Who Do You Consider To Be Your Family

Who Do You Consider To Be Your Family

Who do you consider your family to be? I know from raising this subject within small groups that people have a wide variety of answers to that simple question. Some people only feel that their immediate household is their family, you know, Mom, Dad, and siblings. I have met quite a few people who have even divorced some of or all of those people from their lives. I have met many people who are by blood siblings or parents of friends that I know well, whom when you met them you see why your friends have no use for this or that blood relative. When I was growing up I was inundated by alcoholics who were also close blood and of course those they chose to hang around and guzzle the suds too. These days it seems that drugs like crack and meth are the vehicle which is totally ripping families apart. When people get hooked on those chemicals they usually find themselves unemployed and homeless when they have used up all of their friends and family because they will steal from anyone to get another high. After a while even close family members tell them to never darken their doorway again. Of course there are many other reasons also that causes families to fall apart, to me, either which way you look at this issue it is sad when brother won’t speak to his brother, or parent to child.

My wife as well as a few other people throughout my life have told me they think I’m nuts because to me once you are family, you are always family. I have at times joked that I must have some Italian blood in my veins because of how I feel about this issue. I know that I don’t, my tree just goes back to Norway, Ireland, Scotland, and England so I’m just a Scandinavian area mutt. The only brother that I ever knew (one brother died before I was born) was married three times before he died from an aneurysm at the age of 43. He was seven years older than me and so he was out whoring around well before I was. Each of the three ladies that he married already had kids when he married them. He had one child with each of them but there were/are 18 kids that weren’t his. Don’t think that I am trying to get uppity on my brother now because I myself have been married three times also. Total I have two blood kids of my own and I have two step kids that to me are my kids as if they were blood, I love all four of them. They are all four grown and I have seven grand-kids now, I consider myself to be a very fortunate person.

The place where about everyone I know thinks we have got this in our DNA of still caring, or we don’t. I am from a small core family of five so the people , once you are family, you are always family. Should I not speak with former in-laws of my own or of my brother just because of a divorce? Do you just stop communicating with people that you grew to love as if they just don’t matter anymore? To me it is difficult to stop loving someone that you have honestly loved. You see, to me all of my brothers kids and step kids are my nephews and nieces and they always will be, just as his three x-wives will always be sisters to me.

What is your opinion on my line of thoughts and beliefs about family? Do you think I am just plain odd that I would count people as family the way I do? What is your opinion on whom you consider to be in your heart. I have met a few people who when they got old enough to get out on their own they totally divorced themselves from everyone they knew usually because of how they were treated in their growing up years. To me that would be a sad personal situation for any person to be in but I have also know of parents who put their kid on the street and told them to never come to their door again. It is sad for people to have such splits in their lives, it really doesn’t surprise me why many people only consider people who are not blood, to be their real family. Well, if you would, drop me a line on your thought’s of what or who, that you consider to make up a family. Thank you for your time, I appreciate you stopping in. Goodnight and God’s blessings I pray for you and your family, (inner circle).—Shalom

Why It Is Okay To Own Slaves; (Not Really)

Professional writers say that on a blog post people need to use a title that gets people’s attention so that they will stop browsing mail titles and stop and read yours. Hopefully you are not a person that believes it is okay to own another person. But, there in lies a point that in some people’s minds makes it okay to buy, sale, and trade in human flesh. I have learned in my years of travels that some people don’t really believe that other people are really actually human beings. Sounds rather ignorant doesn’t it? But I have learned in my time that God has given me that some people do believe that any other “Being” that is not of their own skin color, or religion, or even nationality, do not have Souls, that others are not really human beings with a Soul like unto their own race, religion, ….

Here in America most people would probably say that actual slaves do not exist in our country because it is illegal. Some people are naive, some people choose not to see, many choose to bury their own heads inside their own  so that they do not have to bear witness to the evil of the real world around us. I am very glad that in our country legal slavery has been abolished way before my lifetime but that plague still simmer here among us. Like in most cases in our world if you wish to see truth, follow the money, follow the ego’s, follow the hate.

