Unarmed America Equals Open An Door To Jihadist; Doesn’t It?

I have been blessed that in my lifetime I have never had to shoot anyone. I have never know anyone that I honestly wished to be dead while they were still alive. Yet, should the situation ever arise that I deemed it necessary to pull the trigger on someone could I pull it? I know my answer to myself, yet I will keep that knowledge to myself. It is not the weapons fault if it has an immature egomaniac pulling the trigger! Exactly why the people must be able to be armed against such monsters. You have heard some of the off-color stupid jokes about people who were ignorant enough to only bring a knife to a gun fight haven’t you? America, or any other country on the globe is filled with good honest people whether they believe in the same Deity as yourself, or not. All people deserve to be able to be safe behind their own doors. No person on Earth has ‘the right, or any right’ to be the first aggressor against another person yet we all know some people just don’t give a damn about you having any rights. They just want you dead so they can take your bounty. The American people (not so much the folks in D.C., NYC, or Hollywood) understand the danger we are all in if we are not allowed to protect ourselves. Think about all the poor and innocent people in Mexico who have been caught up in the path of gangsters bullets? A bullet fired by a local thug or a trained Jihadist, will still kill you either way. It is much easier to be ‘big and bad’ once your target is already in a helpless position. We all know these macho men, the wife beaters and the child molesters. Can you think of these type of individuals and honestly believe that there is no such thing as evil in our world? Do you want any of them coming through your windows or doors with no way to stop them?

Think about being in the military of your country and you are assigned to guard and protect a building full of tanks. If it were back in the days when open war on your country had not been declared, in training you could have guarded the shack with a baseball bat. But this is not the good old days of our bygone youth, today we are all in the real dispersion of evil that is being waged on all of humanity. Now imagine yourself having to guard that shack full of tanks in an active war zone, without any ammo for your weapons. Now, how would that make you feel? Is that what you call one of those ‘o hell no’ moments? You want to make your “guard” position even worse? Are you thinking, how could it get any worse? How about, the enemy that has been lying in wait to get a chance to kill you has just found out that you don’t have any ammo so you have no way to protect yourself nor to harm your killer? Now how do you feel about your position for a long and healthy life? Would it make you even madder if you found out that it was your commanding officers who gave your murders the information that you had no ammo, no real way to protect yourself, or anyone else that might be in that shack that you have been trying to protect?

This past year we have seen another mass shooting this time in California leaving fourteen people dead and seventeen wounded. We have also seen a mass shooting at churches in South Carolina and Texas, last month 17 died at a school in south Florida. Yet the same sad faces talk their stupidity about how American citizens should not be allowed to possess a firearm in their homes, vehicles, or on their persons as this would make for a safer America. Yet if you pay attention to the stats you will find that Americans are taking more gun classes than ever and gun sales are up, this flies in the face of what the Democratic-left thinks should be happening. These folks don’t seem to get the fact that the American people want to be able to defend themselves if someone comes busting through their door tonight. Recent world events show the people that there is no way that you can always depend on someone else to come save you (like say, a police officer) when/if you and your family are attacked. Those fourteen murdered people in California was a wake up call to many that this Islamic murdering Demonic trash is on every continent and can reach into any village that they wish to. We also learned that some shooters have nothing to do with any religion like the shooter in southern Florida or the idiot in south Texas. So, when the Devil comes face to face with you and your family whether you’re at Wal-Mart, McDonald’s, your Church or even your home or school, what are you going to do about it? People all have to decide what they are going to do as individuals, we can cower down and die like mice or at least give yourself and your family a fighting chance against the Jihadist who just burst into your world.

So, The San Diego Catholic Diocese Says Voting For Abortion Is Not A Mortal Sin?

San Diego Catholic Diocese denounces parish that called voting Democrat ‘mortal sin’

(The San Diego Diocese is wrong on this issue. When any political party chooses to have the right to abortion as its fundamental platform, that party is the party with the Devil at its core!)
The Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego denounced one of its parishes on Friday after its worshipers were told that voting for Democrats is a “mortal sin” that could lead to an eternity in hell.

