12 Proverbs And Philosophy From My Old Mind

Here in the 21st century how many Christians still observe the day given as Christ’s Birthday, as His Birthday? Yet, it seems that so few choose to walk in His principles. So, is it easier to keep this Holiday, or His Birthday than it is to keep His Commandments? Or, in this modern age are His words of no matter because we judge ourselves by our own righteousness?

America, if we the people give up the Liberty of the Second Amendment believing that the Government will protect us in our times of peril then we will most certainly lose our freedom, our God-given rights, our Country, and our lives.

Where you have liberty and all of the basic human rights given to you by God Himself, then you have a Country worth fighting for. If you do not have these things then you do not have a Country, all you have is labor and death to leave to your children and their children.

We should all work each day as though we will grow old. Yet each night we should bow our knees and pray that we do not die on the morrow.

Does anyone really own the title to a piece of land? Remember, the Lord gives and if He wishes, the Lord has every right to take away. All things belong to the Lord for they were His before us and they will be His after even the thought of us is gone. Yet no free people can tolerate a Government that puts themselves upon God’s Throne. Governments do not give freedom to the people. It is the people who allow the Government to exist, not the other way around!

A free people’s rights come from the laws of God, not from inside the D.C. Beltway!

What will be the American History of 2018 that is left to the future generations, if indeed there be any? Is this generation truly nothing but Donkey dung or Elephant manure? For what good or what freedom can come from the mouth’s of two Domesticated Beasts who’s master is a Dragon?

If the people are allowed to have no freedom of choice by their Government then the people’s only free choice is to remove that Government!

We have all heard the old saying about their being too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. Yet if the labor of multitudes of Indians go only to behoove a small number of Chiefs, these few Chiefs will grow to consider the many who made them what they are as nothing but parasites not even worthy of their crumbs!

As death draws us near to our bed what is it that we hope for or believe? Did we leave God’s Light in the eyes of our children or the love of freedom upon their hearts? Or, will the memory of us be forgotten once the dirt is shoveled upon our face?

If “We The People” are so ignorant as to send Lawyers to be in “Our Congress” how can we expect anything except double talk as they fill their pockets at the people’s expense?

If a person in your country seeks a position of power and they request you have confidence in them, consider their request if you wish. Yet make sure of two things. Make sure that their feet are bound with chains to your country’s Constitution, and their heart to the Constitution of ‘The’ Creator. For if either one is not bound as such, the people will know only misery, poverty, and an early death!

(I hope that you liked at least some or even one of these and if not, I hope that they at least made you either smile, or think. Good night, and God bless.)

Honest, Truthful American History

Honest, Truthful American History

On old wooden leaky boats smaller than a rich mans toys

We all climbed in and to this new world we set our sails

There’s some that have joined us who are looking for gold and fame

Most came for the hope of land that they could till in their own name

Roanoke Island, Jamestown on the river off the Chesapeake Bay

To Plymouth by the Rock these old creaky boats found their way

Pushed, pulled and chased yet most whites came by their own will

Many really had no choice, poverty and the laws chased them away

This strange new world with all this lumber and open land to claim

An extension of Heaven to all white males this land lays in wait

Wait, who are these strange red faces, with arrows pointed our way

Indians, so-called by Captain Columbus and his misfit crews I think

America, with all these wide open spaces surely I can make my way

White male land owners ordained, we shall be from sea to shining sea

These Indians don’t matter there just good excuse to use our black powder

What our white mans diseases don’t wipe out we will turn into our slaves

America, Valhalla to all white males who have the guts, guns and gold to stay

Kill all the Indian Braves then turn all who are left breathing into our slaves

The Chinese aren’t white so we can use them like dogs to lay our steel highways

Then these Black Devils from Africa, they are only good for work, whips and chains

Why should we be forced to stop at our borders whether by land or by the seas

Canada to our north settled by the French so of course we have every right to invade

To our south we burst through their front door to Mexico City we rode without shame

Spanish, Mexicans and them damn Indians, if we killed them all who would care anyway

Our gold bought Alaska from those Russians so damn it, no war, we didn’t get to play

Then of course there were those primitive Hawaiians, not knowing what we had in store

