(A Savage Comment) Creationism AND Evolution: Both Of Them, Are True

Creationism AND Evolution:  Both Of Them, Are True

I am a devout life long Christian yet I have for most of my adult life debated how Christians (for the most part) are so oblivious to reality and to the Truths that are shown us in the Bible. So many people who believe in the Bible as the Holy Spirit Inspired Word Of God (as I also do) tend to read the Bible with ‘Church Doctrine’ blinders on. Back in the time of the Apostles and the time that Jesus walked the Earth when they taught in the Synagogues the people studied the Scriptures to see if what they were being taught was the truth or not. Just because your Preacher or a Church Elder, Bishop, or if you are Catholic, even the Pope, tells you something it is your Christian obligation to search out the Scriptures to see if what you are being told is Biblical truth.

Reality is that the ignorance of Christians/Churches have convinced millions if not billions of people throughout history to turn their backs on the Jewish and the Christian faith. Right from the very first book of the Bible (Genesis) Christians and Jews do not understand what we are so plainly being told. Yes the world and all in it were created in six days, but those six days are not, were not, human days, they were God’s days. I nor any other human knows what one of God’s days represent compared to a human day but Scripture tells us over and over again that God’s days are not our days yet humans keep trying to make that be so anyway. Even in our own solar system every single planet that circles the sun has a different amount of our hours in one of their days. Some will, through their ego’s say, well why didn’t Moses just lay it all our for us so we could know exactly everything? Folks, almost all of the humans that were alive about 3,600-3,700 human years ago calculated time through their own ancestors which normally only traversed back 3, 4, or 5 generations at best. Do you honestly think if Moses had started teaching them of thinks that happened 3 or 4 billion years ago that these people would have listened to him? What if Moses had started laying out the lineage of Dinosaurs, what do you think they would have done? My guess is that the people would have shunned him for being a crazy man.

Most all of us know some about the story of Adam and Eve from the first two chapters of Genesis but my question to everyone is, just how well have you read it? Have you just taken the word of the Church you attend as to what the Scripture actually is telling us all? Please reread the first two chapters. If you will notice in the first chapter Adam was created but before His creation God created ‘men and women, and, God created He them’. After God had created multiple ‘men and women’ God created Adam. Now in the first chapter, after God did all of His creating of those ‘Six Days’, God rested from His work on the 7th day. Then after all His work was done and He had created the first group of people (the Gentiles) and Adam, then in chapter #2 God then created Eve to be a help mate for Adam. Folks, the ‘promised one, the Messiah, Jesus The Christ’ lineage is traced back through the ‘Royal Blood Line’ to Adam, actually to Eve. There were two human creations, the gentiles, and the Royal Blood Line of Adam. Adam and Eve were about 5,500 human years ago yet humans were on this planet many thousands of years before this time. Jesus Himself referred to us Gentiles as “people before this time whom were not a people”. Jesus was pointing out that before His time here on Earth, before His Resurrection that salvation was only to the Jews and to no one else. So, people who were not a people, Gentiles! These are simple truths laid out in writing for us all to see yet we choose to remain blind. Think about a few things we are told here in the beginning of Genesis. After Cain had murdered his brother Able God banished Cain to the East of Eden in the land of Nod. God put a mark on the forehead of Cain so that “all who find him would not kill him”, folks, all of who? There were only 3 people left on the planet right, just Cain, his Mom Eve and his Dad Adam, so all of whom? Then after Cain had been banished he took a wife, wait a minute, where did she come from? Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible/Torah through the guidance of God’s Spirit, whom we tend to call the Holy Spirit from the New Testament. The Truth of the Scriptures are right before our eyes, but we have been trained not to see the real Truth. We have been taught Church doctrines instead which has run many millions of people away from God’s teachings.

