China’s Economic Growth Goal For 2017 Is Set At 6.5%

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF REUTERS NEWS AGENCY)

China is aiming to expand its economy by around 6.5 percent in 2017 as it continues to implement a proactive fiscal policy and maintain a prudent monetary policy, Premier Li Keqiang said on Sunday.

Top leaders at the National People’s Congress are tolerating slightly slower economic growth this year to give them more room to push through reforms to deal with a build-up in debt.

A lending binge and increased government spending last year have fueled worries about high debt levels and an overheating housing market.

Gross domestic product grew 6.7 percent in 2016, the slowest in 26 years, but within the government’s target range of 6.5 to 7 percent.

China will push forward with supply-side reforms this year and achieve new progress in structural adjustments in key areas, Li said in remarks prepared for delivery at the opening of the annual meeting of parliament.

China will also take steps to control risks and ensure safety in the financial sector, the premier said.

China should have higher levels of vigilance against risks from non-performing assets, debt defaults, shadow banking and internet finance, Li said.

It will steadily push forward with de-leveraging this year, mainly in the non-financial corporate sector, he said.

China will also push forward with asset securitization and debt-to-equity swaps this year.

China will continue to implement a city-based policy to reduce real estate inventories, mainly in the third and fourth-tier cities, Li said.

Disciple: We All Are One, But A Disciple Of What

A lot of people when they hear the word disciple tend to think of the Lord’s twelve Apostles. These men were indeed disciples of Jesus Christ but in their case they were a whole lot more that just disciples. These men were hearer’s and seekers of the Lord in the flesh and of His miracles. There are no Apostles of Christ left upon the Earth today as John, the writer of the last book of the Bible called Revelation was the last and he died in the late first century A.D..  I put this little ‘disclaimer’ in because I have heard of a few men in my lifetime who has tried to deceive people by saying they were one.  John was the only one of the Lord’s Apostles who wasn’t murdered for their testimony of Christ. If you come across a person who says that they are an Apostle of Christ you can know without any doubt that this person is not even a disciple of the Lord because this person starts his testimony with a lie. The definition of the word disciple is to be a ‘follower’ of.

There are sects of the Christian faith that teach in error the concept of ‘once saved always saved’ even though the Scriptures do not teach this. Think about a person who was actually an Apostle of Jesus, a man who witnessed Jesus and His miracles and listened to His words daily for three years yet his own actions condemned himself. This man of which I speak is of course Judas Iscariot, the Apostle who for 30 pieces of silver betrayed Jesus to be condemned. Judas chose to become a disciple of and a worker for Satan, much to his own horror. Jesus Himself said “it was better for the man who betrayed Him, if he had never been born. For it was for this purpose , this act that Judas was brought into this world.” In the Gospel of Luke 22:3 it is written,”Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot.” Folks, what a horrible thing for this man Judas for the next time he see’s the face of Jesus will be at his own judgement at the Judgement Seat of Christ. In the Webster Dictionary the definition of the word disciple reads as follows “follower, one who takes another as a teacher and model, training that produces orderliness, obedience and self-control.” All of these things that Mr. Webster says about being a disciple is exactly what I want to be, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. This thing, this event, being a disciple of Jesus is exactly what I wish for everyone on Earth to have as their main daily goal in their lives.

Friends, everyone on Earth is a disciple of something or of someone, humans always have been, it is a reality of our nature. I know that there are some who are disagreeing with me right now on a personal level , that is okay, hopefully before you finish reading this article you will change your mind on that issue. Everyone of us humans are known by our works, what we do, or what we do not do. The people that are around us each day (at least the ones who even notice us at all) make judgements of us on the things we say and or do, or don’t do, fair or not this is reality. We humans are not saved by our works but we are known by them. This is so that we as humans should not boast of our accomplishments, raising ourselves above others because it is by the Grace of God that we are saved. This is why we must all walk our lives after the path of and the face of He whom we follow each day, if we are a disciple of Jesus Christ. If we are a disciple of Jesus we must all walk in the Light of The Lord everyday. The Lord gave us the examples on how we should live our lives, He doesn’t force us to do anything though, it is our choice what we do or don’t do. Question, if we walk after the face and the heart of Jesus in faith wouldn’t the things we do each day, our works, show to the world that we are a disciple of Christ? If you have people in your life who don’t believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Saviour of the human race, I pray that you by the example you lead each and everyday is an example of the Light, the Love of Jesus. If we are just a once a week Christian then we are neither hot or cold as we show Christ as a bad example to those around us and those people will turn away from the salvation that Jesus offers all of us, because of you, because of your works being evil they will be condemned.