With big guns and ships we invaded their Islands, killed half the men, imprisoned their Queen

Now their land is our land as we buried our flag in their sand, you know we always want more

Is it through ego or arrogance that why some of us don’t understand the outside world

Why do some roll their eyes and snicker when we say that peace and human rights are our stay

America, I do still believe that she is the best nation to ever give her people a somewhat honest chance

So don’t get angry when others see us different, just look at Nixon, Trump the Bushes and Guantanamo Bay

Racist Folks In America

Racist Folks In America

Before I get into this post where I am giving you my opinions and beliefs about this subject matter I though it would be a good thing to see exactly what the dictionary had to say about the issue first so I copy pasted that definition next.

racism definition

The belief that some races are inherently superior (physically, intellectually, or culturally) to others and therefore have a right to dominate them. In the United States, racism, particularly by whites against blacks, has created profound racial tension and conflict in virtually all aspects of American society. Until the breakthroughs achieved by the civil rights movement in the 1950s and 1960s, white domination over blacks was institutionalized and supported in all branches and levels of government, by denying blacks their civil rights and opportunities to participate in political, economic, and social communities.

I am a white man who was born in the southeastern United States in 1956. The town I was born in had a population during the night-time of about 7,000 people where about 6,500 were white folks and black folks made up almost all of the other 500 people as back then I do not remember any other nationalities being present. (The town population during the day time was about 20,000 as the smaller communities came to town to work in the factories). We moved away from Virginia on my ninth birthday in 1965 to the Black Hills of South Dakota where we lived for 15 months before we moved to norther Illinois about 80 miles west of Chicago. I have spent almost all of my adult life either in Texas or in a few different south-eastern states. I give you this information for clarity purposes so that you don’t have to guess. Most all of my adult life I drove a truck as a long haul driver running the lower 48 states and Canada. I did this from 1981-2013 until my old military injuries made it impossible to continue working and I had to retire in June of 2013. I logged over five million miles behind the windshield of a truck, during this time I picked up and delivered to several thousand different businesses and had the opportunity to speak with thousands of different people all over the U.S. and Canada and to listen to the different things and opinions of a wide groups of people. I am going to tell you the opinions I have garnered throughout my life time on the race issue.
First, as a young child the town I was born in is in a bit of a valley, on the north hill of the town was where almost all black folks lived and I still remember that community being called “nigger hill”. While we lived there I was young and oblivious to the plight of black folks because I pretty much never saw any and race was an issue that was not a topic in our household. I was never a person that cared at all what color any person was, I didn’t know then that race was an issue in our country. There is no doubt in my mind that by the Scriptures of the New Testament and by the teachings of Jesus Christ that this hatred of racism is a huge sin trap that has and will get millions if not billions of people condemned at their judgement before Christ and His angels. When Jesus rose from the dead in 29 A.D. all people’s became eligible to be brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. Remember, “all tongues, all nations”, not just white, or brown, or black folks, all who come to Christ makes us all one family under God. Remember Jesus said “if we hate our brother without a cause then we are condemning our own souls”. Without a cause, simply meaning that if we hate a person or persons because of something that is not the persons fault then we are the sinners who do that. People, what color we have on our skin when we come out of the womb is something we have no say so in. If I hate you simply because you are not white or you hate me solely because I am white, we will be living in the same flames of Hell forever.
What I have learned from American history books and from those who are older than I am about how all minorities were treated, as a Christian just makes me sick at my stomach. In 1968 when Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered in Memphis Tennessee I was not quite twelve years old and it was the first time I had ever heard of him. From this point on is where I started learning about race issues here in America. These are my opinions on what I have learned during these past 50 years. One, Dr. King was a very good person who was for non-violent equality for “all people” but many of the people who want to hold him up as a great “black leader” pay no attention to the things he fought and died for as a human being and as a Christian. I totally believe that Dr. King would be absolutely shocked and disgusted at how horrible and evil so many are today that claim to be black leaders, especially those who dare call themselves Christians.
