On the 31st of August, the Trump Administration has decided to end all of the US Funding to UNRWA- United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. 
UNRWA was founded back in 1949 following the 1948 Arab-Israeli war known as the Nakba war. The agency was established via the UN General Assembly Resolution 302. Its mandate is “to alleviate the conditions of starvation and distress among the Palestinian refugees.” In other words, the work of the agency is mainly humanitarian by nature and in respect to the UN and universal human rights values.
