.

“Lieutenant-Colonel Beltrame displayed exceptional calm in the heat of the moment and showed the virtue of our security forces in astonishing fashion,” Macron said.

The officer, who was married with no children, “died a hero”, the president said.

Beltrame’s brother Cedric said he would have known all too well the risk he was taking.

“He certainly knew he didn’t stand a chance,” he said.

“He gave his life for another.”

And Beltrame’s mother, who has not been named, she was unsurprised her son would put others’ lives before his own.

“He was always like that — he’s someone who ever since he was born did everything for his country,” she told RTL radio.

“He would tell me, ‘Mum, I do my job. That’s all.'”

By poignant coincidence, Beltrame had simulated a terrorist attack at a supermarket in December as a training exercise, in his role as deputy chief of the gendarmerie in the local Aude region.

He graduated in 1999 from France’s top military college, Saint-Cyr, where his superiors described him as someone who “fought until the end and never gave up”, Macron said.

He was one of just a handful of candidates chosen to join the gendarmerie’s elite GSIGN force in 2003 and was deployed to Iraq in 2005, where he won a Cross for Military Valour.

He joined the Republican Guard protecting the presidential palace after returning from Iraq, and also worked as an advisor to the environment ministry.

He had been named just last year as deputy chief of the gendarmerie in the Aude, where Lakdim unleashed his shooting spree in the medieval town of Carcassonne before driving to the supermarket in nearby Trebes.

“His leadership abilities and his dedication were appreciated by everyone, notably in developing the anti-terror capacity of the gendarmerie in the Aude,” Macron said.

Flags flew at half-mast at gendarmerie bases across France on Saturday.

Anne-Marie Bonnet was among a flock of local residents coming to lay flowers at Beltrame’s base in Carcassonne, where a white rose hung at the door.

“We want to thank him for what she did,” she said. “It was a heroic gesture and I’d rather we talk about him than the other one,” she said of the attacker.

Beltrame is the seventh member of France’s security forces to be killed in a jihadist attack since 2012.

France is a member of the US-led coalition that has fought the Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq, and soldiers and police have often found themselves the target in domestic attacks.

Barcelona and Cambrils attacks: What we know so far

People wait to enter the area after a van crashed into pedestrians near the Las Ramblas avenue in central Barcelona, Spain August 17, 2017Image copyright REUTERS

There have been two attacks in Spain’s Catalonia region involving people driving cars at crowds at high-speeds.

Here is what we know so far.

What happened?

On Thursday afternoon at 16:50 local time (14:50 GMT) a white van smashed into people on Las Ramblas, a famous boulevard in central Barcelona that runs 1.2km (0.75 miles) and was packed with tourists.

The van driver is said to have zig-zagged to try and hit as many people as possible along the pedestrianised area, knocking many to the floor and sending others fleeing for cover in shops and cafes.

He killed 13 people and injured more than 100, and managed to flee the scene.

Spanish police have described it as a terror attack.

What was the second attack?

About eight hours later, an Audi A3 car ploughed into pedestrians in the popular seaside resort town of Cambrils, 110km (68 miles) south-west of Barcelona.

Six civilians were injured, one critically, and a police officer was hurt too.

Five attackers, some of whom appeared to be wearing suicide belts, were then shot by police. Four died at the scene and one later died of his injuries.

Controlled explosions were carried out and authorities later said the explosive belts were fake.

Both the Las Ramblas and Cambrils attacks are believed to be linked.

Who has been arrested?

On Thursday, one person from Spain’s north African enclave of Melilla was arrested in Alcanar and a Moroccan was arrested in Ripoll. Both are towns in Catalonia – the same region as Barcelona.

Police say neither of the pair arrested was the driver.

Documents belonging to the Moroccan, 28-year-old Driss Oubakir, were allegedly used to rent the van used in the Las Ramblas attack but local media report he says his papers were stolen and used without his knowledge.

He arrived in Barcelona from Morocco on 13 August, the El Pais newspaper reports, citing police sources.

On Friday, police announced another arrest in Ripoll. It remains unclear how many people were involved in the plots.

Weren’t there other incidents too?

On Thursday evening at 19:30 local time, a car was driven into officers at a checkpoint on the outskirts of Barcelona.

The car was later found with a dead man inside it, but the interior ministry has denied earlier reports he was killed by police gunfire. He is not believed to be linked to the Las Ramblas attack, officials say, but investigations are ongoing

On Wednesday night, an explosion completely destroyed a house in Alcanar, 200km south of Barcelona, killing one person and wounding seven.