Before the Civil Rights movement started in earnest during the mid to late 1960’s I personally could not blame all non-white folks if they hated every white person on the planet. These older folks (today I am mainly only talking about black folks) that lived through the times of blatant institutional racism in every corner of this country, they are entitled to hate if anyone is actually entitled to such a thing, not so much the black folks who have only lived here during the past 45 years or so. Almost every where I traveled throughout the country I witnessed racism. But, by far the most racist hate filled people have been young (under 50) black folks. I have found that race and what color people are tend to be a constant verbal subject. The less educated people are the more racist it seems, they tend to be ones who think it is cool to act big and bad and gangster and then wonder why other races shun them. When I have been around different nationalities of people they are not talking about colors of people simply because most people simply do not care what your skin color is, they only care about if a person is a good person, a good worker, or a good neighbor. When I have been working around groups of younger black males in particular race seems to be the issue of discussion about 80% or so of the time.
I tend to watch the ABC Evening News now that I am home all the time but I think I am going to switch over full-time to watching of the BBC News because of the blatant racism of the programs and their commentators in general at ABC. An example of this is when there were several black churches in the St. Louis Missouri area that were burnt down via arson. It was a story until law enforcement arrested the person who they say did it, then it became a non-story because it was a black man who did it. We all know very well that if it had been a white person who did it the media would have been jumping all over the news wires with that story. For those of us who are old enough, do you remember back in about 1981-2 there were a lot of young black folks being murdered around Atlanta Georgia and it was a huge deal as it should have been, up until they caught the person and he was a black man, story over. Just as you never hear of the times when a black police officer shoots and or beats up non-blacks, especially whites. Here in America the black population is supposed to be about 14% compared to about 50% white yet year after year the stats show that per ratio black on white violence is at a five to one rate yet the media stays quiet on telling the truth on any of these issues.
You hear a lot from racist black folks like some of the swindlers that call themselves preachers who have little in common with Christianity. The un-humorist part of this is how the younger black folks are turning away from Christianity calling it a white people’s religion, this is very stupid and very racist. Also just look around at the first names young black people are calling their children by, anything but a Biblical name. For years now I have seen and heard black women who refuse to shave the hair from their arm pits or on their legs saying they weren’t because they don’t want to “be like them white bitches”. True there are still racist in every color of skin including white folks but the American black culture is its own worse enemy at the current time. You still hear the stupidity of many uneducated black folks talking about how “we used to be slaves” so they feel that the Nation owes them a good living because of it. Not one of these people who were born in this country has ever been a slave, nor does anyone even know a person who used to be a slave. If the history books had not printed it most would not know that history, and that history is without a doubt sickening. Plus none of the white folks alive today have ever at any time owned any slaves. Besides back in the early and mid 1800’s most white folks were nothing but sharecroppers and peasants. They never owned any slaves either, there were very few slave owners, you had to be rich and you to own land. So today, no one ‘owes’ anyone a free-living, we all have to go out and earn it.
Don’t believe me, then think of these issues. Black History Month, NAACP, Black Churches, Black Miss America Pageant, Black Colleges and the Negro College Fund, TV programs called ‘Blackish’, BET (Black Entertainment Television) and such lists go on and on. Now what if there was such a thing as White History Month, National Association Of White People, White Churches or a White only Miss America Pageant, White Colleges or the White Peoples College Fund, ‘Whiteish’ TV programs and WET (White Entertainment Television)? Black folks as well as all non-white people would have every right to be boiling mad about such blatant racism yet American Black society thinks it is okay for themselves to be racist. These people are dead wrong so I just hope that before each one of those folks die that they see the sins they themselves are guilty of. For all people’s of the Earth, if we are racist in our hearts, we are Hell bound! All racism is evil, all racism is a product of Satan, don’t get me wrong, I have known and witnessed a whole lot of racism toward Blacks, Hispanics, Indians and Asians by white people and every thing about it is sickening and evil. Yet I as a white person have experienced pure hatred simply because I am a white person by people from all of the races I just mentioned but by far the most hatred I have experienced has come from younger black folks. Yet I know from experience that when we met they were just taking it for granted that because I was white, I was a racist. I have had quite a few black friends throughout the years and all it took was for them to realize that I really didn’t give a damn that they were black. We as a Nation, we as a world, we have got to stop this stupidly, this evil, or we are going to implode.

Is Black History Month Simply Racists?