Folks, this is concerning our ‘works’, our daily activities and why they matter so much. The Apostle Paul in his letters to the Churches in Asia Minor told the Christians there that just because it is legal for us to do something, let’s say like going to a bar/saloon/pub after work with a few of our buddies and have a couple of beers before we head home, it is not always a good idea to do so. The reason Paul gave was because if a weaker Christian sees us going into the bar they may think less of us as a Christian, thus think less of Christianity and fall away from The Faith. Paul was just telling us to be careful about our actions each day because our actions do matter, if we are a Christian we are supposed to be a ‘light unto the world’. It may sound a bit cold but if we are not walking our lives, our daily examples, after the Light of Lord then we are walking in the darkness of this world and at the very least, our own actions are condemning ourselves. This life for we humans is but the ‘blink of the eye’ in regards to eternity yet we seem to find it so difficult to stay faithful for just this little while. If we fall, if we fail, it is our own fault if we are after this life, thrown into Hell.

The Devil puts so much onto the daily path that we walk. He wants us all to trip and fall as often as possible hoping for the day that we give up and do not get up. He wants every one of us to stumble in and to live in His darkness. Remember friends, the Devil is a raging Lion constantly walking the Earth seeking whom He can devour.  Satan wants you, your parents, grandparents, your kids, brothers and sisters, your spouse and everyone you know and love to go to Hell, literally. You see, Satan and tens of thousands of Angels fought against God, His Son, the Holy Spirit and their faithful Angels for supremacy of Heaven itself, and they lost. They were kicked out of Heaven onto the Earth where they will be until the end of this system of things that we are all part of. Then once the Second Advent of Christ happens they will be cast straight into Hell as their final punishment for their treason against God. The Devil and His Angels know the Bible better than any human and they know that events are winding down. They also know that we humans whom they hate so badly are going to have a fair and honest chance to have what they once had, salvation, eternity with God. So you see friends, it really does matter what path we choose in this life, it matters a lot whom or what we decide to ‘follow’,  to be a disciple of. None of us knows when our last heartbeat will be yet once it has happened the path we followed can not be changed. With the Lord Jesus there is only one path, the one that leads us to Him. There are many other paths and they all lead us to the same place and that place is not to God, it is to the Devil and all of His raging Angels who are waiting for us in Hell, it is our choice. Whom or what are we a Disciple of?

The Islamic Ambush That is Awaiting The American People

via The Islamic ambush awaiting us

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF BRITTUS BLOG SITE)

Almost 50 years ago, a young Marine lieutenant led a combat patrol through a village in Vietnam. Having witnessed numerous patrols of this sort before, villagers continued about their daily routine.

After hearing a village elder say something to a fellow villager, the lieutenant immediately stopped his men. With new orders issued and weapons at the ready, the patrol quietly advanced, ultimately surprising an enemy force just outside the village that had been waiting to spring an ambush on the Marines.

The lieutenant never knew if the elder had intentionally tipped him off or simply did not know he spoke Vietnamese, overhearing an ambush lay ahead. Being able to speak the local language fortuitously saved American lives.

This story holds a lesson we need heed in view of a meeting President Donald Trump’s new national security adviser, Maj. Gen. H.R. McMaster, just held with his staff.

McMaster informed his people that linking terrorism to radical Islam – a message Trump conveyed during his presidential campaign, in his inaugural speech and ever since then – is not helpful, as such terrorists are “un-Islamic.”

An Iraq war veteran and student of history, McMaster is apparently taking a stand – similar to that espoused by former President Obama – not to suggest Islam itself is violent but that extremists have hijacked Islam, giving it a violent interpretation.

It will be interesting to see how this interpretation plays out with Trump and whether he decides to throttle back on his own assertion about Islam or has McMaster throttle back on his. In his Feb. 28 speech to Congress, Trump did not back off from linking terrorism to radical Islam. As to whom, between these two, has the better grasp on the religion, another story need be told.

