(Honesty Poem) Life Is Filled With Breathless Moments

Breathless

(FROM MAY OF 17)

Breathless as the womb expands

Breathless till child’s bottom receives it’s very first hand

The cry all parents long for, music to all Elders hearts

The only time we ever wish to hear our child cry

The child grows from crawling then walking

As all the parents hold their breath

Watching and wondering and waiting

What choices will our little angel make

Breathless anticipation, the good we hope for

The bad we pray they will learn from

And never again let it darken their face

As age takes hold of our bodies

We look back upon the life that we lived

Traveling our nation’s highways

In the motor home that our child did give

The vistas of God’s beauty surrounds us

Breathless beauty, where man’s footprint seldom tread

Nearly breathless as we are but a step or two

From the calling of the earth, the destiny we all will face

Breathlessly we look back one last time for memories

At the beauty of our children and their children and theirs again

Death has only a minute sting as we lay breathlessly in God’s earth

Knowing at His trumpet we will fully see our good and the bad

Breathlessly, hoping to behold our loved ones faces once again

Breathlessly hoping for a smile, not anger, upon our Creators face

Are You Ever An ‘Airhead’ While In Prayer, Or Are Those A ‘Trance’ Or ‘In The Spirit’?

Are You Ever An ‘Airhead’ While In Prayer, Or Are Those A ‘Trance’ Or ‘In The Spirit’?

I’m just asking a question here folks, I’m definitely not trying to be judgmental. But once in a while do you find that while in a quiet personal prayer, that your mind has wondered? Had skipped away in total accident with no wish or intent, to someplace else in your mind? You know that of all times that you/I would always want to be at our best spiritual, physical and mental behavior is when we are having a ‘private moment’ with God, right? When I have done that, skipped off somewhere else in my mind while in prayer, up till this evening I have been upset with and/or disappointed with myself when I realize what I had done, again. I have wondered sometimes if this is what some folks refer to as being in some type of trance, or is it being a stoner and zoning out? Or, is it possible that while in these quiet moments that while we were in prayer, that when this happens that we fell asleep? Whew, hope not. This is one of those cases where I cannot answer for other folks, this is a private individual thing between our self and God and most assuredly, He knows the answers. For the folks in the world that have no faith at all a good many of them must think that those of us who prefer to pray quietly several times a day are out of tune anyway. Yet for those of us who do believe in a loving and all-powerful God and Creator of all of us, faith is all we have got, yet it is all that we need, any of us. When we pray do we have the faith that we are communicating directly with God through His Own Spirit that indwells the Believers? So, how important is it when we are in a silent prayer with God? How important is it that we stay ‘on tune’ during those times? Well, I guess, that’s up to each one of us privately with ourselves, and of course, also on how it is that God looks at these mental phenomenons. This is just my thought for the evening, hope it gave you a thought or two as you were reading it.

(Philosophy Poem) The Reality Of Peace

THE REALITY OF PEACE

Peace, what is it that we really seek

By whose’s definition is it defined

The winners write our history books

To the conquered, just their thoughts

Is it peace when it is only by fist or fury

Holiday today, jets of celebration overhead

Honor of strength with our chest held high

Or is it horror to the eyes of the occupied

Jet streamers and tracers, can make you sweat

Is there such thing as to high a price for peace

Dominated, tonight whose ring is it we have to kiss

Peace on your knees, can one really sleep well at night

Smoke in your eyes hurdled from canisters in hand

Aimed by the stress filling the hearts and Souls of men

Strength depends on the faith of the Soul of each man

Being true to Scriptures will not always bring peace to all lands

Words on old parchment, are they words of love, hate of disdain

Love and faith in a peaceful Creator can give comfort to the heart

Peace in the fields and ghetto’s can give our babies sweet sleep

Peace in one’s heart and Soul can create a blessed generation

The Book Of Revelation: Chapter #6

Revelation: Chapter #6

Chapter #6, this is where the beginning of the ‘Great Tribulation’ period here on the Earth begins. When the Apostle John was in Heaven (in his Spirit) these are the events that he beheld. Now, as Jesus (Yeshua) broke each of the Seven Seals of the Book that had been bound in Heaven that no one else could break, John witnessed the events upon the Earth as each Seal was broken. There are only 17 verses in this chapter, so I am going to type them down for those who do not have access to a Bible. After we read these 17 verses we will then break down each of the events so that we can have a better understanding of what we are being told.

