Three other male students confirmed as wounded were identified as Kasiyan Kamanets, 19, Igor Stasyuk, 17 and Vladislav Rozhkov, 20.

They were rushed to hospital with neck and back injuries.

Zasorin was reported to carry a gun in a bag past the college security man, and assembled it in a bathroom before walking upstairs to his class room.

He pushed a young female teacher out of the class, shut the door and opened fire.

As other students fled the building in panic, one of them managed to report the attack to a nearby traffic police patrol.

Zasorin refused to stop and opened fire at traffic policeman, who shot back and wounded the gunman.

The attacker who by then was inside the classroom turned the gun at himself.

The tragedy was reportedly caused by Zasorin’s conflict with group mates.

He was described as ‘quiet and peaceful’ by fellow students.

‘The attacker was acting along, he is dead. My deepest condolences to relatives of everyone wounded and killed, their families will be given support and help’ said Vasily Orlov, acting governor of the Amur region.

Criminal investigation was launched into the circumstances of the attack, with several investigators flying to Amur region from Moscow at the order of Head of Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin.

Chicago: A 7-year-old is in critical condition after being shot while trick-or-treating

A 7-year-old is in critical condition after being shot while trick-or-treating with her family

(CNN)A night of trick-or-treating ended with a 7-year-old girl critically injured after she was shot Thursday night in Chicago.

The girl had been trick-or-treating with her family around 5:30 p.m., when a group of men chasing another man began firing, Chicago Police Department Sgt. Rocco Alioto told reporters Thursday night.
The child was shot in the lower neck, police said, and is in critical condition at Stroger Hospital.
Alioto said the child is “fighting for her life.”
“This is unacceptable. It’s a 7-year-old girl that’s trick-or-treating with her family out here and happens to get shot because a group of guys want to shoot at another male while there is a street full of kids trick-or-treating,” Alioto said.
A 31-year-old man was also shot in the incident. He is in stable condition after being transported to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left hand, police said.
There is no relationship between the victims, police said.
Alioto said police do not yet have a description for those involved and were canvassing the area.

2 dead, at least 4 more wounded in shooting at Texas party

At least two men were killed at an off-campus college party in Texas, local authorities announced on Sunday.

Authorities have not yet found the suspect and were still searching for him Sunday morning, Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks said, according to The Associated Press.

Meeks said least four others were hurt at the party near Texas A&M University Commerce, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Meeks said authorities believe the shooter may have been targeting one person at the party and shot the others at random at the party outside Greenville, Texas near the satellite campus, according to AP.

Meeks reportedly said authorities believe there is one male shooter who entered through the back door of the venue, which he identified as The Party Venue, and began firing with a handgun. Meeks said venue owners are cooperating with authorities, according to AP.

Meeks said the two people killed were men but he did not know if they were A&M Commerce students, according to AP. He also reportedly said that four or five students were believed to be among those injured.

There were about 750 people at the party which Meeks reportedly described as a Halloween and homecoming party. Official said it was not a school-sanctioned event, according to AP.

The sheriff described the party as “complete chaos” as people tried to flee the shooter, and the gunman fled during the commotion, according to the Dallas Morning News.

“It appalls me that, as many folks that were there, [they] have not been able to give us a better description of the shooter,” Meeks said, according to the newspaper.

Police Shoot Unarmed 16 Yr Old Running Away In Back Of Head: Say It Is “Justified”

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF CNN)

Newly released video of a fatal police shooting in April 2017 shows an officer firing a deadly shot at an unarmed 16-year-old who had jumped over a fence and was running away.