Media caption What was it like to be caught up in the Barcelona attack?

The house was filled with bottles of propane and butane, Spanish newspaper El Pais reported (in Spanish).

That incident is believed to be connected to Thursday’s events.

Who are the victims?

They come from all over the world, with at least 24 nationalities represented.

People from Ireland, France, Australia, China, Pakistan, Venezuela, Algeria, Peru, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Philippines are all reported to be among the victims.

Belgium said one of its citizens was killed and France said 26 of its nationals were injured, 11 seriously. The Australian government said at least four citizens were injured.

Who is responsible?

So-called Islamic State (IS) has said it was behind the Las Ramblas attack and that IS “soldiers” carried it out. But it did not provide any evidence or details to back up the claim.

Why Spain?

The country is one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations but in recent years has not seen the kind of jihadist violence that has rocked France, the UK, Belgium and Germany.

Still, Spain has been targeted before – several trains in Madrid, the capital, were bombed by al-Qaeda inspired militants in 2004, killing 191 people.

The IS news agency, Amaq, said the attack was carried out as part of efforts to target states fighting in the US-led anti-IS coalition.

A few hundred Spanish soldiers are in Iraq, training local forces fighting the Sunni militant group.

How much jihadist activity is there in the country?

The number of operations carried out against jihadists has increased significantly since Spain raised its terror alert level to four out of five in June 2015, meaning there was “high risk” of a terror attack.

Before these attacks, 51 suspected jihadists had already been detained in the country this year, while 69 were detained last year, and 75 were detained in 2015, according to El Pais.

Security and surveillance was stepped up in the wake of truck attacks in the French city of Nice in July 2016 and the German capital Berlin in December.

Militant activity

Duterte’s eye-popping comments came after members of the jihadist militant group Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) clashed with Philippines government troops on the tourist island of Bohol earlier this month.
In separate attacks, at least 10 members of the terror group have been killed in the island province in the last month. At least three more militants are still at large, according to CNN affiliate CNN Philippines.

Battle For Mosul Iraq Continues, Hundreds Of ISIS Fighters Killed: Say U.S. Generals

Mosul battle: IS ‘loses hundreds of fighters’ – US generals

Hundreds of Islamic State militants are thought to have been killed since Iraqi forces launched an offensive to retake Mosul last week, the US military says.

Two generals said the jihadist group had suffered the losses as troops and allied fighters, backed by US-led air strikes, advanced on several axes.

Up to 5,000 IS fighters were believed to be in Mosul ahead of the assault.

Despite the territorial gains, commanders have warned that securing Mosul could take weeks, if not months.

About 50,000 Iraqi security forces personnel, Kurdish Peshmerga fighters, Sunni Arab tribesmen and Shia militiamen are involved in the operation.

More than 100 US military personnel are embedded with them, advising commanders and helping direct coalition air strikes. Other US troops are providing fire support from nearby bases.

Lt Gen Stephen Townsend, the commander of US forces in Iraq, said on Wednesday that the coalition forces had delivered more than 2,100 aerial bombs, artillery and mortar shells, rockets and missiles since 17 October.

“This relentless campaign of strikes has removed hundreds of fighters, weapons, and key leaders from the battlefield in front of the Iraqi advance,” he added.

On Thursday, the head of the US military’s Central Command, Gen Joseph Votel, told the AFP news agency: “Just in the operations over the last week and a half associated with Mosul, we estimate they’ve probably killed about 800-900 Islamic State fighters.”

The Iraqi government informed US commanders on Wednesday that 57 Iraqi soldiers had been killed and about 250 wounded. Kurdish Peshmerga fighters are thought to have suffered about 20 to 30 fatalities.

Despite the removal of hundreds militants from the battlefield, Gen Townsend warned that IS defenses were likely to grow stronger the closer they got to Mosul.

The group had “used an extraordinary amount of indirect fire – mortars, artillery and rockets – and an exceptional number of VBIEDs (Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices),” he told reporters during a visit to the Qayyarah airbase.

Fierce resistance by jihadists has held up soldiers in the Shura area, 40-km (25 miles) south of Mosul, prompting elite Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) forces to pause their advance near the village of Bazwaya, only 6 km east of the city.

CTS commander Brig Gen Haider Fadhil told the Associated Press his forces would wait for other units to reach Mosul’s outskirts before entering the city.

