Theology Poem: Communion With God

Communion With God

If I truly love God, will I not keep His Words to live by

Our Father loves us and He abides in me as I in Him

If I choose not to walk in God’s Love, I am but a fool

God’s Holy Spirit is the Comforter that lives inside us

We will be taught all things if we will shut up and listen

The body is but temporary, just as the food that we do eat

Our body is made in the image of God, for His Spirit to indwell

As The Father raised up His Son so shall He raise up our Soul

Know ye not that our body is owned by God and His Spirit

Our body is the Temple of The Holy Spirit, it is not our own

By the Grace of God we are all one family both the Gentile and Jew

Because of the spilled blood of Christ we can all commune with Him

Death was the Devils bondage that the Resurrection of Christ broke

We shall be changed in the blink of an eye to the Glory of God fulfilled

Communion with the Angels of God we shall be joint heirs in Salvation
