Looking back, moving forward.

Mitten State Science

Hey Y’all,

This post is not strictly travel or science related; but a reflection on what I’ve done in the past, and what I am going to do with my future. Two years ago today I was formally diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a disease which has forced me to evolve my narrative and learn how to adapt to my surroundings on a finite scale. Often down to “There is a stick on the sidewalk two steps away, go over or around?”

Sharing my disability story is easy, because I am still new to it and excited to share what I know about current medicines and treatment options.

First let’s journey back to six years ago June of 2012.