If Moses had told the people of his time that the world was about 4-5 billion years old and that the planet we call Earth had started with a big interstellar bang what do you think the people would have done to him? At the very least they would have thought him to be crazy and no one would have paid him any mind. To my Christian and Jewish brothers, yes there were such things as dinosaurs and there has been life on this planet for several hundred millions of human years. I did not say that there has been human life here on Earth for hundreds of millions of our years, just life itself. God does not want us to be ignorant for ignorance begets death, physical and spiritual. Science has pretty much discovered/proven that human life has been on this planet for hundreds of thousands of years, not just the 5,000-5,500 years since Adam and Eve. I am not an archaeologist even though I am a huge fan of history. I know that science has been looking for the so-called ‘missing link’ between Primates and Humans for longer than I have been alive. This is like trying to find that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, it doesn’t exist folks.

Evolution, is there such a thing? Of course there is folks. As an example I would like to use the people science calls Neanderthals. For most of my life time scientist have wondered what happened to them, why did they go extinct? Just like the people before them who bred with them the same thing happened to them, they were bred out of existence. You can breed cattle with buffalo and you get what is called beefalo. You can take oranges and breed them with tangerines and you get a product called tangelos. In Scripture the ‘House of Israel’ was forbidden to mix blood with any of the Gentiles, if they did then they were counted as not being pure. Humans did not crawl up out of the oceans and even though we have many of the same molecules of other creatures we did not derive from them and they did not derive from us. Today science can create a form of a human being through cloning and some would call this evolution, that we have evolved into a more pure condition but they are ignorant of reality. Science can play God, but they are not God. Just as if I could make an android and give it a human name like George, George is still not a human. The difference in these two creations of science and a real human being is that science can not create ‘a Soul’. It is the Soul that makes the conscientiousness that makes one human and only God can create the Soul. Is there such a thing as evolution, of course there is, just not to the extent that some scientist believe and or are trying to find or create.

Science has some things wrong, yet they do have many things correct. Churches have many things correct, yet they have many things wrong. It is the job of the Churches to teach the whole Truth but first the Churches must open their eyes to what the Scriptures actually say and to forget about ‘Church doctrines’. The Earth is a special place for it is designated to be “God’s Footstool”. Earth is where Jesus will reign from once the New Jerusalem comes down from Heaven to replace the current city of Jerusalem once it has been totally destroyed after the Second Advent. Now, Christians, wake up to reality about other planets. Do you honestly think that if God is the Creator of all things in the Heavens and on the Earth that He created billions of planets for no purpose or reason at all? To the best of my knowledge I have never seen an alien yet I totally believe that they exist, it would be difficult to honestly believe other wise. Then again there is the issue of, what does an alien actually look like? Personally I have no idea, but I do doubt that they look like humans. Personally I believe in the existence of Angels, I also believe that I have seen and spoken with at least two in my lifetime. I also believe in the existence of Satan and of His Angels, to me, to not believe in both is Biblical ignorance. I personally do not know if I have ever spoken directly with any Demons but I think that there is a very good chance that I have several times. I know that I have experienced being in places and in the presence of a few people where the feeling of pure evil was like a stench in the air, you could feel it, you could almost taste it. Remember, if you spend your life trying to be good and trying your best to be the best follower of Christ that you know how to be, you make yourself a target for the hate of evil ones, humans and otherwise.

Information About The Holy Spirit

Information About God’s Holy Spirit

As those of you who know me personally or through these commentaries I share with you here then you know that I grew up going to a local Church of Christ. It would be fair to say that I spent my growing up years there 10-17. But at 17 I made myself quit going. Through my own studies I came to realize that there had to be much more depth in many subject matters than the level that I had been taught.  Subject matters of Scriptures and Faith in which could not hold a blind eye to the fact of their differences. And to be totally honest, my hormones were pulling me toward another line of thought at this same time frame also.