To protect his identity, an Arabic translator working in a refugee center in Germany, dealing with hundreds of Muslim migrants daily, will be referred to as “X.” A secret X has kept from all who reside at the center is that he is a Christian. Revealing this at the center would be a death sentence for him.

Speaking the language, X understands exactly what refugees think about non-Muslims who have opened up their hearts to them: They seek to carve those hearts out!

X attests it is frightening to hear what is said within these centers. Having escaped death in their native lands, having been given food and shelter in a non-Muslim land, having been given access to welfare programs to help them get on their feet, these Muslim refugees are not appreciative. What Germans do for the refugees is expected of them in recognition of Islam’s religious superiority.

But, most frighteningly, while accepting Western generosity, these refugees conspire eventually to relieve their hosts of their lives and property. These refugee centers are transitioning into dens of iniquity.

A group known as “Open Doors Germany” is documenting how this mindset thrives among Muslim refugees. Refugees attend mosques where clerics deliver hate-filled sermons against all non-Muslims, including their German hosts.

This leads to the persecution of Christians at the refugee centers. Christian refugees in Rotenburg who dared attend a church service, returned to the center to find threatening graffiti on the walls of their room reading, “Cut the Christians’ heads off!”

Such threats have not lain idle. Christians find it difficult to sleep in the centers, knowing someone in the next room believes his faith mandates he kill them. Hundreds of attacks are recorded. Open Doors revealed how there have been “assaults, stabbings, life-threatening situations … (with) some refugees end(ing) up in the hospital.”

Muslims admonish Christian refugees as “unclean.” Males assert their right under Islam to rape Christian women. As Germany and many other European countries have borne witness, Muslim males believe this right extends to native Christian women as well. This is evidenced today by rape epidemics in many of these Western countries.

We are foolish not to accept the fact mosques, whether in Muslim-majority countries or not, feed Islam’s followers with hate messages for non-Muslims. So fed, some opt to radicalize and act on them; some do not. But we need understand terrorism emanates from such hate speech against non-Muslims. Because Islam’s foundation is built upon this hatred, it is not extremists who have hijacked Islam to give it a violent interpretation; it is moderates who have hijacked Islam to give it a non-violent one.

Interestingly, several Muslim countries recognize that a link does exist between Islam and terrorism and, therefore, refuse to accept Muslim refugees.

This brings us back to McMaster’s instruction to his staff not to couch terrorism in terms of radical Islam and the Marine lieutenant who led his patrol in Vietnam.

McMaster’s guidance to his staff seems to stem from concerns non-radical Muslims, offended by our linking terrorism to Islam, might become radicalized. What he dismisses by doing so, however, is that Muslims are already fully indoctrinated by their clerics and the Quran to hate non-Muslims. Such indoctrination leaves us not knowing whom among them might opt for radicalization. But the possibility Muslims so programmed with a hateful ideology might be motivated to act radically imposes a duty upon our leaders to forewarn us of the danger that an ambush may lay ahead.

If the lieutenant leading his patrol in Vietnam had not understood the language, he would have led his patrol into an ambush. Few Americans understand Arabic and, thus, what clerics teach in their mosques or Muslim refugees discuss in their centers. Efforts by Open Doors to reveal this is critical to avoid the ambush Islam plots for non-Muslims and which it hopes, through our continuing ignorance, we not know lies ahead.

We are way past the time our leaders need worry honestly about Islam’s hatred and intolerance for us might possibly radicalize Muslims to undertake acts of terrorism. That seed has already been implanted by Islam’s clerics into their followers’ collective psyche. It is time our leaders now be honest with us, educating the American people and acknowledging that Islam, indeed, promotes terrorism.

China’s Communist Government Trying To Force Its Will On India Over Dalai Lama Visit

Bilateral ties will be seriously damaged if India allows the Dalai Lama to visit Arunachal Pradesh in the coming weeks, China warned on Friday while reiterating its contention that the Tibetan spiritual leader is a “separatist”.The warning from China’s foreign ministry came soon after the country’s former chief negotiator on the border issue, Dai Bingguo, said there should be some give and take to settle the dragging boundary dispute.