“And I (John) saw when the Lamb (Jesus) opened one of the Seals and I heard what was like the noise of thunder and one of the four Beasts said to me, come and see.”

“And I saw and beheld a White Horse, and He that sat on him had a bow; and a Crown was given to Him; and He went forth conquering and to conquer.”

“And when He had opened the Second Seal, I heard the second Beast say to me, come and see.”

“And there went out another Horse which was Red, and power was given to Him that sat upon this Horse to take peace from the Earth so that people would kill one another. And there was given to Him a great sword.”

“And when He had opened the Third Seal, I heard the third Beast say to me, come and see. And I beheld, and lo there was a Black Horse. And He that sat upon him had a pair of scales in His hand.”

“And I heard a voice in the midst of the four Beasts say, a measure (1 quart) of wheat for a penny (1 day’s wages). And three measures (3 quarts) of barley for a penny ( day’s wages). But see that you do no hurt to the oil or the wine.”

“And when He had opened the Fourth Seal, I heard the voice of the fourth Beast say to me, come and see.”

“And I looked and beheld a Pale Horse: and His name that sat upon him was Death, and Hell followed with Him. And power was given unto them over one-fourth part of the Earth, to kill with the sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with wild beasts of the Earth.”

“And when He had opened the Fifth Seal, I saw under the Altar the Souls of them that were slain for the Word of God and the testimony which they held.”

“And they cried with a loud voice, saying, how long, O Lord, Holy and True, until you judge and avenge our blood on those that dwell on the Earth?”

“And White Robes was given to every one of them. And it was said unto them that they should rest (be quiet) yet for a little season (while),  until their fellow Servants also and their Brethren, that would be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”

“And I beheld when He had opened the Sixth Seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the Sun became black as sackcloth hair and the Moon became as blood (turned red).”

“And the Stars of Heaven fell on to the Earth, even as a fig tree casts away her untimely figs, when she is shaken from a mighty wind.”

“And the Heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”

“And the Kings of the Earth and the great men and the rich men and the Chief Captains (military leaders) and the mighty men and the bondmen (slaves) and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and under the rocks of the mountains.”

“And (these people) said to the mountains and the rocks, fall on us and hide us from the face of Him that sits upon the Throne (The Holy Father/Yahweh), and from the wrath of the Lamb (Jesus/Yeshua).

“For the great day of His wrath has come; and who will be able to stand?”

Okay friends, that is the 17 verses of this chapter. I will now do my best to point out the definitions of some of the things written in this chapter that might be stumping a few of you. Folks, chapter six is the dividing point within the book of Revelation. But before we get into this break down I would like you to look up something that the Apostle Peter wrote in the book of Second Peter chapter #1  verse # 20 “Knowing this first, that no Prophecy of the Scripture is of any interpretation.” I am no different from many millions of you in the reality that God’s Holy Spirit indwells me, as He does you. All Scripture is given by the Holy Spirit, we all form the “Body of Christ” and like any body, it has many parts, many different gifts. Peter is speaking that no one Prophecy stands as an island unto its own. All Prophecy is given by the Holy Spirit and all Biblical Prophecy stands together as one unit, they are all pieces that fit together as in one puzzle, or one Book. If you think back into the different Prophecies within the Old Testament they fall into place, Prophecy is about the things that are yet to happen, about the future. Prophecy is not about the past, that is simply called History. Revelation is a Book of Prophecy, we are being told what the final chapters of the Earth and humankind is. I want to make this point as clear as I can, in the Book of Revelation chapters 6 through 20 are about events that are yet to happen.