One of their two Elders of the Congregation and I had several  Q & A about such things as The Holy Spirit, Spirits, Souls, Possessions, and Miracles. I decided on The Holy Spirit as the subject matter today partly due to these conversations I had with Him and with a few others I trust for Honesty as well as with Wisdom. The Church of Christ Doctrine does not believe in any type of Possession. When one hears the word Possessed, do not their minds go to the thought of ‘Demonic’? But, if it is possible to be possessed with an Evil Spirit, could you not also be possessed with a Spirit of Light? One of the last times that this Elder and I got to speak one of the last things he said to me was about not really understanding “this Holy Spirit thing”. I have thought about those words several times throughout the decades. Now I realize that there were a whole lot of Biblical meat issues that those local folks actually knew that they didn’t know. It is a sad thing that the Earthy Leadership of The Lord’s Bride (The Church) does not know what 1/3 of The God Head is? How was that possible? My experiences were many decades ago, hopefully things have grown in their faith and knowledge since my days.

Folks, these are just a few of the many Passages concerning who and what the Holy Spirit is. The Body is the Tabernacle (dwelling place) of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit of Christ, to be possessed by Him, this is something that I wish for every human being upon the planet. Fore friends, this would be pure safety from the evil around us and the evil we are yet to see. Fore where the Light of God is, darkness cannot enter! Folks, the Devil and His kind may throw rocks at our homes (Tabernacles) all day long. But, like with any thief or bad person, their ability to harm us, our family, our friends increases greatly, if we allow them on the inside of our homes, body/Soul. True destruction often seems to come from when the inside walls grow weak, then the crumble, then the sound of our own destruction?

I hope that this letter was of some value to you. Please feel free to drop me a note, question, opinions or ideas if you wish too.

Philosophy: Caring And Charity

Philosophy: Caring And Charity

Caring, it can be such a deep, loving and kind thing. Just as a lack of caring can be a deeply hurt filled way to live. A caring person is usually a kind and loving Soul where a person who is uncaring about others seems to usually fall into one of two categories, very egotistical and or is a person who is down on the world, who doesn’t think anything of anyone, including their own selves. The Lord wishes all people to be good, kind and decent to one another. We are directed to treat all people of all tongues, races and beliefs as our brothers and our sisters. Remember, the golden rule does not  say “do unto others before they have a chance to do unto you.”

Charity is to give alms, it comes from within and is given freely. Just as caring is a natural concern for children, ones mate, other peoples lives, health and their needs. Caring and charity, people who are of these traits seem to be more positive, loving, kind and decent to each other. These people seem to have a love filled, light filled, quiet self assured ora about themselves. For if ones body is the dwelling place of God’s Holy Spirit then we should always be putting God first in our lives, would it not be reasonable that His Light will come out of us via our actions and words? I am not saying nor is it true that all people of the Earth are devout Christians just because they smile a lot and daily do good deeds. Nor is it really true that all people who say they are Christians really are. Many are just fooling themselves and their actions and words prove that God’s Light is not in them. There are some people of all religious faiths as well as some people who are of no faith system at all who are still good, honest and friendly people. A person, a community or a Nation can not have two masters. A person can pretend to care, they can even do some token charity work but our works do not make us good, it is the Spirit, the Light of God that makes us good, good works are a byproduct of that Light. Our works alone will not save us for without faith it is impossible to please God, no matter what good things we do. The people around us tend to know the truth about us, sometimes even better than we know ourselves. Also, most certainly God can see right through us and He will not be fooled or mocked by any of us.

Truly the harvest is ready, there are millions of people all over the globe who are looking for answers to a plefera of life’s challenges, truly the harvest is ready but the workers, the reapers are few. Throughout the New Testament we are told that we must produce. Any tree that produces no fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire, we are not allowed to hide our talents in the sand until our Master returns for if God is in us we will be filled with His love, caring and charity. As I said earlier, there are a lot of very good people in the world, people of every Nation, people who are not Christians who are daily looking for life’s meaning, we must work for Christ. There are many people who are kind, decent, charity filled, caring people that do not have the Light of God in them. These people will be counted among the lost if we the people that are around them do not show them God’s Light and God’s love. When this happens, at the Judgement Seat of Christ, Jesus will turn to the people who call themselves Christians who were these peoples family, friends, neighbors or members of the Churches in their towns for a reckoning. Might the Lord ask them/us why, why is this my child condemned? Why did you not warn them, why did you not care? Did you not know that their blood will be put upon your/our head?