IS BLACK HISTORY MONTH SIMPLY RACISTS?

I hope that you noticed that I posed this title as a question and not as a statement. I am going to be posing this article in questioning form, I am trying to get all of us to think, to look inside ourselves to discover, what do we think about these questions. First let us start with Black History Month, is its whole concept derived off of racism? Are the politicians, mostly the Democrats simply bowing down to a group of people who normally vote about 90% for Democrats? Why is there only one non-politician (Doctor Martin Luther King Jr.) who has their birthday as a Federal Holiday? Is it because he was a Black man? In all of U.S. history is Doctor King the only person who really stands out as a special human being deserving of having a Federal Holiday in honor of them? Personally I am in favor of Doctor King being honored in this way, I feel that the man deserves it, but aren’t there others, is he the only one?

I have seen in the past when a business celebrates a certain ethnic day, where the company lets a certain group of their employees get the day off or throw a special lunching for just one ethnic group, it causes a lot of friction within the rank and file of their employees. To me, if we are going to do such things as a Nation then we need to vastly expand it, or end it all together. Just as there are institutions within the Black community where we have organizations like the NAACP, the Negro College Fund, Black Colleges, Black Miss America, shouldn’t we also have things like this for all of the other nationalities? Doesn’t it have to be all or none? What would be wrong with the National Association For The Advancement of Oriental People, Hispanic People or European People? Would that be racists? If we had the National White College Fund or the White Miss America Pageant, or Miss Oriental Miss America Pageant or how about the Hispanic College Fund, are these ideas racists? Is the concept of Nation Indian American Pageant or Indian College Fund racists?

When it is only one group which is based on skin color, to me it sure looks like the pure definition of racism. What makes it worse is when you have so-called Leaders of that Nationality group who do things like deny that the Holocaust ever happened because they want to say that they, their group, their ethnicity, is the only group that has ever been treated horribly, folks, that is racism. Should we as a Nation honor the other Nationalities? Should March be National Arab Month? Should April be National Persian Month? May National Hispanic Month? The list could go on and on, should we as a Nation do this? Should the same things be evaluated concerning the Colleges and College funds? The Miss America Pageant, should we have one for every race, for every mixed race? As I said, this article today is posed as a question to you, to get us all to think, what is okay, what is racist, what should we as a Nation say yes or no to? If you would, please leave me your thoughts in the comment section, I always do my best to answer all comments within 24 hours when ever possible. Thank you for the kindness of your time, I appreciate you stopping in.

The Land: Israel And The Palestinians: And The U.S. And The Native Indians

Most people in the ‘wired’ world of today know about the struggles in the Holy Lands of Israel between the Nation of Israel and the displaced Palestinian population. For those of you who do not know the back story of this issue I will try to condense this issue into just a few sentences so as to not make a book out of this article. When World War Two broke out the Ottoman Empire ruled the current land of Israel. After the war the British took control of that region but in the U.N. in 1947 a resolution was passed to recreate the Nation of Israel so that the displaced Jewish population could have a Nation of their own again, and this came about in 1948. Because of all the turmoil in the U.N. about this issue the Jewish people were only given a small sliver of the land that they used to call home for over 2,000 years. The British had made an agreement with the U.N. that they would pull out of Palestine in May of 1948 and then give this land to the Jewish people for their homeland. It is sad that the people who lived there were displaced, these folks years later became known as the Palestinians, refugees, a people with no ‘home’. These ‘Refugees’ were eventually taken in by Jordan but were kicked out in 1967, again making them homeless. The Islamic people of the Middle-East own about 99% of the land in this region of the world yet none of them (except for the short stint in Jordan) would let them into their countries. Either this issue shows that the ‘Palestinians people’ are very lousy guests, and/or the Islamic countries of the region are really lousy hosts, or possibly both? I say that because a brother is suppose to take in and to help when their brothers and sisters are in need but the Islamic Nations have not done that.