Now, let’s start with that First Seal. The rider of this White Horse is the Antichrist. He is a fake ‘Saviour’, the people will be begging for help from anywhere they think they can get it. Wanting to be rescued from all the bloodshed and famine they will want peace at any price and they will ‘elect’ their own destroyer. Right now this world we are living in is ripe for the Dictators who are being elected freely by the people themselves. Look at the current leadership in Turkey, the Philippines, the so-called democracies in the Arab World. What about the current situation here in the U.S.? Friends, there will be no peace here on this Earth because the powers that be, the super rich, the super powerful survive through the chaos they themselves create. When they just promote one of their own to the Throne of their countries, it is just the same evil for the people, just with a different face.

The Second Seal, the Red Horse of War. The fake peace that the Antichrist of the First Seal was just a ruse, we all know the story, a politician promises the people one thing, then they get hold of the reigns of power and what the people get is a ruthless power-hungry Dictator. In the first Book of the New Testament, the book of Matthew please read chapter 24 verse 2. This is where Jesus tell His Apostles that where they were at, the Temple in Jerusalem, that there will be a day when not one stone will be left upon another. A lot of folks believe that the destruction of the Temple happened when the Romans destroyed the Temple in  A.D. 72. Folks, the people who teach this are wrong, the event that the Lord was speaking of had nothing to do with the Romans. The reason I know this is simple, have you ever heard of the Wailing Wall or the West Wall which is at the Temple Mount? Friends, this is part of the West Wall of Solomon’s Temple, there are many stones, one upon another still in existence. The event that Jesus was referring to, has not happened yet. For your own thoughts, what is powerful enough to level Jerusalem and the Temple Mount to where there would not be one stone left upon another? To me, the answer is obvious, is it really a secret to you? I believe an event like Israel deciding to go ahead with the plan to build Synagogues on all four corners of the Temple Mount would infuriate the Arab World and if one of them has nukes (Iran), they would use them on Israel, this is the only thing I can think of that could cause the event of which Jesus spoke of. What kind of “peace” do you think the world will be in when this happens?

The Third Horseman, when Jesus broke the Third Seal the rider of the Black Horse came forth. The Black Horse represents ‘mourning’. There are a few paragraphs of Scripture I wish you to read so that you will understand better what I am saying. These Scriptures are Jeremiah 4:28 and Malachi 3:14. After the arrival of the Third Horseman there will be a world-wide famine. Please read Lamentations 4: 8-9 “There appearance is blacker than coal; they are not known in the streets (they look so bad they can’t be recognized): their skin clings to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. Those that are killed with the sword are better off than those that will be slain with hunger. For these wither away, stricken through for want of fruits of the field.” Famine and disease will be the norm in these times. The wealthy will still have their wine and their oil in these times just as it has always been throughout human history. Those whom have the most will be the least, and the last affected, just as it has always been. Yet these events, will be on a global scale, every Nation on Earth will be infected.

The opening of the Fourth Seal: The Rider of the Pale Horse. The Pale Horse represents plague and pestilence. When Jesus was upon the Mount of Olivet He spoke what has become known as the Olivet Discourse. Please read Matthew chapter 24: 5-8. Please take the time to read and understand these words the Lord spoke about the four Events are the Horsemen. These events are about to happen with the opening of the Fourth Seal, these events folks will kill a full one-fourth of the whole world’s population. If you used the population of the Earth today as an example, that would be about one billion seven hundred million people would die. Remember the Lord’s words concerning this matter: “Except those days be shortened, there would be no flesh saved, but for the Elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” These “Elect” that the Lord is speaking of are the ones who have been left on Earth after the Rapture who have decided to turn to God/Jesus and believe in and to follow after the Lord and His teachings. Most people when they fall upon hard times and I do mean very hard times, tend to curse God and to turn their back on God and walk away from Him, a few do just the opposite, they turn to God in these times, these are the ones being spoken of here. If you honestly think about it, if the Rapture happened today, would even 10% of the people who say they are Christians be taken up with the Lord at that time? Do you remember in the “Left Behind” movie where even the ‘Preacher’ got left behind? If we do not have faith, it is impossible to please Him!

The opening of the Fifth Seal and the prayers of the martyred Saints. The Souls mentioned here that are under the Altar of God. These are the Souls of the people who have been murdered for their doing of God’s word, their teaching and living according to God’s word. These are those who lived during the time frame of the ‘Old Testament’. Please open your Bible to the Gospel of Luke and read chapter 11:50-51. Our Lord spoke on this matter “That the blood of all the Prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation. From the blood of Able (Adam and Eve’s son) unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the Altar and the Temple. Verily I say unto you, it shall be required of this generation.”

