The political leadership of Poland continues to consider the issue of filing claims against Germany with reparations for the damage, caused during the Second World War. So, yesterday, September 6, a statement was made about the intention to increase the amount of claims. If earlier in the means of mass media it was reported about “billion claims”, now the amount is going to be about a trillion US dollars.
Polish Foreign Minister Vitold Vashchikovsky said during an interview with the local radio station RMF about the need to held “serious negotiations” with Germany in case of “finding a way to cope with the fact that the German-Polish relations are troubled by the German aggression of 1939 and unsolved post-war problems”.
