(Philosophy Poem) I Thought To Late

I Thought To Late

I had the chance to except your love

Almost changed the way I live my life

Yet my own self love got in the way

Got scared and asked You please, not today

Come back again when I am old and gray

Go away now Holy Man your messing up my day

You have tried to change the way I think and live

Someday I may convert but today is not the day

Life’s joys are many and I won’t to live them all

It is many years till my sun will set so today I play

My life is filled with golden lace and many riches all

I fear no foe for I am young, strong, handsome and tall

Again you told me of the Lord of Light and His loving call

You almost persuaded me to pick up His Cross and follow

Woke up this morning with a hot pitchfork stuck in my side

Lights of life they dimmed so quick I think I thought to late

Holy Man By Choice, And/Or By Grace

HOLY MAN/OR WOMAN BOTH CHOICE AND GRACE

Like it or not we all are what we are

We can choose our path, to the light or the dark

If we choose to walk in darkness, that is our choice

The light still shines even then, if we choose to see

We choose to walk in and stay in the light or the dark

Not by accident, it is a choice that each of us make

I am what I am because I love the Son of God,

But do we love God more than the toys of man

We all sin daily for just like you, I am just a man

If I forgive, and hold not against you

Will you in like kindness, give, as I give to you

Being a Man of God is an honor given

Not from our own righteousness, but grace

For such kindness is given, only from above

It is difficult to have the heart of a hawk

And yet to have the spirit of a dove

Being a Man of God, is something I long prayed for

To have a soul full of God’s Spirit, love and Grace

Always willing to speak what you now know is the truth

The world will rage at the words that you dare to speak

Being kind, decent, and loving is no life for the meek!

(Spiritual Poem) Holy Man By Choice And By Grace

HOLY MAN (OR WOMAN) BY CHOICE AND BY GRACE

Like it or not we are what we are chosen and given

We can choose our path, to the light or to the dark

If we choose to walk in darkness, that is our choice

The light still shines even then, if we see it or not

We choose to walk in the light or the shadows dark

Not by accident, because it is a choice that’s made

I am what I am whether with a Halo or a Pitchfork

Do we love the Son of God, more than mans toys

We all sin daily for just like you, I am only a man

Holy Ones have the Soul of a Lion and heart of a dove

If I forgive, and hold not your sins against you

Will you in like kindness, give, as I give to you

Being a Man of God is an honor it is Lord given

Not from our own righteousness, but His grace

For such kindness is given, only from above

Being a Man of God, is something I long prayed to be

To have my Soul full of strength and my heart of love

Always willing to speak what we now know is the truth

The world will rage at the words that we dare to speak

Being kind, decent, and loving is not a life for the meek

To Be Holy: God’s Grace First, Then Our Choice

HOLY MAN/OR WOMAN BOTH CHOICE AND GRACE

Holy Man (Or Woman)

Like it or not we are what we are

We can choose our path, to the light or the dark

If we choose to walk in darkness, that is our choice

The light still shines even then, if only we could see

We choose to walk in and stay in the light from inside

Not by accident, because it is a choice that’s made

I am what I am because I choose, and God’s grace

I love the Son of God, more than the toys of man

We all sin daily for we are but filthy rags

For like you, I am just a man

If I forgive, and hold not against you

Will you in like kindness, give, as I give to you

Being a Man of God is an honor given

Not from our own righteousness, but grace

For such kindness is given, only from above

It is difficult to have the heart of a hawk

And the spirit of a dove

Being a Man of God, is something I long prayed for

A soul full of God’s love and body filled with His Spirit

Always willing to speak what you now know is the truth

The world will rage at the words that you speak

Being kind, decent, and loving is no life for the meek.