With the opening of the Sixth Seal, the Lord’s ‘Day of Wrath’ has come. But the good thing is for those still upon the Earth, this is the beginning of the end of the Tribulation period. These events though are horrifying just in reading them. Please reread chapter 6 verses 12-14, also please read Revelation 20:11 and the Old Testament Prophet Nahum 1:5. Friends, it is easy to see how pathetic and weak humans are and will be upon the Lord’s return. Folks, the Demons and Satan Himself have already learned this horrible lesson but we humans have self-induced blindness toward the word of God. We humans are walking hand in hand with the very same Demons we have chosen to worship and to serve and those that do so will be their servants in Hell for ever and ever. Folks, what we don’t know can and will do more than just destroy us in this life.

The Seventh Seal does not get opened until the beginning of the eight chapter so for you who want to read ahead and have any questions, go ahead and do so. I am never ever going to tell a person to not read the Bible. I wish that all humans wanted to see, understand and believe in God’s teachings to us. I do believe that time is running short for the human race, for me personally I know that because of my health that my time left here is very short. We all very badly need to turn our lives over to God. We all have flaws, we all make mistakes, none of us are perfect and God knows these things about us. Our lives come down to faith, what do we put our faith in? If we put our faith in our Creator, if we live our lives according to His teachings of love then we have no need to fear the events that will happen to us after this life is over. Lord willing I will speak with you soon when I do my best to breakdown chapter seven. Shalom

Biblical Wisdom for Divisive Times

November 17, 2016

Dear Friend of Israel

During my recent travels through the U.S., I’ve learned how deeply and profoundly Americans have been affected by the recent election. Last week, people of all political persuasions were glued to televisions and computers waiting for the results. Now, more than a week later, we’re still glued to our screens, reading the opinions of politicians and pundits as they discuss how President-elect Trump’s policies may change the country, and the world.

Of course, it is good and right to be concerned about politics. But there comes a time that we must tear ourselves away from our screens and focus on deeper things. For me, the Psalms have a wonderful way of putting things in perspective, of giving us that deeper, more complete view of the challenges we face, both personally and as a nation. Perhaps it’s their honesty – their willingness to address God personally in both good times and bad – that has brought me back to these ancient Hebrew prayers time and again.

The Psalmist sings praises to God’s glory, cries out to Him from the depths of his despair, laments what he believes to be God’s absence from his life, and even freely expresses his doubts before God. And the Psalms don’t just voice our emotions; they remind us of God’s character. In them, we come to know God as Creator, Sustainer, Healer, and Redeemer.

The themes of God’s power and sovereignty are evident in Psalm 76 and Psalm 8. They were meaningful in biblical times because then, as today, Israel was surrounded by fierce foes bent on her destruction. Psalm 76 serves as a sobering reminder of God’s power. It leaves no question that it is God alone who rules the earth. It speaks of the invincibility of God in battle, and the futility of trying to stand against Him and His chosen people.

Psalm 8 uses the personal name of God that He gave to Moses at the burning bush (Exodus 3:14): Yahweh, the God of Israel’s covenant. God’s majestic name is wonderfully appropriate to this psalm. God is personal in His interaction with His creation, being mindful of mankind and caring for us. And yet, He is also transcendent, the Master of creation Who rules over all.

This psalm reminds us to have a childlike sense of awe and wonder when it comes to the display of God’s glory. His great love for mankind is shown in that He cared enough to place us just beneath the angels in rank of creation.

It’s all too easy to become so immersed in the things of the world that we forget that God is our ultimate defender and protector. But these psalms remind us to have the proper attitude when coming before God. It is both exhilarating and humbling to know that He goes ahead of us in our challenges, and that we are objects of His affection and care.

May we always be awed by the things of God. And may we always be reminded of God’s power, and His sovereignty over all things.

With prayers for shalom, peace,

This is just my thought for the evening, hope it gave you a thought or two as you were reading it.

