Theology Poem: The Path Of The Fool

The Path Of The Fool

He that walks in darkness shall lose his Soul

The Wise ponder the Lord’s will day and night

The words of darkness are like unto a dry river

Evil hearts are like a garden planted in the dust

Food’s of darkness will wither and be cast into the fire

Why do the Evil rage at acts of kindness and goodness

The Rulers and the Rich conspire against God’s Holy One

Steel bands are out upon the hands and feet of the innocent

They steal the lands and the food from the table of the fatherless

The Father is watching from His Throne and is filled with rath

The Heathen are but chafe for the fires prepared for them

The Lord shall break them into peaces like dried clay pots

The Son shall sit upon the Temple Mount and rule His creation

A wise man serves the Lord with fear and with a heart of love

He who chooses darkness walks his own Soul into the fire

(Theology Poem) Publicans

PUBLICANS

Publicans, do we even know what they be

This is a Jew, who takes your money to a King

Tax Collectors, who are often guilty of extortion

Publicans, even the Lord Jesus called them sinners

Tax Collectors and Whores classed together as one

Self Righteous puff themselves up above, such low caste

Is anything lower than a Publican, maybe a snake in grass

We should pray for these evil ones who persecute and use us

What reward for us is there in Heaven if we act as one of them

Yet if we, only salute our loved ones, do not Publicans the same

Do we thank the Lord that we are not as any of these sinful ones

Is not the definition of a Heathen and a Publican the very same

Often those Society think is horrible, they are aware of their sins

Yet the self-righteous so often only show kindness to themselves

Who in deed is the real sinner, is it the Publican, or is it really us