In truth, when it comes to our faith are we sitting on our hands? Do we really care about our families, about anyone? The Lord knows all of our thoughts He already knows the answers to His questions about each and everyone of us. I have a few Scripture verses I would like you to consider before I close this letter to you this evening.

Matthew 10: 38-39—Jesus speaking. “He that takes not his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of me. He that finds his life shall lose it and he that loses his life for My sake shall find it.”

1 Corinthians 15; 58—The Apostle Paul speaking. “Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. For as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 5: 10—The Apostle Paul speaking. “For we must all appear before the Judgement Seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

Matthew 7: 21—Jesus speaking. “Not everyone that says to Me Lord, Lord shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that does the will of My Father which is in Heaven.”

1 Peter 4: 7-8— The Apostle Peter speaking. “But the end of all things is at hand; be ye therefore sober and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves; for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”

In closing, just think about it being the middle of the night and you notice that your neighbors house is on fire and you know their family is there sleeping. Would you do anything or just keep on watching your TV program and let them burn, after all, its not your house, not your family, why get involved? Within the Spiritual world we all have the same situation, we know that we have family members, friends, neighbors and coworkers who will be lost to Hell’s fire if the world was to end today, or if they were to die today, yet do we sit on our hands and let them burn? Caring, think about it!

Blasphemy: What Is It And Is It Something That Actually Matters

Blasphemy: What Is It And Is It Something That Actually Matters

When I write these letters to you I always try my best to only give you factual information. I know that this website is quite eclectic in its material as I post things that are of interest to me figuring that at least some of you will have some interest in the things that I write and that I forward from other folks blogs. Today I have chosen to write to you concerning the word Blasphemy. When I write to you I pull information from my own life’s experiences, history books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, or directly from Scriptures. I checked Mr. Webster’s dictionary about the word Blasphemy and it gave the definitions of to talk profanity, to speak irreverently of. In the index of my King James Bible it says Blasphemy is: cursing God, arises out of pride, hatred, affliction, injustice and defiance. I believe that most of us can get a pretty good understanding of the word from these definitions. Are you aware that during the earliest days of the Nation of Israel that if a person even heard someone curse that they then became “unclean.’ Wow, how things have changed from the culture then to what it is now.

A person who is of this world today may look at how things are in society and go, so, whats wrong with it. But, not all people who are not of the Spirit (God’s Holy Spirit) are as blind as that.  Just as it is so that a person will not quit smoking or drinking or quit taking illegal drugs until the person actually really wants to quit down deep inside themselves. As it is also true that until each one of us deep inside ourselves decides to let go of this world and cling to and totally trust in our Creator all day, every day that we will not totally understand true peace. This is when we truly put our Creator first. God will call His own and His own will hear and know His voice this is because His Holy Spirit is within His own, so yes, He knows His own voice.

The opposite of the Light is darkness. If our bodies are the Tabernacle (dwelling place) of the Holy Spirit would we of our own choice blaspheme our own Creator? When we see and or hear a person swear as though they were proud of their words are we truly saddened or at least hurt just a little bit inside ourselves? When we hear the Lord’s name used in cursing does it hurt us, does it anger us at least a little?

Blasphemy comes from pride, hatred, affliction, injustice and defiance and these are all creations of this world, of the flesh. Honestly, do we see these traits to be within the domain of God? Do we see the reality here, or, is this just a parable to us? When that final trumpet sounds at our grave site and the last note of taps floats away on the breeze what condition will each of our Souls be in? Everyone of us have flaws in our bodies and in our actions! Remember, the Spirit is willing but the body (the flesh) is weak.

There are many sins that do not fall under the definition of blasphemy, things like murder, rape, false imprisonment, torture as is true of many other horrible human actions like bearing false witness and lying. In our own mind, do we consider any of these to be the “ways of God”? Everyone is a Light, a person of God is suppose to be a bright Light to God and an evil person is a dark light which leads to evil and Hell. Our friends, neighbors, family and co-workers see our light whether it is dark or light and even if only within themselves they judge us by our actions. Is it any less obvious that our Creator watches us and listens to us? What is it that He sees when he looks at you or me? What will He have to say to us about how we lived our life when we are bowed at His feet and it’s our turn at the Judgement Seat Of Christ?

