(Religious Poem) We Are All Slaves Or Servants

WE ARE ALL SLAVES OR SERVANTS

Slavery we all know is a state of unwanted human bondage

We think we are free because we do not see the bonds or chains

Unlike Libya we do not hear our name called at the auction stocks

Yet, we were all purchased from the womb, a true blood sacrifice

There is a debt that we can never repay already paid for our Soul

A gift of all gifts was freely given to break the bonds of Demons

Such a great price paid voluntarily, we were purchased with love

The chains in this life that we put on, we do this unto ourselves

We are all now children of God, yet many still refuse the Grace

The path is wide with many shadows and lies that bring only death

The Soul is a gift from God to all and when we lay down it returns

We are all servants to something to someone, one is good, one not

Servants to the Light or slaves to the dark we who choose the side

Faithful servants need no chains nor whips to produce good wheat

Yet the lazy, the ignorant, and the greedy all will fall into Hell’s Pit

(Personal History Poem) I Am Blessed

I AM BLESSED

I am blessed among the men of the Earth

I have a girl who has a light in her heart

She gave me a Son, the light of my old age

One can never stay angry if they’re truly in love

The love she has given me is free from her heart

Can a man truly deserve such wonder and grace

Born into ignorance and anger, a hard way to start

One does not have to emulate ignorance and pain

The choices we make decide the life we will live

As a child your eyes are set on your 18th Birthday

You walk out the door with no regrets, only pain

Blessed to be free, finally a road we pave ourself

Blessed by the Lord though His light on me did strike

In old age I did marry a sweet lady, so thankful am I

Filled with grace for the love they both have given me

I am blessed to have a Wife and Son who pamper me

When you have a wonderful child not of your own blood

They are the wife and child they don’t have to be to me

Yes Lord, through Your Grace, I am truly a very blessed man

(Philosophy/Poem) Grace Is The Peace

Grace Is The Peace

Grace is the peace that the Lord has given

To him or to her, peace is the Spirit within

Grace is the warm blanket in the cold of night

Peace is the Spirit led Soul in the love of the Light

Love is the trust one has in the Spirit led life

Grace is always offered, given from the Heart of the Son

It is the Lords Peace that humans often try to run from

Why do humans often try to seek shadows in the darkness

Why do we try to make our lives from the dollar and the gun

There is no love or grace in the darkness we chose to roam

Man can be so foolish, some prefer darkness instead of the Son

If the Lord’s Spirit indwells you there is no place you can run

The Day of God’s judgement and recompense is soon coming

Through the Grace, love and peace of the Father and His Holy Son

From within us the Spirit of God, Grace and Peace He has given

If we choose to shun God’s Grace, the ignorant in Hell will be living

For The Love Of My Woman

For the love of my woman

I would do most anything

She brought forth the fruit

Of our love, ignoring the pain

Her heart is so tender

Like the touch of her hand

Balancing the teaching of our child,

Tutor, Mommy and friend

O Lord, please grant me to be worthy

Of the love of this your Angel

You have sent me from Your home

Lord, please grant me the wisdom,

Knowledge, strength, good sense and love

To be the man, teacher and Daddy

To the offspring of our love

O Lord, thank you for your grace

Kindness and tender mercy

Of this woman whom I love

Thank you o Lord for sending me

Your Angel adorned in your love

I pray I be found worthy in your eyes Lord,

Of the love of this woman, my sweetheart, my bride

Face Down In The Gutter

Down in the gutter a human falls on their face

Face down in the sewer, is this where we end life’s race

So many years of struggle to keep up another’s set space

With a world full of Jones’ a person is taught we must race

Not knowing or seeing we were created in God’s given grace

From the womb were taught that he who dies with the most toys

Gains themselves some veiled vision of some mystical first place

Like a rat in a maze the Devil has put the humans in their place

Face down in the sewage on our back we must roll and clean off your face

Look upward toward Heaven can you see the stars all aglow

Angels are praying for us so get up on our feet with God’s grace we shall find

Face down in the gutter one whom is in the likeness of God should not ever be

Yes dear friend In the likeness of God every one of us are, made even you and me

In the gutters of this world not even a Bush, a Trump or a Clinton should be

Bloodlines like they so tainted with their ego’s and greed they still matter to God

My friend, I hope you can now see that you matter to God, and you matter to me

Holy Man By Choice And By Grace

Holy Man (Or Woman)

Like it or not we are what we are

We can choose our path, to the light or the dark

If we choose to walk in darkness, that is our choice

The light still shines even then, if we choose to see

We choose to walk in and stay in the light or darkness

Not by accident, because it is a choice that’s made

I am what I am because, we are what we are

I love the Son of God, more than the toys of man

We all sin daily, to pretend otherwise is ego and sin

For like you, I am just a man, we return to the dust

If I forgive, and hold not against you

Will you in like kindness, give, as I give unto you

Being a Man of God is an honor given

Not from our own righteousness, but grace

For such kindness is given, only from above

For is it not difficult to have the heart of a hawk

And the spirit of a dove who prefers peace and love

Being a Man of God, is something I long prayed for

To have a soul full of God’s love, His Spirit within

Always willing to speak what you now know is the truth

The world will rage at the words that you speak

Being kind, decent, and loving is no life for the meek!

7 Short Thoughts/Parables:For You Too Ponder

Is there such a thing, as a perfect rest

Is there such a thing as a restful peace?

Can someone have love without passion, or name

Can someone have true passion with a hate-filled mate?

Is love really a true passion of the heart

Or is the heart really just a passionless pit of darkness?

Is God’s grace given only to the sinful few

Or is it only the sinful whom give others no grace?

The first time that you were ever grabbed and kissed, so nice

In the twilight of our time do we still smile inside at the thought?

Hormones and dreams, with them almost all rushed through our teens

Will our grandchildren still have dreams, or like hormones just work, then die?

The greatest generation alive, baby boomers, their parents, X, Y, and Z

The greatest day in history is now, please, open up your eyes, now breathe!

Is there such thing as a peaceful rest

Is there ever such thing as a restful peace

Can someone have love without passion or name

Can you have true passion with someone you hate

Is love really a true passion of the young at mind or heart

Or is our heart a passionless pit filled only with darkness

Is grace given only to the most sinful of you other blokes

Or is it only the sinful who give no grace, even to you

The first time you were grabbed and kissed, o so nice

In the twilight of the years does it still bring a smile inside

Hormones and time we all raced through the teens

As our lives race by is it those times, our good ole years

The Greatest Generation Alive, Baby-Boomers, X, Y, and Z

The greatest day in history is now, open your eyes, now breathe

Oreo The Cat

Oreo The Cat

Just the name brings a smile to my face

Though chocolate and cream filling

Cookies, dipped in the  milk so cold

Yet, none of these tasty treats are of what I speak

Oreo is the name of my all time favorite fat cat

A plump, double stuffed kitty

Coal black on both sides

With a big white belly to pet

Offend her, she’ll snub you

Sit facing away, then she might reward you

With a look over her shoulder

Gracing you with her glance

18 pounds of belly, white tippy toes

And the prettiest green eyes

I have ever seen on a cat

Grace given, allowed to have her for a pet

Now cookies are great

Eat enough you might find

You got a belly like Oreo’s

A dragging behind

A cat for a pet can be a lot of fun

An angel like Oreo

Allowing you to live under her roof

Now, open one more can of tuna

You know it’s her favorite

So just open it up and get out of her way

When it comes to her belly this sweetheart don’t play
