Sift me!



God uses so many things in our lives to teach us. To guide us. To show us the err of our ways.

He uses our everyday life experiences. He uses other people. He uses hard times and difficult circumstances.

He even uses what we are tempted to call ‘chance encounters’.

His intent for us, as His children, is for all of these things to grow us and to mature us in the faith. He desires to use them to cause us to seek Him and to draw us closer to Him. He wants to use them to mold us to be more like Him.

Too often, we see the detours He leads us through as detrimental road blocks when in fact they are life-saving and life-giving measures to keep us on the right path as well as to build us up in Him. We don’t need to fear these times…