Just think what kind of a world it would be without things like pride, hatred, injustice or any type of Blasphemy. On the day the Lord takes His Seat upon the Throne of David in the New Jerusalem all of these worldly faults will be in the world no longer. I pray that through each of our lights we will by our actions within our daily lives have drawn many others to the Light that is Christ. I pray and I wish so much that everyone will be a partner in His Light, unfortunately this is not so nor will it be so until after the Last Trumpet sounds. Even Jesus Himself spoke of the one unforgivable sin, blasphemy towards the Holy Spirit.

Friends, I hope that you have enjoyed the read today. Hopefully some of you now have a better understanding of the meaning of, the definition of the word blasphemy. It is a creation of darkness, there is no Godly Light in it. And to whomever the light of darkness is in shall be cast from the Light of God into utter darkness which is called the second death, separation from God forever. I hope and I pray that you and your loved ones lights through God’s Holy Spirit shines forever. In the love of our Lord Jesus I thank your for your time in reading this letter to you.

Revelation Chapter #3

Revelation Chapter #3

With this letter today I would like for us to discuss the third chapter of the Book of Revelation. Chapter #3 is a lot like chapter #2 was in that the main subject matter is three of the old churches in Asia Minor. In Rev. 22:10 John was told “do not seal the sayings of the Prophecy’s of this Book: for the time is at hand.”  Those that say the Book of Revelation is just a jumble of signs and symbols and is not meant to be understood is directly contradicting the Book and The Lord. The Lord Jesus dictated this information to the Apostle John. This Book is not a closed book that is suppose to be beyond human understanding. This Book is like all Scripture in that for you to really understand it you must read it, see it and understand it through the eyes of the Holy Spirit who indwells us. This is because it is He, The Holy Spirit who is the Author of all Scripture.

If a person only sees Scripture through the eyes of the flesh of this world then they will never fully see nor understand what the Truth is. Revelation does not begin anything. Revelation concludes those things which began within the other 65 Books of the Bible. If a person has not studied the rest of the Bible first then Revelation will be very difficult for a person to understand. This Book has 22 chapters and 404 verses. Of these 404 verses 278 of them contain references to the Old Testament.

After Chapter #3 the Church is not mentioned again within Revelation. This is because the Church which is the “Bride of Christ” is in Heaven with Him. Now, if you would, lets study what Jesus had to say about the other three Churches of the seven listed, these Churches were in Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. First let us look at the Lord’s words to the Church in Sardis which is in modern day Greece. “To the Angel of the Church in Sardis write: these things saith He that has the seven Spirits of God and the Seven Stars. I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are really dead. Be watchful and strengthen the things that you still have that are about to die. For I have not found your works complete before God. Remember therefore how that you received and heard, hold fast to that, and repent. For if you do not pay attention, I will come unto you as a thief in the night, and you shall not know what hour I will come unto you. There are a few among you even there in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcomes this world shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out their name out of The Book Of Life, but I will confess their name before My Father and before His Angels. He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches.”

Friends, as you can see, there is not great mystery here in what The Lord is saying to the people of the Church at Sardis. He points out their good points and their bad points. On the things they are doing good on The Lord tells them to continue. But, on the things they are doing wrong in their lives on He tells them to correct those ways of He will remove their names from the Book of Life. My friends, if our name is not found in the Book of Life at our Judgement we will be cast into Hell at that time. How can things possibly be more plain than what The Lord has laid our to all of us in His own words?