Personal Thoughts And Takes From 1 Corinthians 10:13

Personal Thoughts And Takes From 1 Corinthians 10:13

KJV  1 CORINTHIANS 10:13

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

There is no tribulation that has come upon me but such as is common to mankind. For with all of my trials and tribulations God has always taken care of me. God is faithful to us, His creations, and He will not allow us to be tempted or tried beyond what we are able to handle, with His help.

That is as long as I do not ever let anything come before my love, faith, and service to our Lord Jesus the Christ/Messiah, for He is Love. God has always been faithful to me my whole life. Ever since I was very young I have been blessed to know of our Lords presence. He has always been there for me, I wish I could honestly say the same, that I had always preformed my life like unto a good and faithful son to our Heavenly Father but that would be a huge lie that I refuse to say.

So, if a person can be faithful to their spouse…

If a person can be faithful to their employer…

Can a person be faithful to our own Creator?

Problems

Philosophy of how we work through our problems

Problems are not what defines a free people. We as humans are what we choose to be behind our own eyes, not what other people see, but what we see. What defines us as human beings is in how we choose to overcome our problems. That is what defines us it is what helps (along with our faith in our Creator) us to create the building blocks that formulate the person that we are today and the person that we hope to be tomorrow.

If You Believe In A Creator Then You Believe In Aliens

If You Believe In A Creator Then You Believe In Aliens

(Or You Believe That God Is Ignorant)

This title probably ticked off a few people and also have a few folks scratching their head. If so, then I accomplished my goal with it. I know that throughout the years I have heard and read where some people believe that within the Scriptures (Christian and Jewish) that there are scenes painted where they believe that Space Ships were being spoken of. Do I believe this is possible, yes I do believe that it is a possibility. Have I ever seen a spaceship or an Alien, no, not that I am aware of would be that answer. I know that there were a few times when I was  driving in our western states that I witnessed different size’s of lights in the night skies that did movements that I don’t know how they did it if they were man-made. But did I have any close encounters or abductions, no is the answer to that question. Do I believe that Aliens are real, yes, I have no doubt of that. I do know of a couple of people whom I know and love that say they absolutely did see one (spaceship, not beings) up close about 35 years ago, and I do not doubt their word.

Now I want to speak more about why I spoke about the issues of Other Beings in the prior paragraph. As a devout Christian who does believe in the Earth being a creation by  “God”  in seven of His Days, not ours, that He is far greater than the items He put here on His Creation. Had to put that last quip in because of how egotistical so many humans are, especially in the realm of some wealthy people, politicians, and unfortunately, some so-called Religious people. There is a question that I would like to ask all people, when you look up into a cloud free night sky, what do you see? When we do this we are looking at many planets, Astrologists/Astronomers with their wonderful telescopes and cameras give us all these beautiful pictures of other worlds to gaze upon. Simple question for you, if you are a believer in the Christian/Jewish Scriptures what do you believe? Now think about your answer for a moment before it flies off your tongue okay? If you believe that God created Earth and put different people and things upon this planet, do you really believe that God created who knows how many billions of other planets for absolutely no reason or purpose?

There is also the concept and reality that God Himself is an Alien. Don’t get mad now, think about reality first, is a Supreme Being an Alien when being compared to us humans? If you know your Scriptures you know that there are a few times within it that speaks very plainly of Beings that are Spiritual Beings where the humans could not see them even though they were right in front of them. They were only seen when They chose to be seen by the fleshly eyes of the humans. You know how our Scientist keep speaking about these other planets in terms of them being able to sustain life upon it? Do they ever realize that there could be life forms that are totally different from our own, Beings that do not need water to exist? In the Book of Genesis it is written that God created Man in His own image, in reading the passages it does seem that we were sort of novelty in that God “tried this out” on this planet. Are there other human type creations on any other planets, I don’t know, maybe, maybe not. I do believe that without any doubt that you, I, and everyone else will see Jesus face to face, maybe you can ask Him then about such things if you wish. Well, I hope that I got at least a few folks to ponder these questions and ideas, I wish you and your loved ones God’s blessings always–Shalom.