In 1948 on the day that the British completed their pull out the tiny newborn Nation of Israel was attacked by all of their Arab neighbors in an attempt to push all of the Jewish people into the Mediterranean Sea. To make a long story shorter, the people of Israel won that war but just 19 years later the Arab Nations of the Middle-East attacked Israel once again in what has become know as the Six Day War. In this war which Israel won they captured a lot more land from the Arab population who had attacked Israel. Among the lands captured was the Golan Heights in the north and they captured the rest of Jerusalem, to the south they also captured the West Bank and Gaza all the way down to the border with Egypt. The people who started the war who were in the lands that Israel recovered were also now displaced adding to a lousy situation for the Islamic people who caused the war. By my understanding it is the land that Israel recaptured in that six-day war of 1967 that has been causing the biggest conflict with the U.N. (among others). It is this land that has become known as the “occupied territories”. Some world leaders think that Israel has no rights to this land and should not build anything on it.

Israel was given a much larger piece of the land by God Himself somewhere around the human year of 1,800 B.C.. They lived on this land until about the year 630 A.D. when Mohammad’s army murdered their way through many countries including the land that belonged to Israel. So, here is where I want to start making some comparisons with land issues inside the U.S.. The Islamic people in Palestine had lived in what is now Israel for about 1,400 years before the U.N. gave some of it back to Israel, it is easy to understand why the ‘displaced’ people are mad at the people who now live on that land. Yet they refuse to accept the fact that there was ever a Nation of Israel before the time of Mohammad no matter how much evidence they are shown. What I am saying is the people of Israel simply took back some of what was their own in 1948 and then again in 1967. In 2005 the Israeli government in an attempt for peace gave back the ‘West Bank’ and the Gaza Strip so that the Palestinian people could have a home of their own since none of the Arab countries would ever allow them to settle in any of their countries. Land for peace is what this event was called, that concept failed, all it did was to give Israel’s haters closer Bases in which to attack Israel from. I have often wondered why if there is going to be a ‘two nation’ reality why can’t the ‘West Bank’ be given “Statehood” status? With Hamas ruling the Gaza Strip there is no way to allow them to become a State. So, who’s land is it in your eyes?

Now I would like to talk about the Native American ‘Indians’ and their rights to the land that we call America. A little over 500 years ago Europeans discovered North America and started settling it as if the land was barren of other human beings. Most Europeans did not consider the Indian people who were already here, and had been for thousands of years, as being humans, they demonized them as nothing but Savages. For the next 400 years Europeans kept marching west, killing the Indian people and taking their lands. By the late 1800’s America reached from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and the Native Americans had almost been exterminated. When the newspapers in the east started showing and telling the people what was being done to the Indian people they raised such a ruckus that the extermination concept ended and the concept of Reservations began. The Indian people were ‘given’ the worst of the worst lands to be exiled upon, these were lands that the white man didn’t want, so the Indian people were forced to live there.

I am going to make a small example for the purpose of easy clarity. There is a large Navajo Reservation in southwest New Mexico and part of eastern Arizona. I am going to use them in this example. When Europeans discovered what is today the State of New Mexico less than 300 years ago they began ‘settling’ it by removing the Native Americans who had lived there for thousands of years. If today the Navajo people decided that they were tired of living on their Reservation and told the white, black and Mexican people to move off of their land or they would be removed by the Navajo Nation, what do you think would be the result? I know this would not happen, it’s just a conversation point, but what if the U.S. Government said, okay we agree with you so all non-Indian people have to leave the state of New Mexico, what do you think would happen? Now put that concept to all of the 50 States, if the United Nations and the World Court ruled in favor of the Native Americans and they told all of us non-indigenous people to pack up and get off of the Native Americans land, where would we all go? I honestly believe that the Native American people do have the right to tell us all to get off of their land, after all it was stolen by the end of a gun from them. Now back to Israel and the Palestinian people, the Islamic people stole the land  from the Jewish people at the point of a blade, they either had to leave their homes or die. What I am saying is that there is no such thing as Israel’s “occupation” of Arab lands, there is no such thing as Israel building on occupied lands. Just as the correct thing to do here in North America is to give back the occupied lands to its rightful owners because they were well established here long before Europeans crossed the Atlantic, the people of Islam should give back all of the land that was Israel before they were stolen from them. Here in North America there is an occupation” going on right now and has been for about 500 years. In Israel the only “occupation” going on is in the lands where believers of Islam are occupying land that belongs to Israel, it is not the other way around. I hope you liked the article, I am just trying to get people to think and to consider the truth of history.