Now let us go onto The Lords letter to the Church at Philadelphia. For those of you who are new to this information this letter is not to the people who live in southeast Pennsylvania, it was addressed to a Church in what is now western Turkey. “To the Angel of the Church in Philadelphia write; these things says He that is Holy, He that is True, He that has the Key of David. He that opens and no man can shut. He that shuts and no man can open. I know your works: behold, I have set before you and open door, and no man can shut it. For you have a little power and have obeyed my word and you have not denied My Name. Behold, I will make them of the Synagogue of Satan which say they are Jews and are not, for they lie. Behold I will make them come and worship before your feet. Then they will realize that I have loved you. Because you have kept the word of My patience, I will also keep you from the hour of temptation which shall come upon the whole world, to try them which dwell upon the Earth. Behold, I shall come quickly. Hold fast to that which you have so that no man can take your Crown. To he that overcomes I will make him a pillar in the Temple of God, he shall no more go out, and I will write upon him The Name of God. And the name of the City of God which is the New Jerusalem which shall down out of Heaven from God and I will write upon him My new name for him. He that has an ear, let him hear what The Spirit is saying to the Churches.”

Philadelphia did not receive the condemnation that most of the seven Churches received because most of what they were doing was correct in God’s Eyes. Philadelphia was a Church that was getting out the Word of God. They were not just sitting on their hands and only giving lip service to God. Yet Jesus did still warn them about being complacent and not continuing in His Word. As you can see, in these warnings just as within many other places of Scripture it is possible to fall away from doing God’s Work and lose your Crown. Friends, there is no such thing as once saved always saved, friends please do not let the Devil fool you by such false teachings.

Now lets go to The Lord’s letter to the seventh Church of the seven listed, the last message was to the Church in Laodicea. “To the Angel of the Church in Laodicea write; these things saith The Amen, The Faithful and the True Witness, the beginning of the Creation of God. I know your works, that they are neither cold nor hot: because they are neither cold nor hot I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing. You do not know that you are really wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. I advise you to buy from Me gold that is tried in the fire so that you may be rich and have white raiment so that you may be clothed so that the shame of your nakedness does not appear, and anoint your eyes with eye salve so that you might see. As many as I love I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears My Voice and opens the door I will come in to him and will eat with him and he with Me. To him that overcomes this world I will grant him to sit with Me in My Throne, even as I also overcame and have set down with My Father in His Throne. He that has an ear, let him hear what The Spirit is saying to the Churches.”

Well friends, that is it for chapter #3, as you can see this is not rocket science or brain surgery, it is quite possible for all of us to understand. Lord willing in the next day or two I will get my notes together on Chapter #4 and get it written up. I hope that you will join me then for that read as well. Good evening and I pray that God will bless and keep you all safe until we meet again.