The Diocese said the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in the neighborhood of Old Town made the statement in an insert to a weekly leaflet given to churchgoers on Oct. 16, calling abortion, same-sex marriage, euthanasia and other political issues “non-negotiable.”

“It is a mortal sin to vote Democrat,” the insert read, with the words underlined and embolden. “If your bishop, priest, deacon or other parishioners tell you to do so, you must walk away from them. Your immortal soul and your salvation are at stake.”

On Tuesday, voters will pick the next president after an often bitter contest that polls suggest has tightened considerably in the last week. While several states are too close to call, polls have shown Democrat Hillary Clinton leading over Republican Donald Trump for some time in California where the parish is located.

Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego Bishop Robert McElroy said in a statement that the parish, which will also serve as a polling place, violated its religious duties with the political comments.

“It is contrary to Catholic teaching to state that voting for a Democrat or Republican automatically condemns the voter to hell,” the statement said. “The Catholic Church does not endorse specific candidates, use parish media or bulletins to favor candidates or parties or engage in partisan political activity of any kind.”

The parish’s pastor, Richard Perozich, did not respond to calls and an email on Friday.

The Diocese also took issue with a column in the parish’s Oct. 30 bulletin that railed against abortion and constraints on tax-exempt organizations from certain political activity, and blames elected officials for allowing U.S. society to be “enslaved” to sin.

“Satan has deceived many Christians to convert to worldly values from Christian ones,” the bulletin reads. “The devil does this through the tactics outlined by Saul Alinsky with the outcome as Hillary Clinton has stated, ‘And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed,’ to draw us away from God’s teachings.”

Alinsky was a pioneer in community organizing in Chicago known for confrontational, though nonviolent, tactics to achieve social change.

Clinton has been a lifelong Methodist, attending first as child with her parents and later attending a Methodist church as first lady. Trump on the other hand has been backed by religious conservatives and evangelicals.

Richard Schmalbeck, a professor at Duke University School of Law with expertise in non-profits, said the statements appear to violate requirements for tax-exempt organizations around political activity.

“Anything that clearly disparages a candidate is intervention in opposition to a candidate, and I think saying the devil operates through a person would count as disparagement,” he said.

Schmalbeck said it seems unlikely, however, that the U.S. Internal Revenue Service would aggressively pursue revoking the church’s tax-exempt status given its recent history of not going after churches that have made similar comments.

Russia’s President Putin’s Aggression In Europe Should Worry Every Russian Citizen

Putin’s aggression in Europe should worry the US

Russia: The biggest issue for the next US president?

Russia: The biggest issue for the next US president? 00:40

Story highlights

  • Richard Shirreff: European security is a matter of American security
  • Putin’s aim is clear: to re-establish Russia as one of the world’s great powers, he says

Gen. Sir Richard Shirreff is a senior British army officer and former deputy supreme allied commander Europe. The opinions expressed in this commentary are solely those of the author.

(CNN)Since the formation of NATO in 1949 the defense of Europe and the free world has depended on the absolute certainty that whatever president is occupying the White House, the United States will come to the aid of a NATO member if attacked. Any doubt about the American commitment, and the credibility of NATO’s doctrine of collective defense, is holed below the waterline.

At a time when the West faces a greater threat from a resurgent Russia since the most dangerous crises of the Cold War, NATO, more than ever, needs to stand strong, united and credible.
Russia’s invasion of Crimea and Ukraine in 2014 may have already lit the fuse that could lead to the unthinkable: nuclear war with Russia in Europe.
Consider the words and actions of President Vladimir Putin, who has described the breakup of the Soviet Union as the “greatest geo-strategic tragedy of the 20th century.” In his speech on March 18, 2014, the day Crimea was admitted into the Russian Federation, Putin majored on the threat the West posed to Russia by its continued encirclement and warned about the possibility of push back: “If you compress the spring to its limit, it will snap back hard: something you should remember,” while claiming the right to protect the interests of Russian speakers everywhere, “even if it will worsen our relations with some states.”

