(Philosophy Poem) Dry Bones

Dry Bones

Twice it shall be where we are totally exposed

Sinew, skin and our clothes will always pass away

We hide our virtues or our lack thereof only in vain

Our nakedness we try to hide yet many shall see it

All that lies beneath our ornaments fades with time

Do our bones just lay beneath the ground waiting to rise

Will we awake for All Saints Days to love or to hate again

The Soul given us, does it lay quietly waiting in the ground

From the Crypt of the Underworld one day Hell will surely arise

Above the ground or beneath it, where can our Soul or bones hide

In the depths of the Seas many have sank into the sand and will first arise

Some bones lay frozen in time, others are but vapors in the winds of wars

In the Badlands and deserts there are many lives hidden in shifting sands

At the Word of G-d the great and the small will arise in their allotted hour

Our bodies dried bones will go to dust, yet our Soul to Paradise or the Fire

    1. O, thank you Dolly, as always, when I write something I never know if anyone will actually like it. I appreciate you my friend. I hope that you had a good Sabbath and that your week goes well for you, G-d’s peace to you and to yours.