But he stressed: “The operation has not been stopped and is proceeding as planned.”

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) said it had trained 90 Iraqi medics in “mass casualty management” as part of its preparations for the Mosul operation, with a special focus on responding to chemical attacks, AP reported.

IS has previously used chemical weapons in attacks on Iraqi and coalition forces, and there are fears that it might do so again inside Mosul, where more than a million civilians live.

Some 11,700 residents have fled since the offensive began and, according to the UN’s worst-case scenario, as many as 700,000 others could follow suit.

“There’s been quite a dramatic upturn in the last few days,” said Karl Schembri of the Norwegian Refugee Council, who warned that there were currently only spaces in camps for 60,000 people.

The WHO is working on the assumption that 200,000 of them will require emergency health services, including more than 90,000 children needing vaccinations and 8,000 pregnant women.

Syria conflict: US air strikes ‘kill dozens of government troops’

Image captionFighters of so-called Islamic State in Deir al-Zour, where they have been battling Syrian troops

The US-led coalition has admitted its planes carried out an attack in eastern Syria that the Russian army says killed at least 62 Syrian troops fighting IS.

The US said its planes halted the attack in Deir al-Zour when informed of the Syrian presence and would not knowingly strike them.

The strikes allowed IS jihadists to advance, the Russians said.

Russia earlier said the current ceasefire in Syria was in danger of collapse and the US would be to blame.

The cessation of hostilities does not include attacks by the US on IS or other jihadist groups.

The US Central Command statement said the coalition believed it was attacking positions of so-called Islamic State and the raids were “halted immediately when coalition officials were informed by Russian officials that it was possible the personnel and vehicles targeted were part of the Syrian military”.

It said the “Combined Air Operations Center had earlier informed Russian counterparts of the upcoming strike”.

It added: “Syria is a complex situation with various military forces and militias in close proximity, but coalition forces would not intentionally strike a known Syrian military unit. The coalition will review this strike and the circumstances surrounding it to see if any lessons can be learned.”

Russia’s defence ministry earlier said that if the US air strikes did turn out to be an error, it would be because of Washington’s stubborn refusal to co-ordinate military action with Moscow.

Image captionNumerous ceasefire breaches by Syrian government troops and rebel groups have been reported

Only if the current ceasefire – which began on Monday – holds for seven days, will the US and Russia begin co-ordinated action against the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham group, which was previously known as the al-Nusra Front, and IS.

Russia’s defence ministry quoted a statement by Syrian army general command as saying that the four coalition air strikes on Syrian troops had allowed IS to advance.

The Syrian statement said the air strikes were “conclusive evidence” that the US and its allies supported the jihadist group.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group put the death toll at least 80.

There have been no confirmed cases of US air strikes targeting Syrian troops. Last December, Syria accused the coalition of attacking a government army camp in Deir al-Zour but the US denied it.

‘Repeated messages’

Earlier, Russia’s military expressed fears for the ceasefire. It said rebel groups had increased attacks and it urged the US to act or be responsible for the collapse of the truce. Media caption Syrian family living in cemetery in Eastern Aleppo.

Russian General Vladimir Savchenko said “the situation in Syria is worsening”, with 55 rebel attacks over the past 24 hours, leading to the deaths of 12 civilians.

Gen Viktor Poznikhir said Russia, an ally of the Syrian government, was doing all it could to rein in Syrian troops.

“If the American side does not take the necessary measures to carry out its obligations… a breakdown of the ceasefire will be on the United States,” he said.

“The United States and the so-called moderate groups they control have not met a single obligation they assumed in the framework of the Geneva agreement.”

The terms require moderate rebel groups to separate themselves from jihadists.Media captionFootage appears to show Free Syrian Army rebels chasing US special forces out of the northern Syrian town of Al-Rai

Gen Poznikhir said: “Our repeated messages to the American side are left without a response. There is doubt that the US is able to influence the moderate opposition they control.”

A US National Security Council spokesman later said: “While there have been challenges on both sides, violence is considerably lower and the cessation is broadly holding.

“What we’re not seeing is humanitarian aid getting through and it will be hard to build confidence on the ground until that occurs.”

Some 20 trucks have been waiting since Monday for safe passage from Turkey into Syria and on to rebel-held east Aleppo.

Truce’s days may be numbered – BBC’s James Longman, Beirut

This was meant to be a trust-building exercise, but nearly a week after the truce began, the blame game has begun.

