U.S. Rep. Steve King, an Iowa Republican who last July said white Christians have contributed more to Western civilization than any other “subgroup,” on Sunday found himself again the subject of criticism, this time for saying that Muslim children are preventing “our civilization” from being restored.

King, who was retweeting a message endorsing Geert Wilders, a far-right candidate for Dutch prime minister, said Wilders “understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”

The original tweet, from the anti-European Union Voice of Europe, media organization, displays a cartoon with an image of Wilders plugging a hole in a wall labeled “Western Civilization.” Nearby, bearded protesters hold signs that say, “Infidels, Know Your Limits” and “Freedom of Speech Go To Hell.”

The caption reads: “Hundreds of Islamists shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Wilders is right for over 10 years.”

King was on the receiving end of criticism from both sides of the political spectrum.

Conservative columnist Bill Kristol tweeted, “Is it worth making the obvious point that what American history has been about is ‘restoring’ ourselves with ‘somebody else’s babies?'”

Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean called King “a total ignoramus and no one takes him seriously. He does give off good quotes to outrage people though.”

In a pair of tweets endorsing King’s tweet, former Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard David Duke said that if Americans were considering moving, “sanity reigns supreme in Iowa’s 4th congressional district,” in the state’s northwest area, which King represents.

The Washington Post last month noted that while just 64% of the U.S. population is white and non-Hispanic, nearly 89% of Iowa’s population describe themselves that way.

Duke on Sunday also tweeted, simply: “GOD BLESS STEVE KING!!! #TruthRISING”

King has often made provocative comments about “civilization” and what he perceives as a declining role in its development for white Christians.

Meeting last September with Wilders and another anti-immigrant politician, Frauke Petry of Germany, King tweeted a photo with the caption, “Cultural suicide by demographic transformation must end.”

During the Republican National Convention in July, King created an uproar by asserting that white people have contributed more to the advancement of human civilization than any other “sub-group of people.”

Last September, King spoke out against silent protests by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, calling them “activism that’s sympathetic to ISIS.”

The often strident Wilders is sometimes referred to as the “Dutch Trump.” He earned the nickname not just for his love of extreme comments — he has tweeted about “left wing elitist losers,” among others — but also for explicit anti-Muslim views. Wilders has called for the Koran to be banned, and his party’s platform calls for prohibiting new mosques, which he compares to “Nazi Temples.” He has also proposed closing Dutch borders and making “the Netherlands ours again,” The Post reported.

Like Trump, Wilders also sports an outrageous blonde hairdo and is married to a woman of Eastern European descent.

Polls for the Netherlands’ March 15 election have shown Wilders in a close race with incumbent Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Ten U.S. States Are Trying To Make Peaceful Protest A Criminal Offence

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF EVAN GREER’S WEBSITE AND FFTF NEWS)

Hi,

Ten states have legislation pending to criminalize some peaceful protest. [1]

80,000 of us have already spoken up about a bill in Washington state, in which any protesters deemed “disruptive” could be charged with “economic terrorism.”[2] But the idea is spreading — in Missouri, wearing a hood at a protest would be considered “criminal identity concealment”; in North Dakota, drivers would be allowed to run over and kill a protester with no legal liability, as long as it was done “negligently.”[3]

These bills are an urgent threat to free speech and patriotic dissent. If we speak up now and raise the alarm, we can make them politically toxic and protect the right to protest.

Sign the petition to stop laws that attack our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and assembly!

No matter what your cause is, we should all have the basic right to speak out — and lots of people have been using it. But powerful and corrupt institutions are threatened by people getting together to make their voices heard, that’s why they want to silence them. So they’re trying to insulate themselves from the public by making it effectively too dangerous to actually use our constitutional right to free speech.

The ten states already considering these bills are Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Virginia, and Washington [4] — click through for links to each bill. Lawmakers seeing these bills fly under the radar could get the wrong idea. We’ve got to speak up now to make sure our ability to speak up on any issue is not silenced.

Authorities argue that these laws are necessary to protect the public from radical protesters. But these laws are not even written to do that — they’re so vague that they could criminalize completely nonviolent protest, or leave it to local authorities to pick and choose the groups they want to silence. Any one of these laws even getting serious debate in a state house is a threat to our freedom to express ourselves, online and offline, everywhere.