Revelation Chapter #5

Revelation Chapter #5

The time frame of chapter number five occurs right after the Rapture (the second advent/coming) of Christ. So, at this time “the Church” which is the “Bride of Christ” is in Heaven. This chapter is the start of the 7 year Tribulation period here on Earth. The Tribulation itself will be covered in chapters 6-18. This fifth chapter only has 14 verses in it, so, like chapter number four, it is quite short. In this chapter verses 1-4 we will discuss “The Book with the Seven Seals.” In verses 5-10 the subject matter is the Lord Jesus Christ (Yeshua) who is “the Lamb of God” who shed His blood to save us all. Also here Jesus is referred to as “the Lion of the Tribe of Juda.” In verses 11 and 12 we find where the Angels are singing songs of praise to the Lord Jesus (Yeshua). This chapter finishes off with the last two verses with all the Creatures in Heaven and Earth giving praise to the Saviour who lives for ever and ever.

Now, if you would, please get out a Bible if you happen to have one and follow along with me on these 14 verses. “And I (the Apostle John) saw in the right hand of Him that sat upon the Throne a book written within and on it’s back side which was sealed with Seven Seals.”

“And I saw a strong Angel proclaiming with a loud voice, who is worthy to open the Book and to undo the Seals there of?”

“And no man in Heaven nor in Earth, neither under the Earth, was able to open the Book, nor to look thereon.”

“And I wept bitterly because no man was found worthy to open and to read the Book, nor to look upon it.”

“And one of the Elders (one of the 24 with the Golden Crowns) said to me , weep not: behold, the Lion of the Tribe of Juda, the Root of David, has overcome and can open the Book and is able to undo the Seven Seals thereof.”

“And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the Throne and of the four Beasts and in the midst of the Elders, stood a Lamb as if it had been slain having seven Horns and seven Eyes, which are the Seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the Earth.” (The seven Spirits are the seven Archangels of God who normally surround the Throne of God in Heaven.)

“And He came and took the Book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the Throne.”

“And when He had taken the Book, the four Beasts and the 24 Elders fell down before the Lamb, every one of them having harps and golden bowls full of incense which is the prayers of the Saints.”

“And they sang a new song saying, You are worthy to take the Book and to open the Seals thereof. For You were slain and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every kindred and tongue, and people and Nation.”

“And You have made us unto our God, Kings and Priests, and we shall Reign on the Earth.”

“And I beheld and I heard the voice of many Angels round about the Throne and the Beasts and the Elders, and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands.”

“They were saying with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessings.”

“And every Creature that was in Heaven and on the Earth and under the Earth and those that were in the Sea and all that are in them I heard saying, blessings and honor and glory and power, be unto Him that sits upon the Throne and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”

“And the four Beasts said, Amen, and the 24 Elders fell down and worshiped Him that lives for ever and ever.”

Okay friends that is the 14 verses, even though this is a short chapter it does give us quite a bit of information. I am going to take a few moments to breakdown this information to try to help folks who are new to this Book to understand a little bit more of its meanings. The first thing that we must understand it that Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and He is the ‘Lamb of God’ the Father (Yahweh). Jesus (Yeshua) is also the centerpiece of this chapter and of the whole Book of Revelation. In verses 1-4 the subject of discussion is the Book with the Seven Seals. This Book was in the hands of He who sat upon the Throne, this “He” is/was God the Father (Yahweh) and the only one that was worthy to unseal the Seven Seals and to be able to open the Book was the “Lamb of God” which was/is Jesus (Yeshua). Scripture does not say exactly what this Book is called though a lot of folks believe this is the “Book of Judgement.” There are also many folks, like myself, who believe that it is basically a “Title to or a Deed” to this world, remember, Jesus bought this World with His own blood, He owns it. If you would, please read in the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament chapter 7 verses 13 & 14, this should help clarify what I am speaking of.