Who are Putin's allies?

Who are Putin’s allies?01:40
Overnight, Putin became NATO’s strategic adversary, starting a dynamic that could lead to a clash with NATO over the Baltic states of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia (which have significant Russian-speaking minorities).
Two years on and the threat is even greater. Indeed, the ratchet of tension clicks tighter on an almost weekly basis: Even this week we wake up to news of Russia sailing warships near the British coast in “a show of force and a show of capabilities,” according to Peter Felstead, editor of Jane’s Defence Weekly.
Unprecedented levels of military activity on the borders and in the airspace of the Baltic states, Finland and Sweden have been matched by the rapid buildup of military forces in Russia’s Western Military District on the borders of NATO.
For example, in January, Russia announced the formation and deployment of three motor rifle divisions, about 60,000 troops, along the Russian frontier with the Baltic states. And the Russians have kept themselves busy with regular so-called snap exercises to test the readiness of their military, at least one of which was based on a scenario of invasion and occupation of the Baltic states.
Putin’s strategic aim is clear: to re-establish Russia’s status as one of the world’s great powers and to dominate the former republics of the Soviet Union — imperialist intentions that might have been acceptable to great powers in the 19th century but which are an affront in 2016. If the opportunity presents itself, he may well activate long-held plans to march into the Baltic states.

Russian relations with the West at new low

Russian relations with the West at new low 02:29
To paraphrase British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain’s 1938 comment on Czechoslovakia, why are events in these faraway countries of which we may know little important to Americans?
First, because if Russia puts one soldier across the borders of the Baltic states it means war with NATO.
Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania have been members of NATO since 2004 and are therefore protected underArticle 5 of the Washington Treaty, the founding document of NATO, which states that an attack on one is an attack on all. A Russian attack on the Baltic states puts America at war with Russia — meaning nuclear war, because Russia integrates nuclear weapons into every aspect of its military doctrine.
And don’t think Russia would limit itself to the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Europe. Any form of nuclear release by the Russians would almost certainly precipitate nuclear retaliation by the United States, and the dreadful reality of mutually assured destruction and the end of life as we know it would follow.
Indeed, Russia is at war with America already. Russian hacking of Democratic Party email servers and, if confirmed, WikiLeaks publicizing of Clinton campaign emails to discredit the Democrats and propel Donald Trump — arguably what Putin would classify as a “useful idiot” into the White House — is classic Maskirovka — deception, aimed at undermining the intelligence and integrity of the enemy in a way that remains below the threshold of conventional warfare. In the words of Dmitri Trenin of the Carnegie Moscow Center, and a man with close connections to the Putin regime, the Kremlin has been at war since 2014.

The Iceland Summit that helped end the Cold War

The Iceland Summit that helped end the Cold War 00:59
But although the clock may be ticking close to midnight, it is not too late. Maintenance of the peace we have enjoyed in Western Europe for nearly 70 years depends on effective deterrence. The bar of risk must be raised too high for Russia to consider any opportunistic move into the Baltic states. This requires forward basing of a credible military capability in the Baltic states and eastern Poland (rather than the token presence agreed at the NATO Warsaw Summit in July).
NATO reserves able to move quickly and effectively to bolster defenses in the Baltics will send a powerful message. It also requires Canada and European members of NATO to recognize that military capabilities lost from cumulative disarmament over the past two decades must be regenerated. This means increasing defense spending, almost certainly above the 2% of gross domestic product agreed — but often not acted upon — by NATO members (less the United States, UK, Estonia and Greece).
2017 is 100th anniversary of the first occasion the United States intervened in one of Europe’s wars. The region’s security is a matter of American security, and it means continued and close engagement in Europe and a continuation of the strong leadership that America has given NATO from the start.
