  1. A most interesting and informative article. I do know the severe damage caused by floods and droughts. I’ve lived in California my entire life. Prolonged droughts can and do kill trees and all other plant life. Heavy rains often flood, causing loss of homes, businesses, especially those close to rivers. Since I’m convinced we have already passed the point of “no return” where climate change is concerned, and I live near the confluence of the American and Sacramento Rivers, I’ve equipped my home with a generator for my refrigerator, and have stocked up on necessary, easy-to-prepare foods, medical supplies, etc. for the time when they will be difficult to find. Since I use a walker, I now have a ramp to use when I no longer have power for my lift. I’ve also convinced my neighbors to prepare in the same fashion. Will this be enough? I can only hope so.

    1. You are wise to do what you have done, burying ones head in the sand does not help one to be able to breathe. I am glad that you liked their article and I thank you Ma’am for the kindness of your comment.