This verse is found in the Old Testament. 2. James 5: 14-15 King James Version Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if they have committed sins, they shall be forgiven. In the New Testament, James encourages Christians to pray in faith at all times even when sick. In this verse, James affirms the power of believers praying together by asking the sick to go to the elders for prayers. Further, this verse shows that repentance through prayer is effective. 3. Jeremiah 33: 6 King James version Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. God’s promise to His people in the Old Testament is that He would give them health, cure them, and give them peace and truth. This promise came to pass when God sent Jesus Christ who not only healed the sick, but also enabled believers to enjoy peace and grace through the sacrifice on the cross. 4. Jeremiah 30:17 KJV For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after. This Old Testament verse talks about God’s promise to Israel to restore health and heal wounds. Similarly, as God’s chosen people, He provides the grace and deliverance from physical and spiritual pain. So, no matter what others call you, the Lord can still restore your health and heal you. 5. Exodus 23:25 King James version And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. As the Israelites were going through the wilderness, God promised to provide food and water and take away sicknesses. Today, God still walks with believers through the ups and downs of life and heals diseases. Remember that you will only reap kingdom benefits if you serve the Lord and follow His commandments. 6. Deuteronomy 32:39 See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. God is the all-knowing for He gives and takes life and heals our wounds and diseases. Through Christ, the great physician, Christians can see the power of God. Apart from curing our disease, He makes our spirit alive through His grace. Without Him, we are dead in spirit, and our life is empty. 7. Matthew 10:1 And when He had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Matthew, the inaugural book in the New Testament teaches about our Messiah who has the power to heal all diseases and cast out spirits. Jesus conferred the same power to His disciples. 8. Luke 10:9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. Like Matthew, the third book of the New Testament gives an account of the teachings and works of Christ. In Luke chapter 10 Jesus tells the seventy-two disciples to go out and preach the gospel and cure the sick for the kingdom of God is near. Today, Christians can also go out find the broken and sick and heal them through prayers. 9. Psalms 103: 2-3 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; The book of Psalms is between the Books of Proverbs and Job. Chapter 103 of Psalms encourages believers to praise the Lord and not to forget all that He has done including forgiving sins and healing all diseases. 10. Mark 5: 34 And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace and be whole of thy plague. The 5th chapter of the second book of the New Testament teaches you how faith in the Lord can heal your sickness or wounds. 11. Proverbs 3: 5-8 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. These verses teach believers to depend on God and not human understanding or wisdom. While at it, Christians should fear the Lord and acknowledge Him as He is the provider of perfect health 12. Psalms 41:3 The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. This verse shows that even when we are sick, weak, or wounded, God, through His grace and mercy, comforts us. As such, in the midst of challenges (illness), we shall survive for God strengthens us. 13. Matthew 4:23-24 And He went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people. 24 So His fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, those having seizures, and paralytics, and He healed them. Matthew 4 verse 23 provides another account of when Jesus showed He is the great physician by healing those who were physically and spiritually sick. Bible scriptures on healing the heart, brokenness, and spiritual emptiness 14. Matthew 11: 28-29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:28-29 reassures Jesus call to all those who are burdened to find rest in His arms. This scripture applies to all who have been weighed down emotionally by the things of this earth. 15. Psalms 34: 17-20 ESV When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. The primary teaching from Psalms 34:17-20 is that God protects believers who diligently serve Him and follow His commands. God also saves those who have a contrite spirit and are brokenhearted. When you are righteous, no matter what comes your way, God will deliver you. 16. Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increases strength. Isaiah 40:29 reinforces the teaching that when you are weak, God shows His strength and gives us the power to keep going. 17. Isaiah 57:18-19 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners. I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him. Even when the people of God wander away, He is merciful enough to forgive and heal their souls if they turn away from sinful ways. Also, He will comfort and heal all those who mourn for God’s peoples’ suffering and sins. 18. Psalms 107: 19-21 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and He saveth them out of their distresses. He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! This verse teaches that when believers humble themselves, repent, and cry out to the Lord, He saves and delivers all from destruction and sicknesses. 19. Psalms 6:2 King James version Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed. We serve a merciful and just God. Like David, if we can humble ourselves, acknowledge our weaknesses and sin, and cry out to God, He will surely heal our wounds and brokenness. 20. Psalms 147: 1-3 ESV Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant,[a] and a song of praise is fitting. The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. This Psalm reminds Christians of our duty to praise the Lord for all He has done. God takes care of His people as He did with Jerusalem. When we wander away from God, He finds a way to bring us closer to Him. Moreover, the Lord offers comfort for all the wounded and brokenhearted believers. 21. Psalms 30:10-11 Hear, O Lord, and be merciful to me! O Lord, be my helper!” You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness. Like David, believers can fall or be overwhelmed by the things of this world. For this reason, we cry out to God to hold our hands and be merciful. The Psalm shows that God can restore joy and peace for His people even after mourning or a bad experience. 22. Jeremiah 17: 14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. Jeremiah calls out to the Lord to heal him of his iniquities, wounds, or sickness. He was aware of the sins of the people against God at the time. Knowing that he could confidently call unto God to heal and save him, Jeremiah seeks God and also acknowledges God for His goodness. 23. Psalms 73: 25-26 Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength[a] of my heart and my portion forever. The Psalmist acknowledges that besides God, there is no other thing on earth (including earthly wealth) that can fulfill him or give the satisfaction he needs. Therefore, even though we may stumble or fall to our desires we should always turn to God for He alone can strengthen and comfort our hearts. 24. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Before Jesus ascended into heaven after resurrection, He gave believers peace as an inheritance. It is this peace that enables us to weather storms and the ups and downs of life. For we know that we can trust in Him to take care of whatever is troubling us. Further, what Lord gives is different from what this world provides as comfort for the heart and soul. 25. Proverbs 17: 22 A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones A cheerful heart has a similar effect to your health and body as good medicine. However, a crushed spirit makes your life sad. Therefore, the verse encourages us always to have a joyful heart as it is the secret to enjoying life and living in the fullness of His glory. 26. Revelations 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Christians live with the assurance that the Lord can take away all the pain, mourning, fear of death and tears. As such, no matter what happens in the past, believers know that they are a new creation. 27. Isaiah 53:5 King James Version But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. Even though most people use this verse to refer to physical healing, it mostly speaks about the sacrifice of Christ. Through Christ, we are free from our transgressions and guilt. In return, believers receive the gift of peace and reconciliation with our Lord. 28. 1 Peter 2:24 He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed. Like Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24 talks about Jesus’ sacrifice so that we may live in righteousness. 29. 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place. God had made a covenant with the Israelites that if they would repent, pray, follow His commands and seek Him, He would bless them and heal their land. Today, most people interpret this verse to mean that if believers would repent, pray, and humble themselves, God would bless and heal their land. 30. Isaiah 33:2 O Lord, be gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble. This verse shows that with faith you can call unto the Lord and wait for Him to comfort and heal you in times of trouble. 31. Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 speaks about the different seasons in life including periods of mourning and healing. So, whatever season you may be in trust the Lord for He can turn your mourning into dancing. Creationism AND Evolution: There Is Truth In Both Of Them

