Native to South America in the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, Carnotaurus was a fearsome predator that measured around twenty-five feet long. Its arms were more or less vestigial, but its razor-sharp teeth more than compensated for this deficiency. The razor-tailed Carnotaurus was a mutant that has left behind few fossils and as such is yet to be discovered.

The razor-tailed Carnotaurus had passed to greener pastures this way
A muscle in its tail (caudofemoralis) was attached by a tendon to the upper leg bones. As this fearsome beast moved forward – its tail swished laterally because of the double attachment of this muscle. The faster the beast moved the faster its tail swished. The mutation had resulted in the dinosaur being completely covered with thick armor consisting of razor-sharp oval plates of bone.
Its passage resulted in cut-tree slices.