Police in Fresno, California, say that three different official departments have ruled the shooting justified.
The surveillance camera footage, provided by attorney Stuart Chandler, shows 16-year-old Isiah Murrietta Golding climb a fence and enter a small yard as he is being chased by two officers.
Murrietta Golding, wearing a gray sweater, lands on his feet and starts to run. One officer climbs the fence while the other gets into a crouching stance and fires through the fence, the video shows. Murrietta Golding then stumbles and falls to the ground.
In the police body camera footage, also provided by the attorney, someone off camera can be heard saying “good shot.”
Murrietta Golding’s parents filed separate wrongful death lawsuits against the city of Fresno and several of its officers in March 2018. Chandler, who represents Murrietta Golding’s father, said the suits were filed separately because the couple are divorced.
The bullet went through the back of the teen’s head, according to the father’s lawsuit, and he died three days later. The lawsuit claims the officer who fired had no “objective facts” to believe that Murrietta Golding was armed or reaching for a weapon. The teen was unarmed, the lawsuit states.
“The fact that the police department and the city of Fresno’s police auditor all agreed that this shooting was justified is troubling in light of the video that clearly shows that it’s not,” Chandler told CNN.

Lawsuit: Teen wanted for questioning

Citing police statements, the father’s lawsuit says that Murietta Golding was wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting one day earlier that had caused a fatal car crash. Fresno Police sought to question the teenager and pulled over a car in which he was a passenger, the lawsuit states.
The teenagers in the car initially complied with police. But Murietta Golding then took off running, the lawsuit states, leading to the fatal chase.
Fresno Police Chief Andrew Hall told CNN affiliate KSEE that the shooting was ruled justified by police’s Internal Affairs Bureau, the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office and the City of Fresno’s Office of Independent Review.
“The use of lethal force in this case occurred while officers were investigating a homicide. The 16-year-old in this case was involved in the homicide with his brother and the brother was later arrested and pled guilty,” Hall said.
“The (surveillance) video represents a different vantage point and was not what the pursuing officers could see. The 16-year-old was also known to carry firearms and had jumped a fence into a child daycare center.”
CNN has reached out to the Fresno Police Department and the Office of Independent Review for comment.

The child was seated in the back of a car being driven by the baby’s stepmother when the woman reported that she heard shots being fired in the area.

The woman drove for a few blocks before turning around and realizing that her car had been shot and the baby had been hit by four bullets that penetrated the vehicle: once in the head, once in the chest, and twice in the back according to ABC’s Philadelphia station WPVI.

The child was then rushed to Einstein Medical Center where they were listed in critical condition. Police did not confirm whether the child was a boy or a girl.

Police canvassed the crime scene looking for shell casings and appealing for witnesses to come forward who heard shots in the area. As of now, no physical evidence has been found from where the crime occurred.

Only a few blocks away about an hour before the 11-month-old child was shot, police reported that three men were injured in a triple shooting.

Police confirmed to WPVI that a 28-year-old man was shot in the stomach, a 41-year-old man was shot in

the back and a 35-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh. The three men are all expected to survive and are listed in stable condition.

It is unknown if the two incidents are related but police are investigating that possibility. No arrests have been made in either one of the cases.

Texas mass shooter was fired from job hours before deadly rampage

Texas mass shooter was fired from job hours before deadly rampage

The Texas madman who went on a mobile shooting spree had been fired from his job just hours before his rampage — and had previously failed a background check, according to new reports.

Seth Ator, 36, had been axed from his trucking job a few hours before he killed seven and injured 22 in a spree in Odessa that started with a routine traffic stop on Saturday, authorities told the New York Times.

Odessa Police Chief Michael Gerke did not mention the firing at a press briefing Sunday, instead insisting there were “no definitive answers as to motive or reasons at this point.”

Ator used an “AR-type weapon” in his attack, and police say they are still investigating how he got it — especially in light of a revelation by state Rep. Tom Craddick, who said Ator had previously failed a background check, according to the Midland Reporter-Telegram.

No details were given as to what caused him to fail.

Ator first opened fire at state troopers who pulled him over in his gold Toyota pickup truck for a minor signaling infraction along a stretch of I-20 near Midland, Texas, on Saturday.

He then peeled off, firing indiscriminately out of the truck as he floored it toward Odessa, authorities said.

Along the way, he killed a Postal Service worker and hijacked her mail truck, continuing the spree, officials said.

He made his last stand in the parking lot of an Odessa movie theater, where he was killed in a shootout with cops.