When I was much younger I used to wonder how it was possible for human beings to do the horrible things they do to each other. How could a race of people justify to their God their own actions of bull whipping, raping, torturing, enslaving, and killing of other people. How could the English justify their actions toward the Irish people or the Indian, African, or even the Jewish? How could the European people come to another country like the Colonies and justify removing the Native populations? How did Americans justify removing the Mexican populations of the west and southwest? How did parts of a nation believe in the African slave trade to be exceptionable? Evil, Demonic hearts, hater filled, egotistical, greed filled souls? Yes is my belief to those questions.

Slavery has existed since man crawled out of their caves with the intent to take by any means necessary that which others possessed. To the most powerful goes the gains which others labored for, including their bodies. Why should the land owner, the governor, or the King pay for what they can get for free? When Europeans came to the Americas the wealthy purchased the law and the land just as they had in Europe. Still, someone had to do the work for them and why pay for that which you can take for free? First they tried to enslave the Native Indians but they knew the lay of the lands and they simply ran away. Then, came the indentured poor white folks who for the price of their ticket to the New World worked as a slave for usually about seven years for the Land Lords to earn their freedom. This wasn’t working all that well either so then came the enslavement of captured Africans who were to never be freed, ever. Most all enslavement’s of humans have always been about the rich owning the poor, this disgrace of enslaving the Africans is the only time in recorded history that I have ever come across that was totally color based.

I learned the answer to my question of how people could justify to themselves their actions against others, people who were different in some way than they themselves. I learned this answer in 1978 when I started going to a church in a small southern town in which I was told by the preacher that the people there (in that congregation) did not believe that non-whites had Souls. You read that correctly, this to his credit was the fact that made him turn in his notice to them that he was quitting as their Pastor. That moment in time was when the light, the answer to how came to light for me. How sickening that mind-set, how evil.

The U.N. recently stated that they believe that about 9 million people world-wide are living in slavery. They say that most of these slaves are in North Africa, the Middle East, and in Asia, most, but not all. Where there is not the heart, belief, and faith of ever human being’s being equals, there will be slavery. Where there is the heart of pure greed, there will be slavery, thievery, and unjust imprisonment. When a poor person is willing and able to work for their food and shelter they should be able to afford more than slop and a cardboard box. One simple example I will use is the case of the employees of a large/huge company cannot obtain full-time positions and a livable wage and company provided insurances for their families while the owners of the company increases their wealth by billions every year. Livable wage is a subjective term, to some a livable wage is defined as “if they are still breathing” then I am “giving” “these people” enough of “my” money. “Why should one pay for what they can get for free, or at least as little as possible”? Simple math, the smaller amount I have to give to “these people” the more I get to keep for myself. Ego, greed, evil, yes they are all bred into the Devils servants. Here in America we hear about the evil of the top 1%, the worst evil lies in the top 1/1000 of this 1% club. Is there slavery in our world today? You decide for yourself, what do you “see”?

Our Age

I have a simple question that I would like to pose to you. It is a question that most everyone in the  world will know the answer to, but there will be many different answers given. What is it, it is simply this, how many years old are you? Me, this calendar year if the Lord is willing, I will be 58. Like a lot of kids when I was young I couldn’t hardly wait to turn 18 so that I could get out of the living situation I had when I was a kid. Shortly before I turned 18 the drinking laws reverted from 21 to 18. But I was never really much of a drinker because I had seen adults getting drunk and acting like idiots and dumb asses my whole childhood and I really didn’t want to act like that myself. So the drinking age change was of little value to me except when a date wanted a bottle of wine I would now be able to get it for her. As a young man I guess I never thought too much about getting old and the changes that age does to a mind and body. This is probably because I never thought I would live to see 30. I remember though in moments of deep thought what it would be like to live long enough to see the year 2000. I remember when that did happen I went outside right after the Ball dropped and laid on the hood of our car with my back against the windshield closed my eyes and thanked the Lord for His kindness. The year 2000 was the year that my Mom was killed in a car wreck though, it was exactly three weeks before her 70th birthday. In 1993 my Dad died at the age of 66, so it seems in our DNA becoming an ancient one was not likely. My heart Doctors thought I would be dead about ten years ago but for some reason the Lord is still walking with me.