The foreign ministry said it is “gravely concerned” about reports that the Dalai Lama will visit the northeastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh in the near future.

The Dalai Lama’s visit will cause “serious damage” to China-India ties, foreign ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang told a regular news briefing. “China is strongly opposed to Dalai Lama visiting disputed areas,” he said.

“China’s position on eastern section of China-India border dispute is consistent and clear. The Dalai-clique has long been engaging in anti-China separatist activities and its record on the border question is not that good,” Geng said.

Meanwhile, India on Friday dismissed China’s warning over the Dalai Lama’s proposed visit to Arunachal Pradesh, saying that New Delhi’s position on the matter is well-known.

“The government’s position is well-known and has not changed,” external affairs ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay said in response to a query.

China claims Arunachal Pradesh as part of its territory, calling it south Tibet. The state comprises the eastern sector of the nearly 3,500-km disputed border between India and China. The town of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh is an important seat of Tibetan Buddhism and is located 400 km from Lhasa, the capital of China’s Tibet Autonomous Region.

Geng avoided a direct comment on an interview by Dai Bingguo, China’s Special Representative for border talks with India till 2013, in which Dai had said: “If the Indian side takes care of China’s concerns on the eastern section of the border, the Chinese side will respond accordingly and address India’s concerns elsewhere.”

Dai didn’t mention specific sections of the border where China could address India’s “concerns”.

“The disputed territory in the eastern sector of the China-India boundary including Tawang (in Arunachal Pradesh) is inalienable from China’s Tibet in terms of cultural background and administrative jurisdiction,” Dai told China-India Dialogue magazine that is part of the official China International Publishing Group.

Dai was the Special Representative for 15 rounds of talks with four Indian counterparts – Brajesh Mishra, JN Dixit, MK Narayanan and Shivshankar Menon.

Without directly commenting on the interview, Geng said it is in “the fundamental interest of the two countries” to reach an “early solution” to the border issue. This is also an “important consensus” reached by the two sides, he added.

“At present the two sides have reached a roadmap to find a solution based on political parameters and guiding principles. They have also reached the important consensus that they are committed to an equitable, reasonable solution acceptable to the two sides,” Geng said.

“China would like to work with India to work relentlessly on negotiation process and find a solution that is equitable, reasonable to all parties,” he added.

Geng was more emphatic about China’s displeasure on the Dalai Lama’s visit to Arunchal Pradesh. Indicating that India is deliberately allowing the Dalai Lama to visit the region despite knowing China’s expected reaction, Geng said India is aware of the sensitivity of the matter.

“India is fully aware of the seriousness of the Dalai issue and the sensitivity of China-India border question,” he said.

“Under such a background if India invites Dalai to visit the mentioned territory it will cause serious damage to peace and stability of the border region and China-India relations.”

Geng said China had conveyed its displeasure and concerns to India about the impending visit through formal channels.

“We have expressed concerns to the Indian side, urged India to stick to its political commitments and abide by important consensus the two sides have reached on the boundary question, refrain from actions that might complicate the issue, not provide a platform to the Dalai-clique and protect the sound and stable development of China-India relations,” he said.

China had strongly protested against the Dalai Lama’s meeting with President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in December, saying it opposes any form of contact between the Tibetan leader and officials of other countries.

INDIA: UP Minister Accused In Gang Rape Of Mom And Teenage Girl Has Disappeared

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF THE HINDUSTAN TIMES)

Airports across the country were on Friday alerted about the possibility of rape-accused UP minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati trying to flee the country even as chief minister Akhilesh Yadav promised all help in the case. While the minister continues to elude police, a relative of the woman has said a UP Police officer who recorded the victim’s statement threatened to kill them.

Yadav and his Samajwadi Party are facing the heat over the missing minister as the state holds sixth round of voting on Saturday.

The case, the BJP said, was a pointer to the worsening law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh.

A letter of cancellation would soon be opened against Prajapati and all airports were alerted to prevent the 49-year-old from fleeing the country, official sources said.

A letter of cancellation is a technical term for alerting immigration authorities about the possibility of a suspect leaving the country.

The Sashastra Seema Bal, which guards Uttar Pradesh’s border with Nepal, too, was on an alert.