Creationism AND Evolution: There Is Truth In Both Of Them

Holy Man By Choice, And/Or By Grace

HOLY MAN/OR WOMAN BOTH CHOICE AND GRACE

Like it or not we all are what we are

We can choose our path, to the light or the dark

If we choose to walk in darkness, that is our choice

The light still shines even then, if we choose to see

We choose to walk in and stay in the light or the dark

Not by accident, it is a choice that each of us make

I am what I am because I love the Son of God,

But do we love God more than the toys of man

We all sin daily for just like you, I am just a man

If I forgive, and hold not against you

Will you in like kindness, give, as I give to you

Being a Man of God is an honor given

Not from our own righteousness, but grace

For such kindness is given, only from above

It is difficult to have the heart of a hawk

And yet to have the spirit of a dove

Being a Man of God, is something I long prayed for

To have a soul full of God’s Spirit, love and Grace

Always willing to speak what you now know is the truth

The world will rage at the words that you dare to speak

Being kind, decent, and loving is no life for the meek!

Philosophy Poem: Eyes

Philosophy Poem: EYES

Time like a breeze passes by us all

With age our eyes will grow dim

Will we know the voices that we hear

When we cannot see the speaker

Will our loved ones be know to us

My children, my voice, will they obey it

Will my wife deceive me before my face

Will I have to feel the arms of my children

My daughter, will I only know you by your scent

I pray my Lord my loved ones play me for no fool

Lord, please let your light in me always remain

Samson fooled by a harlot to his own disgrace

Walking in darkness the sand is truly shifty

You are the Light O Lord to my life and Soul

All men have eyes when the Spirit of God is inside

Poem: Praying For God’s Judgement

Lord, why is it that You stand so far from us

Lord, why do You hide Yourself from our troubles

You say that You hate the mouth of a wicked man

Yet the blood of the poor lays upon the Jailers floor

All Branches of government their mouth’s are full of deceit

Your ways are grievous to them, they see You as empty air

Our Leaders murder the innocent and steal all the poor have

The Rulers crouch like Lions hiding behind vain promises

These Liars, thieves and murders think You do not exist nor see

Lord rise up, lift up Your hand, forget not those who love You

I know that You have seen their transgressions, strike them Lord

The rich and the powerful buy the fatherless to be their slaves

The poor and the weak we commit our lives to Your Holiness

Lord break evils grip upon the Earth so no more blood they spill