In verse 7 Jesus came and took this Book out of the hand of the Father. In verse 8 Jesus had this book in His hand and the 4 Beasts and the 24 Elders fell down before Him and worshiped Him. There is something else in verse 8 that needs to be clarified and that is about the Bowls of Incense that each of the Elders had and we are told that these contained the prayers of the Saints. Saints are simply the people who are true believers and followers of Christ. Before the Tribulation Jesus was/is the Intercessor (the go between) for the faithful to “The Father” but at that time the Church is in Heaven so Jesus transforms to the role of Judge. This is an event as this is when the Tribulation phase begins.

I would like us all to take a close look at chapter 5 verse 9. When Jesus was killed He redeemed all of us to the Holy Father by His own blood. If Jesus had not done this we would all just be the walking dead, spiritually speaking. If the Jews of Jerusalem had not had Jesus killed, the only ones who would have been able to be saved would have been the Jewish people with 100% Hebrew blood. Because God the Father hardened the hearts of the people so that they would do this horrible thing, all people, all of us today, can be saved from the eternal fires of Hell. This verse and this chapter tell us that if you are a racist who believes that only one skin color or one nationality is going to be saved and that all the ‘other people’ are going to Hell, you need to wake up and read the Scriptures because what you are saying is contrary to the teachings of God. What part of this message is beyond your ability to understand? The blood of Jesus redeemed people of “every kindred, of all people, of all languages from every nation.” Folks, there is no one skin color that is ‘privileged’ above another!

In verse number 10 it reads “and He (Jesus) has made us to be unto God Kings and Priests.” Please also note the final sentence. “We shall reign upon the Earth.” Many people (I believe, through their ego’s) believe that this sentence is speaking to everyone who is faithful to the end of their lives to Christ. I do not believe this, think about it, this idea would create a situation where the Earth would be full of Chiefs, with no Indians. I believe that this statement was to these 24 Elders. A lot of Scriptures are misunderstood because people do not take into account the situations of who is talking to whom about what, and what the issue at the time of the conversations. Way too often people want to take Scriptures out of their context so that it will apply directly to themselves when the conversation was much more narrow in its context. The last sentence in this verse the “We shall reign upon the Earth” throws a lot off of their personal train track because they have been being taught in their Churches that  we “God’s Saints” will live forever in Heaven with Christ Jesus. The Scriptures do not teach that! The Scriptures teach plainly that Jesus will rule on the Earth from the new Jerusalem that will come down out of Heaven, remember, the Earth is God’s footstool! The Earth is where God/Jesus will create a new Earth and this will be His Kingdom.

In verses 11 and 12 John simply tells of the many thousands of Angels who were worshiping  singing praise to the Lamb of God (the Christ, Jesus). John simply was telling us that there were to many Angels for him to count. In the last two verses 13 & 14 John speaks of all the Creatures in Heaven and on Earth and those under the Earth whom were also singing praise to the Lamb of God who “lives for ever and ever.” Folks, I hope that this breakdown was helpful to you in your understanding of this chapter. Hopefully I will be able to get chapter #6 written out and broken down for you within the next couple of days. Until then, God’s peace and love to you and your’s. Shalom

LAS VEGAS – The American Indian Gaming Association (AGA) in partnership with the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) developed a strong tribal gaming educational track at the 2016 Global Gaming Expo (G2E), and one of the major highlights was the Tribal Leaders Roundtable on Tuesday, September 27 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