An FIR was recently registered against the minister for allegedly gang-raping a woman and molesting her daughter. The FIR was filed on the directions of the Supreme Court.

CM promises help

“The matter is in the Supreme Court…The government will fully cooperate and go by its order,” Akhilesh Yadav said to a question at a hurriedly convened press conference in Lucknow.

When his attention was drawn to a tweet by state BJP president Keshav Prasad Maurya that said Prajapati was hiding in the chief minister’s house, Yadav asked the mediapersons to check for themselves.

Prajapati is the SP’s candidate from Amethi, which voted on February 27.

‘Murder threat’

A relative of the woman allegedly raped by Prajapati and his aides alleged that a police officer who came to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi to record the victim’s statement, threatened to kill them in a fake encounter.

In a complaint filed at the city’s Hauz Khas police station, the relative alleged that a DSP-rank officer on Thursday barged into the ward where the victim’s 16-year-old daughter is admitted and threatened them. The officer also snatched their mobile phones.

The victim’s daughter, who was also allegedly sexually assaulted by the minister, is being treated in a restricted ward of AIIMS.

“The lady officer pushed the girl who is undergoing treatment and pestered the mother to record the statement.

“When we objected to it, the officer threatened to get us killed in a fake encounter,” said the complainant, who claimed to be a cousin of the victim.

Delhi Police sources said a team went to AIIMS but found nothing to back the claims made in the complaint.

“We have received a complaint from them and it is being examined. In case something comes out in the investigation, we will register an FIR,” a Delhi Police officer said.

Deputy superintendent of police Amita Singh had recorded the statement of the victim and her daughter amid opposition by their family members at AIIMS.

Trump Accuses Obama Of “Nixon/Watergate” Type “Bugging” Of Trump Tower Phones

(THIS ARTICLE IS COURTESY OF THE WASHINGTON POST)

President Trump on Saturday angrily accused former president Barack Obama of orchestrating a “Nixon/Watergate” plot to tap the phones at his Trump Tower headquarters last fall in the run-up to the election.

Citing no evidence to support his explosive allegation, Trump said in a series of five tweets sent Saturday morning that Obama was “wire tapping” his New York offices before the election in a move he compared to McCarthyism. “Bad (or sick) guy!” he said of his predecessor, adding that the surveillance resulted in “nothing found.”

Trump offered no citations nor did he point to any credible news report to back up his accusation, but he may have been referring to commentary on Breitbart and conservative talk radio suggesting that Obama and his administration used “police state” tactics last fall to monitor the Trump team. The Breitbart story, published Friday, has been circulating among Trump’s senior staff, according to a White House official who described it as a useful catalogue of the Obama administration’s activities.

A spokesman for Obama did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

Trump has been feuding with the intelligence community since before he took office, convinced that career officers as well as holdovers from the Obama administration have been trying to sabotage his presidency. He has ordered internal inquiries to find who leaked sensitive information regarding communications during the campaign between Russian officials and his campaign associates and allies, including ousted national security adviser Michael Flynn and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

What is next for Trump and the intelligence community?

Some current and former intelligence officials cast doubt on Trump’s assertion.

“It’s highly unlikely there was a wiretap on the president-elect,” said one former senior intelligence official familiar with surveillance law who spoke candidly on the condition of anonymity. “It seems unthinkable. If that were the case by some chance, that means that a federal judge would have found that there was either probable cause that he had committed a crime or was an agent of a foreign power.”

A wiretap cannot be directed at a U.S. facility, the official said, without finding probable cause that the phone lines or Internet addresses were being used by agents of a foreign power — or by someone spying for or acting on behalf of a foreign government. “You can’t just go around and tap buildings,” the official said.

Trump sent the tweets from Palm Beach, Fla., where he is vacationing this weekend at his private Mar-a-Lago estate. It has long been his practice to stir up new controversies to deflect attention from a damaging news cycle, such as the one in recent days about Sessions and Russia.

Trump’s tweets took numerous top White House aides by surprise, according to a second White House official who was not authorized to speak publicly. There was an expectation that Saturday would be a “down day, pretty quiet,” this official said, and there was little if any attempt to coordinate the president’s message on the wire-tapping allegations.