There was deep scepticism from the rebels about details in the plan which called for their separation from extremist groups. That is why they never formally accepted the deal.

It was always a major sticking point. Were US backed groups supposed to surrender territory to Jabhat Fateh al-Sham? Or were they required to fight them? It was never clear. Either way, the stipulation would leave them far weaker on the battlefield. But refusing and standing in the way of much-needed humanitarian aid would not have been popular.

Now this weekend, the main rebel groups are due to meet to discuss their position. Their mistrust of the government and its Russian allies runs deep. They see the obstruction of aid deliveries on the border as a stalling tactic, and one which they have seen before.

If aid doesn’t reach besieged areas soon, the ceasefire’s days are numbered. And coordinated strikes against IS won’t happen.

Will The Citadel submit to sharia and break 175-year uniform rule for Muslim hijabi?

THIS IS A COPY PASTE FROM THE “CREEPING SHARIA” BLOG SITE: My very limited computer skills do limit my abilities to do some things with computers. These days here in America it seems that even all first graders know more than I do about computers.

Will The Citadel submit to sharia and break 175-year uniform rule for Muslim hijabi?

citadel

Islam does not mean peace. It means SUBMISSION! via The Citadel considers first-ever uniform exception: allowing a Muslim hijab

If the request for the traditional Muslim hair covering is granted, it apparently would be the first exception made to the Citadel’s uniform, which all cadets at the storied public military college in South Carolina are required to wear at nearly all times. (At beaches, for example, college rules stipulate that, “Cadets will change into appropriate swimwear upon arrival and change back into uniform when departing.”) A spokeswoman said that to her knowledge, in its nearly 175-year history, the school has never granted a religious, or other, accommodation that resulted in a change to the uniform.

The college, founded in 1842, has won praise for its academics as well as the leadership skills taught to its 2,300 or so undergraduates, about 170 of whom are women (the school began admitting women in 1996). The college has several Muslim students enrolled now, a spokeswoman said.

She said that to her knowledge, the admitted student had not asked for other accommodations.

Here is the religious accommodation policy: (PDF)

Here are the uniform requirements for cadets: (PDF)

Source: US MILITARY COLLEGE BREAKING 175-Year Code to Appease ONE Muslim Student – DennisMichaelLynch.com

The 175-year-old military college in South Carolina has NEVER made an exception to their uniform policy – for religious reasons or otherwise.  Now, one student has recently requested that she be allowed to wear the hijab, as required by her Muslim faith, and the Citadel is considering the request.

The word is spreading on social media, and fellow students, alumni and others have had plenty to say.   The fact that the very first exception to the uniform rules might be allowed for a Muslim student stings for many.

One cadet, Nick Pinelli, who will graduate in May, wrote his objections on facebook:

It’s no secret that you can’t wear what you want when you’re at the Citadel. You’re punished even for wearing what you want when you’re not on campus. But, those who come here are signing up for that, no matter how much they hate it (we do). So it’s not unfair to those people who want to join an organization with the intentions of excluding themselves from the regulations, it’s unfair to those who practice within the realms of those regulations. It’s unfair to the school having to change rules and adjust to the individual, when the individual could’ve gone to USC without incident. Your expression of self shouldn’t place a burden of cost on others.  It’s not equality to let one of those groups follow a different set of rules.

Another cadet responded:

It is a blatant disrespect to what a military school stands for. We come here and willingly give up our individuality and become a part of a group that upholds the time-honored traditions of this school. So for anyone to come, not even walk through our hallowed gates, and force the school to go to extreme lengths both financially and resource fully, to accommodate one person, isn’t right. I can’t wear a shirt around campus that says “I love Jesujahs”. Why? It’s not because of religious intolerance, it’s because it does not meet uniform requirements that all 2400 of us are held to. Am I offended that I can’t wear a religious shirt? Nope. Why? Because I accepted the system that I have become a part of, and I’m willing to let it change me and join a long line of men and women who I will be honored to call my brothers and sisters.

In Germany, the consequences of allowing Muslims into the military are becoming deadly obvious:  29 German soldiers have joined ISIS, army may contain dozens of jihadist sympathizers – report

German counter-intelligence believes that at least 29 former soldiers from the country have left to join Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. An internal report also revealed that 65 active soldiers are being investigated for alleged jihadist sympathies.

I am a person who though a Christian at heart I was never a fan of Mr.