The “Tribal Gaming Round table,” panel moderated by NIGA Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr. with tribal leadership panelist that included Brian Patterson, President of the United South East Tribes (USET), Louis Manual, Chairman of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association and Bobby Soper, President and CEO, Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority took place to discuss some of the pressing issues Gaming Tribes are facing.
Stevens opened the panel by saying, “I am excited to be here. It is so powerful when you sit amongst the Indian gaming world and you look around to see so many from the Indian gaming regions represented in one room.  I am excited about where this industry has come.   From the days of educating and fighting for our right to Game to today, where we had a historical coming together of commercial and tribal gaming on the main stage of G2E.  It is an honor and a privilege for me to represent the Indian Gaming industry.  Indian country walks side by side with the other players in the industry.  We’ve come a long way in this industry and we are now the experts and are parallel with others in the industry.”
To begin the discussions of the panel about the tribal government gaming industry, Chairman Stevens started the panel discussions by asking about tribes pursing commercial gaming licensing and economic diversification by tribes.
Soper said, “Our tribe made a conscious decision many years ago that we wanted to pursue opportunities to diversify our economic base and one of those pursuits is to take our profits from gaming and invest them outside the reservation.  Our first project in 2006 was our Casino [Mohegan Sun Pocono] in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, and it exceeded expectations.  Since that time we have expanded and have properties in Atlantic City, Louisiana, Washington State and will soon begin a project in Korea.  We have successfully established partnerships with other tribes and now we want to diversify internationally.”  He continued, “When you diversify commercially and have assets off the reservation, you generate greater creditability, and it allows you greater opportunities to continue to diversify.”
Patterson expanded upon Soper’s discussion and commended the Mohegan and Mashantucket Pequot tribes as an excellent example of leadership in action.  It amazes me that Indian Country has the strength, courage, and stamina to govern one of the most regulated industries there is.  He continued, “We know that nearly every aspect of economic development is controlled in some way by the Federal Government.  The Trust relationship must be modernized to overcome barriers.  He explained that it would require a change in the Federal government mentality for tribes to create economic opportunities that will advance their tribes and be self-sufficient.”
Chairman Manuel told the crowd that “Gaming has provided us the opportunity to progress and diversify. I remember we used to have to choose which bills to pay and now we have built upon gaming with a golf course, airport, and a movie theater entertainment complex and a water treatment facility.  So those opportunities are just examples of going beyond gaming.”
Stevens asked the panel to discuss issues surrounding dealing with Unions and the Tribal Labor Sovereignty Act.  “They think we are anti-union.  But we are pro-sovereignty.”
Soper said, “Unions are a tough issue because it is an issue of sovereignty and it’s also a political issue, so you have the two competing interests. The more we can position it as an issue of sovereignty (self-governing authority), I think the more successful we are going to be.  Once you start comprising the basic principles of sovereignty in any context, then you venture back to that slippery slope.  It is very important to hold firm on these principles.”
President Patterson echoed, it is not necessarily that we are anti-union people, it is more in the sense that we are just self-determined in our course of action.” He talked about the results of self-determination at the Oneida Nation of New York and said that in FY 2015, the Oneida Nation of New York paid over $127 million dollars in wages to approximately 4, 446 employees, with employees paying more than $12 million dollars in federal payroll taxes and some $4.4 million in State taxes and the Nation has made upward of $4 million in matching contributions to employees 401-K retirement accounts.  He said, “The point I’m making is that the nation has done our best to take care of its workforce and their families.  We are meeting their needs, we are taking care of their families, and they can build a sound career, and the tribe is self-sufficient in determining their own labor actions.  Tribal Governments do act responsibly.”
Chairman Manuel spoke about the Ak-Chin Indian Community and agreed that it is about self-governance and self-determination.  “We have to take care of our employees.  We have to make sure we are not limited in our ability to develop our own policies and regulations, staying in line with the real meaning of sovereignty.”
The leadership panel rounded out the discussions giving final comments on the future of Indian Gaming and Indian Economic Diversification beyond gaming.  Soper told the attendees that there is still a lot of work to do as it relates to the future of economic sustainability. “There is still the need to educate others about tribes. We have to preserve our economic base. Indian gaming is a powerhouse, and it is very important that we protect that.  I think in the next decade or two, we are going to be more prominent as an industry.”
Patterson said, “There is a real strength in solidarity in Indian Country.  We must remain solid and accountable to each other in unity.  As we look at the tremendous benefit of Indian gaming, it is important that we continue to look at economic diversity, to build strong economic communities.”
Chairman Manuel also expressed the importance of unity.  He said, “The key is that we need to work together and he stressed that we must always remember our future.  We have fought so long for our gaming compacts so that we can remain self-sufficient.  We must be careful with what we give away.”
Chairman Stevens concluded by saying, “Our work is never done.  Too many Tribes are on the outside looking in, unable to take advantage of gaming because the market isn’t there.  We have to create other economic opportunities for all Tribes.  We must continue working with one another to further economic gains for all Tribes and we must be vigilant in the continued protection of Indian Gaming and Tribal Sovereignty.”