A couple of things that have happened here this week  has put me on the thought path of age. A real good friend of mine turned 59 last week and my wife who is 48 but will have a birthday soon and is seemingly depressed at the thought of number 49. I know that for a lot of folks the birthday’s that end with a zero causes them a lot of stress and it does appear that my Bride is one of them. Then there is my sweet Sister who, Lord willing, will hit the big 60 this fall. Since I was injured while in the Army I always say a prayer of thank you to our Creator for being so kind as to allowing me to see another year.  I took a break this morning to watch my local news and a bit of the Good Morning America program and heard that Shirley Temple died yesterday, they said that she was 85. This is a woman who lived an extraordinary life, if you are a person who doesn’t know who she is go ahead and Google her.

In the time that Mrs Shirley Temple Black walked here among us she used her God given time well, but my question is, have you? Have I, that answer for me has to be no, I have been a screw up most of my life. When you know that your time is fading and you know that it is a truth that when you tie your shoes in the morning that it could easily be the undertaker who unties them tonight, this reality can make one drift off in thought as to how you have performed your life. What I have learned in my life is to be thankful when I open my eyes each morning and to thank the Lord each night when I put my head down on my pillow. We are all given much more grace than we deserve (in my opinion), at least that is the truth in my case.

The reason for this little message today is to speak with each of you personally about the path of life that you are on. I just want all people to spend a little quiet time with just yourself and God (if you are a believer) and to take a good look at the path in life that you are on. Are you happy in your life? If so, consider what you need to do in your future to continue in this blissful life. If you are discontent spend some quiet time with your thoughts and consider what have you experienced in your life path that has put you where you are. Now, just take a pen or pencil and write down the little things that you would like to see change in your life. Now write a commentary beneath it on what you need to do to get that event behind you so that you can go onto the next event you would like changed in your life. If we chip off the foundation of a big problem soon that big problem will fall to the ground where we can kick the air out of it. I would just like it if everyone could be living a content life style, but such a miracle is accomplished one life at a time. I have learned that it is difficult to be the kind caring person I want to be if my own life is filled with tension. I know that I probably have not said anything that is new to you here today in this post. The purpose of this note to you is simply to get you some quiet time for your inner thoughts to be in your own minds eye as you were reading this note to you. I pray that God the Father will bless and protect you and your loved ones as you float through your day, stay safe, God bless.

This Is How You Stop Returning Domestic Murderers

When or if the governments of the civilized world decide to protect their own citizens from demonic followers of Islam then they must have the guts and the will to do exactly what I am about to tell you. The world is at war right now and it is a war between good and evil and we humans are the casualties of it. When you and everyone you know and love are direct targets of pure evil then you will either fight to their death or it will absolutely be you and yours who will die instead. It does not matter if you do not believe in something or not for this something to kill you. Even if you do not believe in such things as a God or the Devil and Demons those who do believe in and follow the teachings of evil will still kill you. But this is not going to be a sermon to you at all but I do know that the harsh events that I am going to speak now must be followed if we/you wish to keep these mass murders out of our own communities.

I know that what I am going to lay out as a program of self-defense will not prevent every single act of violence by those who hate us but it will help keep many acts of terrorism off of our shores. This program goes for everyone on the planet who wishes to live in peace with freedom not just Americans and Europeans.

These things must be done immediately for our own protection and the protection of our families.

#1) When a person leaves our country and the security agencies track this person to an Islamic conflict zone the government of that person MUST immediately cancel that persons pass port so that they can not legally enter any country and their citizenship must be immediately canceled.

#2) All security agencies around the globe must be immediately notified about this person so that they can be arrested on sight.

#3) It must be public knowledge for these people to know and the free world must follow through with the policy of/if they are ever spotted in their former country that they will be shot on sight, no exceptions.

These people are coming back as trained murderers and they are here to kill you and everyone you have ever cared about. They do not give mercy and they must know that they will not be given any mercy if they ever step foot on our countries soil. Is this harsh, yes it is. It comes down to the question of if you wish to stay alive or not or if you wish to have any freedom or not. I always prefer no evil, no blood shed, no hate, no anger, but in the real world pacifists will die young and they will take the ones they love to their grave with them. I do not believe that any of these suggestions will ever come to pass because our governments (politicians) do not have the guts or the intelligence to help save their own citizens. There is a slight possibility that some of the countries in Europe (like France) might possibly implement these policies but not here in America, our so-called leaders are simply to weak.