Sign the petition to reject laws that criminalize protest!

Fight for the Future exists to support the Internet’s ability to do good. So let’s come together as Internet users to defend our rights.

Sincerely,
Evan

Is Ted Cruz (A) Anti-Christ? Or Is He Simply A Fraud And A Hypocrite?

Texas Senator Ted Cruz has first gone around the state of Texas and now the whole country lying to all he meets by saying he is a practicing Christian when he is by no means any such a thing. Lying, yes lying, plus add in other qualities like a fraud, and a thief. O, and let us not forget that as Mr. Trump said  about Mr. Cruz  when he refereed to him as a “very nasty person”, and Mr. Trump ought to know that quality very well, he has made a lifetime of being nasty to people for the purpose of his own personal gain. The Republican establishment chastised Mr. Trump for those comments even though they all know that he spoke truthfully about Mr. Cruz. The very recently retired Republican House Speaker  (John Boehner) shortly before he retired last year called Mr. Cruz “the biggest ass-hole in the Congress”. But then again when another now former Republican Senator Mr. Bob Dole was their Presidential Candidate they keep quiet that within the Senate he was known as ‘Mr. Nasty’. How does a political party whom claims the highroad claiming to be the most Christian Party put forth and then back people whom they know are very hate-filled people?

Just like ‘we the people’ have learned that Hillary Clinton is an habitual liar and that there is no way to trust anything that comes out of her mouth, Ted Cruz is proving to be the same. Mr. Cruz ran his Texas Senate campaign as him being this staunch conservative Christian yet it has been proven that he  is a liar to the core of his being. He told all the people of Texas how he was the outsider whom was not beholding to the Wall-Street Bankers, that he was a poor man whom had to mortgage all they had to come up with the money to fund his Senate campaign, liar! He received a little over one million dollars from two Wall-Street bank, the biggest was for $700,000.00 from the very bank that his wife worked at. You did hear that correctly. Then by law and by Senate rules when he was elected to the Senate he had to tell them all of the loans that he had (because the people have a right to know whom they/he is beholding too) there too, he lied. He didn’t mention those loans from the Wall-Street Banks because it would have shown the people of the great state of  Texas that he was a liar and a fraud. Now in the first political pony show that was held in Iowa yesterday his personal staffers were calling up other people’s staffers telling them that his Christian opponent Dr. Ben Carson had suspended his campaign when he had done no such a thing. Cruz is the only candidate that pulled this dirty trick. It is said that all is fair in war and politics but this itself is a lie if you are really a Christian. Cruz knew very well that if Dr. Carson did drop out of the race that he (being he claims to be such a Christian) would pick up a lot of Dr. Carson’s Christian voters, thus helping himself and hurting a person whom is an actual Christian.

If a person is truly a Christian we are supposed to try our very best to walk after the heart of God, not be an habitual liar, fraud, thief, law-breaker, and a hypocrite. There is no way that a person whom is a Christian (we must try our best to walk that walk of light everyday of our lives) would ever be considered by those whom know him well as the “biggest ass-hole” in the Congress. Mr. Cruz has proven himself to be little more than an apostasy, at best. At worst, he is one of the Anti-Christs trying to fill the seat of the current Demon that sits in the Oval-Office right now. We the people deserve a lot better human being in the White House than this fraud and habitual liar. Is it possible for Mr. Cruz, Mr. Obama, or Mrs. Clinton to ever speak the truth to the people? They seem to be three of the worse overall quality people who the U.S. Senate has had to offer up as Presidential candidates since, well, Bob Dole.  I don’t mind these folks running for public office because we are all suppose to have that right here in America. My issue with some of these evil characters is when they are claiming to be a Christian when it is very plain that they are capable of anything, no matter how dirty or illegal or unethical they perform their lives. People like Mr. Cruz will say or do anything it takes to win, and friends that is not walking after the heart of Jesus. I believe that Mr. Cruz is a person whom will just make our country even more gridlocked because he refuses any comprise on anything. I am  a conservative Christian person but I am also a realist, if our country, our people, are to prosper and if the Nation is to be strong we can not have a person in the Oval Office whom will never negotiate or compromise in the effort to get our Nation back on our feet again.  This will not with such an habitual liar as Mr. Cruz in the Captains Chair.
