The Parliament is deciding the President’s fate

Right now the Brazilian Parliament is deciding the fate of the Brazilian President Michel Temer. They are voting on an action to close the case brought against the president. The president is accused of taking a $150,000 bribe, the case is going to be brought to the Brazilian Supreme Court if the action to close the case is brought down. The senators that vote no are voting for the expulsion of the president, the ones that vote yes are voting for him to remain in power.

The majority of those voting no are justifying it by saying Temer is against the average people in Brazil and against workers rights, their justifications are almost all without reference to the corruption charges.
